Fulham supporters are not happy with Fabio Carvalho’s impending move from Liverpool to Brentford, as they will be watching their former star play for their rivals in London.

Fulham supporters are furious as Liverpool is about to approve Fabio Carvalho’s move to Brentford.

The Portuguese striker has been a member of Anfield’s roster for the last two seasons. He left on loan last season to play football, first with RB Leipzig and then Hull City. However, he will now return to west London permanently. His actions at Fulham were what prompted the Reds to make a play for him.

Carvalho had a fantastic season in the Championship for the Cottagers, but he hasn’t been able to sustain that in the Premier League. Brentford is prepared to pay £27.5 million, of which £22 million is due in advance, for him.

The goal of the Bees is to return the 21-year-old to his peak performance, which may make Fulham very angry. Due to his contract expiring, they were compelled to sell him, and the club’s supporters are not thrilled with his fate.

Someone stated: “Fabio Carvalho should’ve stayed at Fulham, we just wasted 3 years of his career” . Another predicted that he may be a disappointment at Brentford: “Do you believe Carvalho will be added to that list as a Fulham fan? I haven’t watched him play much, but he looks wealthy; perhaps he will be another failure.”

Carvalho played in the second division with Hull for the second half of the previous season, but following Anfield’s managerial change, it appeared as though the young player could force his way into Arne Slot’s plans by appearing frequently in preseason games.

After Carvalho made an impression during preseason, Liverpool rejected down a bid from Southampton and were reportedly keen to keep him on Merseyside.

However, the Reds have proven to be astute market participants, frequently offloading players for large gains. Another example is Carvalho’s impending departure, as Liverpool is set to earn a profit of up to £20 million before Fulham is entitled to a share of the sell-on fee that was agreed upon back in 2022. This summer’s Slot has not yet authorised any significant arrivals or departures.

Barring a deal for Real Sociedad’s Martin Zubimendi being finalised before next week, Carvalho is expected to be the most high-profile player to join or leave Liverpool before the season.
