Liverpool signing £77million star would be ‘truly amazing’ at Anfield

Liverpool signing £77million star would be 'truly amazing' at AnfieldWhile Liverpool cannot be ruled out, it would certainly be a surprise. It would be a big surprise for Liverpool to sign Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde, reporter Dean Jones told GIVEMESPORT.

It’s no secret that the Reds are targeting midfielders, but the Uruguayan can be a bit difficult to get across.
Transfer news Liverpool – Federico Valverde

After failing to qualify for the Champions League last season, Jurgen Klopp will be desperate for reinforcements to ensure the Merseyside club finish in the top four next season

Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai have already arrived at Anfield to strengthen Liverpool’s midfield but remain in the market for another option.

According to reports in Spain, Liverpool are interested in signing Real Madrid star Valverde, which could cost around £77m.

However, it certainly won’t be easy to convince Madrid to let their midfielder leave the club as Carlo Ancelotti describes him as ‘untouchable’.

Valverde recently spoke publicly about his future and the possibility of a Madrid exit, but the former Penarol star seems happy at the club.

He said: “No, no. I’m in Madrid trying to enjoy every moment and leave my mark at the best club in the world. I want to keep winning titles for Real Madrid fans.”

Now Jones has hinted that although Liverpool are known for their surprises in the transfer market, he is not considering this move. What did Jones say about Valverde?

Jones said that while anything could happen, it would be a shock if they could lure Valverde away from the Bernabeu.

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, he said: “Yes, as I said, Liverpool are simply the best at surprising us in the transfer window, so anything can happen.

It would really be a surprise if they could take Valverde out of Real Madrid. One of their most consistent and reliable in that team.”

Liverpool signing £77million star would be 'truly amazing' at Anfield
Would Valverde be a good signing for Liverpool? Absolute.
As unrealistic as that sounds, he would undoubtedly be a great addition to Anfield.

The 24-year-old averaged a Sofascore of 7.25 in La Liga last season, while also notching seven goals and four assists.

The Uruguayan international also contributed 1.3 key passes per game and created eight big chances.

The addition of Jude Bellingham to Madrid could give Liverpool fans a glimmer of hope that Valverde becomes available at the right price, but you’d think he’d be out of their price range. Where should Liverpool strengthen?

Despite the signing of Mac Allister and Szoboszlai in midfield, one more body could be needed in the middle of the park.

Klopp will not be able to call Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, James Milner and Naby Keita for next season, as all three are out of contract.

That’s three midfielders out of goal, so it might make sense to bring one more.
A long-term replacement for Virgil van Dijk could also be on Klopp’s thoughts as the Dutch defender turns 32 this week.

Erling Haaland is evidence that Dominik Szoboszlai can help Jürgen Klopp unleash an $82 million Liverpool player

Erling Haaland is evidence that Dominik Szoboszlai can help Jürgen Klopp unleash an $82 million Liverpool player.
Darwin Nunez has yet to live up to expectations at Liverpool. However, Jürgen Klopp’s most recent additions might be about to bring out the best in the Uruguayan.

Darwin Nunez will be the first to admit that during his first season at Liverpool, things haven’t exactly gone as he had hoped.

Although the Uruguayan has demonstrated a lot of promise, he hasn’t quite found his footing in Jürgen Klopp’s squad.

However, it was always going to take time.
Nunez was a long-term commitment for Liverpool, and his first season was always going to be difficult because he had never played in England and was still learning the language.

The forward was signed for an initial $82 million (£64 million/€75 million), had never played in England, and was still learning the language.

Every forward won’t go off like Erling Haaland, though.

Even Luis Suárez, a legendary goal scorer for Liverpool and Nunez’s countryman, took a few seasons before he started to really contribute to the team’s goals.

Erling Haaland is evidence that Dominik Szoboszlai can help Jürgen Klopp unleash an $82 million Liverpool player.
Another example is Victor Osimhen, who scored just 10 goals in his debut season at Napoli despite being one of the best forwards in the world right now.

With four assists added in, Nunez’s total of 15 goals is not a bad performance in this regard for the Uruguayan forward.

But it makes sense that he will aim to increase those numbers even further the following season.

And he has the standing to continue doing just that.
Nunez frequently needs time to settle in and make adjustments before he can get going.

In his first season at Benfica and at UD Almera in Spain, he exhibited the same traits.
Nunez’s former coach at Almera, David Badia, gave an interview to Liverpool .
com last season and outlined why he persisted and never gave up in order to start scoring goals for the Spanish team on a regular basis.

Coaches adore players like him because they are open to listening and working, according to Badia.
“People you know are listening when you speak, and they don’t assume they already know everything.

He also strives to become a better player every day.
At Almera, he was seeking advice on how to perform better in training each day.
Naturally, when he missed out on some training exercises, he was unhappy about it and made efforts to change and become better each day.
That will position him well for the upcoming season.

Erling Haaland is evidence that Dominik Szoboszlai can help Jürgen Klopp unleash an $82 million Liverpool player.
Dominik Szoboszlai’s entrance will be one more.
With Trent Alexander-Arnold now on Liverpool’s right side, the Hungarian might be about to unleash the best of Nez in the upcoming campaign.

Szoboszlai is known for his originality and has collaborated with players who are similar to Nez in the past. He combined 12 times at Salzburg with Patson Daka, with whom he formed a terrifying trio alongside Erling Haaland. Christopher Nkunku and Andre Silva received assists at RB Leipzig thanks in large part to Szoboszlai.

For the Hungarian national team, he frequently teamed up with number nine dám Szalai, who was also a tall and athletic forward before retiring earlier this year, to score goals.

When Nez and Haaland traveled to England for large sums of money last summer, comparisons were made that weren’t fair but were nonetheless valid. Szoboszlai is able to identify both as number nines who enjoy slipping into the spaces behind them. Relationships between Szoboszlai and Haaland (and the others) show how much he enjoys having a goalscorer who is that willing to assist him.

Szoboszlai has the potential to help someone like Nez succeed because of his crossing prowess, set-piece specialization, and vision from open space to produce defense-splitting passes. The Hungarian may even be able to bring out the best in Liverpool’s most expensive summer signing by season’s end.

Two of Saudi Arabia’s biggest clubs in talk with Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah over transfer

Two of Saudi Arabia’s biggest clubs in talk with Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah over transfer
Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah is attracting interest from Saudi Arabia as two of the country’s biggest clubs have been in contact with the Egyptian international about a potential move.

The 31-year-old is a hugely popular figure in the Arab world and it would be great for Saudi Arabia to lure the winger into their league this summer amongst the big names they have already signed.

According to Rudy Galetti, both Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal are looking to sign Salah and have already made contact about a transfer.

The journalist told GIVEMESPORT about Saudi Arabia’s interest in the Liverpool star: “He has definitely attracted the attention of Saudi clubs.

Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal are currently the clubs that have shown the most interest in Mohammed Salah . Contacts are ongoing and both clubs are trying to determine if there is room for negotiations.”

Salah has another contract at Anfield until 2025 and the winger is expected to follow. The 31-year-old is still one of Jurgen Klopp’s key players and will want to be part of the rebuild which starts next season.

The Egypt international could one day play in Saudi Arabia but it’s difficult for Salah to make the move anytime soon as there is still a long way to go at Liverpool.

Liverpool star now ‘frustrated’ at Anfield

Liverpool youngster Fabio Carvalho is growing increasingly frustrated with the lack of playing time at Anfield, journalist Dean Jones has told GIVEMESPORT.

The 20-year-old joined Fulham last summer and perhaps expected Jurgen Klopp to give him a bigger chance in the first team.

Since then, Carvalho has started just four Premier League games for the club, playing 347 minutes in total, according to FBref.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano recently told GIVEMESPORT that Bundesliga side RB Leipzig are pushing to sign Carvalho on a permanent basis but Liverpool don’t want to lose full control of the youngster.

Speaking about Carvalho, Klopp revealed he was an ‘amazing’ manager but admitted he was unhappy with his lack of playing time.
    He said:

“It’s not that he’s happy with the situation, but he never gives up. It’s unbelievable. I don’t think that was probably his best ability before he came here. because he was super talented – and he still is – but the character he shows here is extraordinary.”

What did Jones say about Carvalho?
Jones has hinted that Carvalho is frustrated with the way his first year at Anfield has gone. Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, he said:

“There are undoubtedly frustrations on his part in the last year of his career. But I think it goes hand in hand with the decision to leave a newly promoted club for a team like Liverpool, who expect to go and challenge for absolutely everything.

At Anfield, a Liverpool star is suddenly "frustrated with his career."
“You won’t get into that team, you won’t have countless chances, you have to bide your time, you have to impress in training. As a result, Carvalho clearly wonders if there is another way.” out for him.

“If there is any interest from West Ham then they will have to wait a bit as I don’t think a decision is imminent.”

What is Carvalho’s future? As Jones pointed out, West Ham are one of the sides showing interest in Carvalho.
It appears Klopp does not see Carvalho as a first-team regular, so a temporary move from Anfield may be needed to continue his development.

With new signings expected for the Merseyside club, Carvalho could move further down the pecking order, and with interest from the Bundesliga and Premier League there is little reason not to seek out a loan move.

Nicolo Barella might be able to obtain his ideal Liverpool jersey number after the transfer

Nicolo Barella might be able to obtain his ideal Liverpool jersey number after the transfer

Liverpool have long been linked with the transfer of a midfielder from Inter Milan and Italy

Jürgen Klopp has made no secret of his admiration for Nicolo Barella and – in an ideal world – could be the perfect addition to his Liverpool squad.

A box-to-box midfielder with numerous attributes, Barella has long been linked with a move to Anfield as speculation about his future at Inter Milan mounts this summer. That said, there is a complication or two when it comes to a proposed transfer to Liverpool.

After initial plans to target Jude Bellingham were scrapped due to the huge financial cost, price remains an issue.

Even if they decide to capitalize on their star player, Inter would like around £80m for Barella, who still has three years on his contract.

However, reports from Italian publication Il Tempo suggest the figure could actually be closer to €80m (£68m). However, other clubs like Newcastle United are hiding behind his commitment anyway.

Another point to consider is that Liverpool are not securing their place in the Champions League.

Nicolo Barella might be able to obtain his ideal Liverpool jersey number after the transfer
However, the Reds still have enormous power and if all goes to plan their ban from Europe’s top competition will only last 12 months if they finish in the top four again next season.

Perhaps the biggest problem comes from the player itself. Inter are said to be ‘open’ to a sale but conflicting reports suggest Barella is ‘happy’ with the San Siro and has no intention of leaving the club.

This is where Klopp and his public admiration could come in. Depending on the financial means, the 26-year-old would obviously be welcomed with open arms at Anfield.

Should he ever land, a dream jersey number awaits – with a little catch. Barella currently wears Inter’s number 23 and has worn it since arriving from Cagliari three summers ago.

Of course, that particular shirt is currently worn by Luis Diaz, but there’s a chance the Colombian will decide to switch to the club’s legendary No.7 after James Milner dropped him when he left. Other team numbers now available include: 8, 9, 12, 15, 16, 24 and 25 – plus other options in the 30s and 40s.
