This morning’s Liverpool FC digest looks at the potential implications for the Premier League of the probe into Manchester City’s alleged 115 financial violations.

The Blues said, “The club will also monitor with great interest the decisions made in any other cases concerning the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules,” after Everton was docked ten points.
This assertion relates to the fact that Man City and Chelsea are both being looked into. The current Premier League champions are currently facing over 100 charges, while the Londoners have not been accused.
In February, Man City was reported to an impartial panel due to a purported 115 infractions of league regulations from 2009 to 2018. The league presented them with multiple allegations against the team during a five-year probe.
Liverpool is undoubtedly among the teams closely following the course of this probe, along with Everton.
Man City stripped of Premier League titles?
Everton’s 10 point deduction for breaking the Premier League’s profit and sustainability regulations has resulted in ongoing backlash.
The punishment has shocked the English premier league, especially some Liverpool supporters who are waiting on the results of Manchester City’s Financial Fair Play (FFP) investigation. It was announced in February that the Premier League had charged them with over 100 financial rule violations after a four-year investigation.
The Reds and the Etihad team have been embroiled in a recent rivalry, with the two teams competing for the championship five times in the previous ten years. And it’s raised concerns about whether City will keep the four titles they’ve won during that period.

Liverpool has been mentioned as a possible transfer partner for the 22-year-old Premier League player.
Although it is unlikely that a trade will be completed in January, Wolves left-back Rayan Ait-Nouri is apparently of interest to Liverpool.
This is based on reports from the French publication Le 10 Sport, which is unsure of the extent of Liverpool’s interest in the 22-year-old and whether or not they have contacted him.
Ait-Nouri has shown promise while playing for Wolves, and he seems like a capable long-term successor for Andrew Robertson at Liverpool. However, it’s unlikely that the Reds will view this as an immediate priority at this point.
However, Ait-Nouri is talented enough to transfer to a larger club, so it would be wise to monitor the Algerian international’s status in the next days, weeks, and months.
Le 10 Sport reports that it appears improbable that Wolves will allow the player to leave without a fight, so it may need to wait until next summer, and even then, it’s unclear how much he would cost.
Liverpool may be hoping to replicate the happiness they felt when they signed Diogo Jota from Wolves a few years ago.

The 29-year-old midfielder might receive a luring January offer from Liverpool.
Piotr Zielinski, a midfielder for Napoli, is apparently a target for Liverpool to join in the upcoming months.
At the end of the current season, the 29-year-old midfielder will be free to sign with another team, thus Napoli may try to offload him for a little sum of money in the January transfer window.
The 29-year-old will provide inventiveness, technical skill, and control to Liverpool’s midfield, which is definitely in need of more depth. He has been an important member of the Italian team, which they won the league title with last season.
Zielinski possesses both the skill and the background necessary to be successful in the Premier League.
It is unclear if Liverpool will be able to complete the deal, but they are ready to make a sizzling offer for the player in January, according to a report by Fichajes. Prior to joining Napoli, Zielinski was linked to a move to Liverpool, so the chance to play for the Premier League team would be an alluring offer for him.
Zielinski’s style of play makes him a suitable match for Liverpool. His endurance and tactical awareness allow him to contribute to Jurgen Klopp’s high-pressing style of play.
Furthermore, Zielinski might be the best replacement for Thiago Alcantara, who has been rumoured to leaving Liverpool in the upcoming months. The Premier League team may have made a wise investment by signing him for a small fee.
