Martin Zubimendi has until Liverpool’s deadline to consent to his move to Anfield

Martin Zubimendi has been extensively connected to Liverpool, and it appears that this week will see the conclusion of the midfielder’s pursuit.
The Spanish international is now the Reds’ top target, and they have informed Real Sociedad of their plans to make a £51 million deal for Zubimendi.
Though Zubimendi hasn’t decided if he even wants to leave Sociedad, Liverpool may be about to encounter a roadblock in their pursuit of the 25-year-old, as a no. 6 is highly valued on Arne Slot’s transfer wish list.
Furthermore, Liverpool has not given Sociedad or Zubimendi a deadline.
Zubimendi has until Wednesday to make a transfer decision, according to Liverpool.
It has been reported by Noticias de Gipuzkoa that Zubimendi has been given by Liverpool until Wednesday to decide whether or not he wants to move to Anfield from his junior team.
Liverpool might have made a stronger effort to sign the midfield player earlier in the transfer window rather than waiting until the very end to sign him, especially since the Premier League season begins this weekend.
However, with the Spanish international obviously undecided about what he believes is best for his career, Liverpool sending an ultimatum to Zubimendi and Sociedad might expedite the process significantly.
Given the amount of success the Basque giants have had recently, Zubimendi is undoubtedly still hesitant to leave his boyhood team for Liverpool; but, in the long run, it would be worthwhile to make the switch to the Premier League.
It’s possible that Zubimendi is aware of the ideal move for his career—to Anfield.
With Zubimendi making the transition from the academy into the seniors, Sociedad is a unique club that holds great significance for individuals who have grown up with the team and gone on to play for the main team.
Having said that, Zubimendi may already be aware that joining Liverpool might be the finest option for his career, which could soar in the Premier League with the Reds after he accomplished so much with Sociedad.
With Sociedad and La Roja, the Spanish international has demonstrated his ability to compete with the finest players in the world; at this point in his career, a move to Liverpool would be appropriate for Zubimendi.
