Man Of The Match Liverpool 4, Fulham 3:
Share
We need your help to name Liverpool’s man of the match as they claim a ridiculous final win.
It certainly wasn’t the game we all expected, but we ended up with a very nice win against Fulham. In a game that featured just one Liverpool goal, Trent Alexander-Arnold put on a show from start to finish. Although he was only credited with the winning goal, he scored his first goal with a stunning free-kick off the bar and behind the hapless Bernd Leno.
Alexis McAllister hit an absolute rocket from distance for the second goal and caught the ball cleanly. Wataru Endo came off the bench and made his presence felt by scoring the third goal to take the lead and equalise. Mohamed Salah didn’t score today, but he was very involved. He assisted Endo and provided five important assists for the team.
Kostas Tsimikas was responsible for Fulham’s third goal, but other than that he was excellent. He was heavily involved offensively, assisting Trent with four assists and leading the team in tackles. Now tell me how you see it. We’ve narrowed it down to a few players who we believe have performed best for the Reds. Take your pick now and vote for who you think should be man of the match.
Or, tell us in the comments that we made a mistake by not including an actual man of the match in our entry options. As always, if you want to vote by logging into Apple News or Google AMP but can’t see the poll, you can go to the Liverpool Offside front page to download and see the full version. The story starts from there.
