Observations from Liverpool's training session: 5 things we saw as Mo Salah and Jurgen Klopp reconciled

Liverpool is currently getting ready to play Tottenham, and a loss might be the end of their chances to win the Premier League in Jurgen Klopp’s final season.

Liverpool resumed training with all eyes on Jurgen Klopp and Mo Salah.

Concerns regarding the two players’ relationship have clouded the Reds’ preparations for their matchup with Tottenham this coming weekend. A heated altercation between Salah and Klopp was captured on camera during the 2-2 tie with West Ham at the London Stadium.

Even though the Liverpool manager is adamant that there isn’t a long-term issue, things haven’t exactly improved. Salah threatened to speak after the match, saying there would be “fire,” and there have been rumours that the Egyptian would leave Anfield. However, because Salah is currently back in training, a few hints might have been revealed. Check out what Mirror Football observed at the Reds’ most recent practice.

Salah is back in the good books.

Salah, who made a fierce impression in East London, appears to be much happy now that he’s back on Merseyside. Salah donned an intense expression at the Reds’ most recent practice before facing Spurs.

That makes sense considering the Egyptian’s explosive goal-scoring history against Spurs. Throughout his 19 career games versus the North London team, the 31-year-old has scored 11 goals.

Salah has scored more goals in his career than any other opponent, even Manchester United. Therefore, following a turbulent week of talks regarding his future, he may be ready to take on the ideal opposition.

It wasn’t just Salah who was upset at the London Stadium. When Klopp argued with his star forward, he also showed signs of frustration.

His attitude probably hasn’t changed after Liverpool lost out on a crucial three points. Now, Klopp looks to be in a much better mood.

The German, who is leaving this summer, had a big smile on his face as they practiced. He also gave himself permission to completely engage in a few of follow-ups with his coaching staff. Even if Liverpool’s injury problems have now improved, Klopp might have been forced to enter the picture if things had gotten much worse.

Bradley is back in training

In relation to injuries, Liverpool may be ready to welcome back a former player. Due to an ankle injury, Conor Bradley, a young right back, has been sidelined since mid-April.

The last three Premier League games he has missed. It was predicted that he may make a comeback against the Spurs, and it appears to be on track.

Bradley was seen participating in the most recent Reds training session. It is unclear if he is healthy enough to be included on Liverpool’s roster, but his comeback is unquestionably beneficial.

Van Dijk absent

Bradley’s return will be welcomed by Klopp, but there may be some questions regarding the availability—or lack thereof—of Virgil van Dijk, the team’s defender. The Dutchman was conspicuously absent from the most recent images.

His absence could have a straightforward explanation, which Klopp would probably hint at in his pregame press conference. However, there must be some uncertainty regarding his fitness for the time being.

This season, the Dutchman has participated in 33 Premier League games with just two absences. If he is out, Liverpool could be in for a very difficult afternoon against Spurs.

The key thing is mentality.

Liverpool has Klopp’s dependable guardians in place. Pep Lijnders, his assistant, is one of his closest buddies.

The Dutchman will depart Anfield at the end of the current campaign, just like Klopp. That does not imply that he is no longer focused on the task at hand.

As Klopp watched from the sidelines, Lijnders was seen lecturing someone over to one side, constantly pointing at his head. His advice might not be entirely incorrect, as Liverpool will require a great deal of daring to salvage their season.
