Under new manager Arne Slot, Liverpool has not yet added any new players, but that is anticipated to change before the transfer market closes at the end of the month.
With Arne Slot taking over, Liverpool will formally usher in a new era in only ten days.
Jurgen Klopp, who opted to resign after nearly nine years in command, was succeeded as Liverpool’s manager by Slot. The Reds will host Ipswich on August 17 at Portman Road to begin the new Premier League season.
Liverpool hasn’t added any new players this summer yet, but that could change given that the team has been connected to several players. In light of everything mentioned above, Mirror Football examines the most recent transfer rumours pertaining to the team.
Slot anticipates first signing
The Athletic claims that Liverpool wants to sign a new midfield player before the transfer window closes.
According to the article, Slot is “purchasing a specialist No 6 from outside of the Premier League,” despite having filled the position in preseason with Wataru Endo, Ryan Gravenberch, and Dominik Szoboszlai.
Liverpool turned down a summertime bid of about £12 million for Endo, but if they acquire a replacement, their position may potentially shift. The Japan international is attracting interest from several other clubs as well.
Robertson replacement identified.
TYC Sports reports that Liverpool is considering Julio Soler, an Olympic talent from Argentina, as a possible long-term successor for Andy Robertson.
Argentina advanced to the quarterfinals of the Olympics thanks in large part to the 19-year-old Soler, who played in every match. Soler’s valuation is estimated to be approximately £13 million, and the article claims that Liverpool has been scouting the full-back.
After making his senior debut in 2022, Soler, who joined Club Atletico Lanus at the age of nine, went on to make 36 appearances in the first team for the team.

Mateusz Musialowski, an offensive midfielder for Liverpool who was released by the Reds, has joined Omonoia, a club in Cyprus.
Musialowski joined Liverpool in 2020 and played in just one first-team game, substituting in during the Europa League match against Sparta Prague. Regarding the change, Musialowski stated, “It’s a good opportunity for me to compete, consistently, in the first team”.
“I chose to attend because I saw it as a significant step for my career. I thought the project and the team’s proposal were good.”
