Regarding Arne Slot’s Liverpool debut, Jurgen Klopp says, “A lot of things changed”

When Arne Slot succeeded Jurgen Klopp as Liverpool’s head coach, he had big shoes to fill, but Klopp has only been supportive of the new manager.
Forever, Liverpool supporters will value Klopp’s perspective as a now-iconic character in the club’s history.
The German, however, has showered Slot with praise while acknowledging that he has faced some difficult pre-season challenges.
He is anxious not to place undue pressure on his replacement. Klopp stated, “We spoke one or two times [at the start],” in an interview with ESPN.
We may have texted a couple more times, but I can’t tell him anything that he couldn’t find out for himself.
He worked so hard, and I wanted to start by saying that I am a human being and that this is great feedback.
“I am aware of this as the trip is extremely demanding during a year that includes the Euros and Copa (America). The team is not together when they arrive, and there is only one week until the opening matchday and other events.
“So, I believe he was in a comparable circumstance, but was it precisely the same one? Without a doubt not.
I didn’t watch the games to consider how they looked; rather, I watched them because I witnessed the games. That’s all you can say about the coach—his work and ideas were clearly visible.
A remarkable start
Klopp is now a fan of the Reds and was pleased with Liverpool’s performances against Ipswich and in the preseason.
He went on, “That’s extremely nice because I really enjoyed his football when he played with Rotterdam (Feyenoord).
“I saw the preseason friendly between Sevilla and us now. Significant portions of it were excellent, and the league game’s second half was undoubtedly excellent.
“But it doesn’t matter if I like it; you can see he is an excellent coach, and the team—which I now know better than most—is a really wonderful group.
Thus, everything will go pretty smoothly. “I want the club to succeed as much as I want him to succeed. My goal is for the players to succeed.
The changeover
Despite being a prominent figure at Anfield and having sway over the club, Klopp was “really happy when he heard Liverpool were going for Arne Slot” and had no input in the choice of his replacement.
“I was not involved in anything, it should not be like that,” he clarified. I don’t resemble the guy in the background who is still wearing strings and other similar items.
“That’s not what I want; the club is too good and too big.” The folks are excessively intelligent.
“A lot has happened since we left, but I’m just worried about whether they’ll have a competent coach.
“It played a significant role in the decision, and Liverpool was quick to act and found an excellent solution in Arne Slot.”
After Klopp’s last game in May, he called out the incoming coach’s name, which immediately inspired supporters to believe in Slot and that things would get better.
Although the early going is encouraging, Slot’s legacy will not be determined by his performance in the first season, much like Klopp’s. This year is all about positioning the Reds for future dominance.
