Mauricio Pochettino suggests he’s seriously considering starting a 21-year-old Chelsea player on Monday.

Cole Palmer might be set to start for Chelsea in a Premier League game for the first time.

Cole Palmer could start for Chelsea when they visit Fulham in the Premier League on Monday, according to Mauricio Pochettino, who revealed this today.

The 21-year-old has only been able to make brief cameos from the bench in league play, but he excelled last week when he started for the Blues in their Carabao Cup victory over Brighton.

As a result, it appears that the attacking midfielder has contributed enough to earn a spot in the Premier League starting lineup.

Palmer might start for Chelsea on Monday for the first time in the Premier League, as Pochettino suggested in the press conference on Friday.

In the Blues side right now, nobody is really tearing up any trees in attack, so Palmer is definitely deserving of a league start.
