Liverpool transfer news as Jürgen Klopp ‘ready to fulfil $32m clause’ and André claim surfaces
Share
A new rumor regarding Brazilian star André Trindade has Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp allegedly “willing” to pay a La Liga forward’s release clause.
Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Ryan Gravenberch were three excellent additions to Liverpool’s roster over the summer, and Wataru End could be a wise purchase as more of a stop-gap.
But over the course of the following couple of transfer windows, there is still work to be done.
When a player is signed in January, Luis Dáz in 2022 and Cody Gakpo the following year could both benefit from it.
Despite the talent of Luke Chambers and the introduction of Jarell Quansah, Liverpool could probably use another center-back sooner rather than later.
Joel Matip’s contract expires at the conclusion of the current campaign.
It would be ideal to add another midfielder to the squad, with Liverpool clearly prioritizing the acquisition of a top holding player after Moisés Caicedo and Roméo Lavia, who both chose Chelsea, were not acquired during the previous transfer window.
A defensive midfielder has once again been linked to the Reds, and a young forward is also reportedly on Jürgen Klopp’s radar.
Here is the Liverpool.com opinion on the transfer rumors that have surfaced around the Reds today.
Assane Diao (Real Betis)
According to the Spanish publication Fichajes, Liverpool is prepared to meet Assane Diao’s $32 million (£26 million/€30 million) release clause now that the wonderkid is beginning to make a significant impact.
The 18-year-old has only made four senior appearances for the La Liga team, but he has three goals in those games, including one in the Europa League.
Naturally, Real Madrid and Barcelona have also been mentioned as potential candidates.
According to Liverpool.com: Although Diao clearly has talent, Liverpool usually signs these players either before they begin to establish themselves (think of Ben Doak, Stefan Bajeti, and Bobby Clark) or after they have done so.
Diao should probably think about staying at Betis for a while, where he will probably get more playing time than he would at a bigger club, where the pressure is greater and the minutes might be harder to come by.
André Trindade (Fluminense).
André is still being linked to a January transfer to Liverpool in a story that just won’t go away. The Reds do require a holding midfielder, and the 22-year-old could provide the solution by mid-season.
The Copa Libertadores was not the only game that Liverpool continued to follow, according to 90Min.
Fluminense, which now faces Boca Juniors in the championship game on November 4, was desperately trying to hold onto its talent for that competition.
The Reds would benefit greatly if they could find a suitable number six in the middle of the season to allow Alexis Mac Allister to play his more natural position.
It would be interesting to see if André could just fit in right away. His transition to playing in the Premier League might take some time.
More news………
Liverpool is allegedly interested in a Brazilian defender.
Still looking for a defender is the Reds. With a brand-new midfield but no additional defenders, Liverpool closed the summer transfer window with a bang.
It’s obvious that the center-back position needs to be filled with fresh talent.
The injury table is a point of contention for 32-year-old captain Virgil van Dijk’s teammates Ibrahima Konaté and Jol Matip like it’s the final musical chair.
Although Liverpool hasn’t historically done much business in the winter, they have been known to make exceptions if the need is great enough or the player is talented enough.
The ideal illustration of that would be van Dijk himself, with whom the Reds finally agreed to a contract in January 2018.
The Brazilian player Lucas Beraldo is one that Klopp and company are reportedly considering right now to fill the need in defense.
Currently, Beraldo represents Sao Paulo in his native Brazil.
The English and European teams are reportedly interested in him, according to the Brazilian media.
In addition to the Reds, Wolves and Newcastle United are also rumored to be contenders, and teams like Porto, Benfica, and Monaco are also being mentioned. The center back, who is 19 years old and also plays for Brazil’s U20 team, made his team debut last year.
He wouldn’t be the player vying for position next to van Dijk if he did make it to Merseyside.
Up until Klopp saw evidence of his abilities, he would hold down at least fourth place in the pecking order.
He might have been a good long-term project and a nice fit for the team, according to the scouting reports.
It’s possible, but it’s more likely that they’re just spreading false information and will soon disappear from the map.
