Pep Guardiola expresses his thoughts on Liverpool’s transfer strategy as a key comparison made.

By contrasting Liverpool’s transfer strategy with that of Premier League rivals, Pep Guardiola has provided his assessment of the club.
Liverpool must exert more effort during the summer transfer window, according to Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola. The Spaniard acknowledges that other teams have made progress in this market beyond what the Reds have.
Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai, who were acquired by Liverpool for a total initial cost of £95 million, are the club’s only two acquisitions to date. James Milner, Naby Keita, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s departures from the midfield meant that Jurgen Klopp had to fill their shoes.
The German, however, has since lost two more skilled options in the park’s center. Both Fabinho and Jordan Henderson have made big-money transfers to the Saudi Pro League.
Guardiola hasn’t been overly active lately. The only notable addition to the squad so far is Mateo Kovacic, but he will soon be joined by his Croatia teammate Josko Gvardiol, who Guardiola confirmed on Friday was undergoing a medical after a deal worth over £77 million was reached with RB Leipzig.
City has the challenge of building off of their treble victory from the previous season going into the new one. The number of teams vying for major awards, in Guardiola’s opinion, will increase.
He mentioned Newcastle and Arsenal as two teams that he feels have improved their starting XIs with summer additions. However, the 52-year-old was being truthful when he said Liverpool still has work to do.
There are numerous teams that will compete for everything, according to Guardiola. We face a very difficult challenge. The challenge is how to develop mentally as a team and play better football.
We will find out over the course of an 11-month period during the tough times how hungry we are and how strong our desire to protect what we have gained. I believe there will be more than ever, so the key is how we handle them.
“Arsenal didn’t add players to the team to make it bigger; they added players for the starting lineup. Newcastle has achieved this. Liverpool is a little bit less, but now that Roberto Firmino and Jordan Henderson are gone, they will once more shop around.
And [Manchester United] does it once more.
“It’s typical.
The teams strive to perform better each season. “.
Liverpool is hoping to sign Romeo Lavia from Southampton. Klopp insisted last weekend that he needs to increase the resources in his midfield.
The midfield needs to be strengthened, he declared. It is obvious that we need to take action. We are developing solutions. “.

Liverpool has already made an £82,000-a-week offer for a creative player worth £34 million.
Liverpool have long been linked to Gabri Veiga, the young Spaniard and Celta Vigo, and now the Reds have made an offer to sign him.
However, the Catalan outlet stressed it would be difficult for the Anfield club to match the €40m, or £34m, release clause.
Now, according to Spanish source, Deportes COPE Galicia (via Estadio Deportivo), Liverpool have made a sizable offer of €25m to attract the midfielder.
To sweeten the deal, the Premier League giants are willing to loan the player to Celta so he can play in La Liga next season.
The loan option would certainly not benefit Jurgen Klopp, who is in desperate need of reinforcements in the center after replacing five midfielders this summer. Veiga is a creative attacking midfielder, who directly contributed to 15 goals (11 goals and 4 assists) last season.
In the last game of the season, he helped his youth club survive relegation by scoring a brace against Spanish champions Barcelona.
He made six appearances at the Under-21 European Championship for Spain, playing 31 minutes in the final against England.
Liverpool could have a good chance of signing Veiga from Celta Vigo as former Anfield boss Rafael Benitez is the Spanish side’s manager.
Rafa sold us a jewel in the form of Philippe Coutinho when he was at Inter and Sturridge when he was at Chelsea.
