Jarell Quansah ‘will progress forward’ for Liverpool

Jarell Quansah, a defender for Liverpool, has been called a “fantastic” talent by Courtney Sweetman-Kirk.

The Sky Sports analyst was monitoring Thursday night’s Europa League match between Union SG and the Reds.

Liverpool was defeated 2-1 in Belgium, despite having already won Group E before the game.

A youthful Liverpool team was selected by Jurgen Klopp, who also handed them a challenging matchup against a formidable USG squad.

One of the Anfield team’s best players was Quansah. The hosts had taken the lead before the 20-year-old tied the score with his first goal for Liverpool.

When Quansah finally broke through for Liverpool in the 39th minute of the game, it was from a Curtis Jones corner kick. Quansah had been rejected by VAR in the team’s defeat to Toulouse.

The Liverpool academy product performed admirably on defence as well, stopping multiple opposing attacks by winning a lot of headers and dominating one-on-ones.

    Sweetman-Kirk

Between 2018 and 2020, Sweetman-Kirk was a player for Liverpool, and she was impressed with Quansah that evening.

You may claim that some of them aren’t prepared. But occasionally, you have to see it in a competitive setting,” she stated on Sky Sports News.

However, Quansah has excelled. He is undoubtedly one of the players who will advance.

Quansah seems to be the next in line for Liverpool, who have a fantastic history of developing gifted youth talents into well-established first-team stars.

The defender has now made 12 appearances for the senior Reds, scoring one goal and providing an assist. I hope there be a lot more this season and in the future.

Declaring in September that the 20-year-old is a “fantastic” player who had a “super” pre-season, Klopp addressed the Liverpool media team.

He said he will continue to choose him, and history has shown that to be true.

Following the Liverpool transfer snubs, Jurgen Klopp fires Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia.

Both Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia were signed by Chelsea during the summer transfer window, but Reds manager Jurgen Klopp isn’t sleeping well over losing out.

According to Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool was “lucky” not to sign Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia to Chelsea.

Liverpool had targeted both Lavia and Caicedo in the summer transfer window, but the midfield pair—then of Southampton and Brighton, respectively—ended up in West London for a combined £173 million. Wataru Endo, a relatively unknown Stuttgart star, was signed by Klopp’s team for a meagre £15 million in order to strengthen their defensive midfield options. Having made an impression thus far, the 30-year-old Japanese international is more than satisfied with the outcome.

When questioned about developing “Liverpool 2.0” this season, Klopp laughed with the crowd about missing out on some goals during a Q&A session in front of Liverpool supporters on Monday while their extended Anfield Road End stand was tested. “The summer we had with a few strange things happen in the transfer market but here between us I can say, ‘My god, we were lucky’,” said the German.

Hakan Calhanoglu is being pursued by West Ham United, Chelsea, and Liverpool. Hakan Calhanoglu, 29, of Inter Milan, is a midfield player that Chelsea, Liverpool, and West Ham United would all love to have on their team. A report from Calciomercato claims that West Ham United, Chelsea, and Liverpool are all interested in hiring Hakan Calhanoglu. Since joining Inter Milan, the 29-year-old has been performing admirably, and his outstanding efforts have not gone unnoticed. Prior to joining Inter Milan in the summer of 2021, Calhanoglu was a member of AC Milan. Since joining Inter, he has only become better. The club's defensive midfielder has made appearances in 112 games and has helped contribute to 41 goals. Over the years, the Turkish international has played every position on the pitch. In his early years, the 29-year-old playmaker was frequently spotted on the wings or up top, but at this point in his career, he likes to play as a holding midfielder or a central midfielder. With more than three years remaining on his contract, he has been a vital member of Inter Milan's first team in recent seasons. Nevertheless, he might have to leave them in the summer of next year as Premier League teams try to sign him. Even though Liverpool added a lot of midfield players over the summer, their transformation is far from finished. With his expertise, Calhanoglu may be a wonderful match as a deep-lying playmaker. They need another defensive midfielder. Chelsea may be concentrating on acquiring young athletes with enormous potential. To maintain order, they do require some experience among their ranks. Despite having a number of defensive midfielders already, they may still want to sign Calhanoglu because of his versatility in both attacking and centre midfield roles. West Ham United, meanwhile, has long been a fan of the 29-year-old. They intended to sign him as Lucas Paquetà's replacement throughout the summer. The Brazilian ultimately decided to remain at the London club, and the Inter midfielder's singing was abandoned. The Hammers will seek Calhanoglu, and an offer of about €50 million might get them there regardless of what happens with Paqueta next summer. Even though Inter would prefer to hang onto their star, their financial difficulties are still present. Also, since he was a free agent when he signed with them in the past, his departure might enable them to make a tidy profit.

“To be honest, we were unaware of that at the time and didn’t realise it. However, I am rather pleased with how things turned out. You never know how things can turn out.”

The captain Jordan Henderson, Fabinho, and veteran James Milner were among the five central midfielders Klopp had to cope with during the summer. “I had an extremely good feeling before we started pre-season,” Klopp continued. “We already had Macca [Alexis Mac Allister] and Dom [Szoboszlai] already in and then we knew there was a chance for Ryan [Gravenberch].”

“Then, it became evident to us that other central defensive midfield players were unwilling to join Liverpool. Well, you get the picture. Next, we discovered Endo. Unquestionably, he is an outstanding player

Moments you might not have seen in Saturday’s Premier League clash between Liverpool and Wolves

Liverpool continued their impressive start to the Premier League season by coming from behind to win against Wolves on Saturday.

Hwang Hee-Chan put the hosts ahead, but in the second half the Reds came back strongly with Cody Gakpo, Andy Robertson and a Hugo Bueno own goal to secure a 3-1 victory.

The result means Jurgen Klopp’s men extended their unbeaten run in the league to 16 games after a strong end to last season.

But there was plenty that went unnoticed or under the radar during the 90 minutes at Molineux.

Klopp made it clear after the match that he found it hard to believe what he saw as Liverpool stumbled in the first half with an incredibly poor performance.

But his displeasure became evident during a break before half-time when the Reds coach called Joel Matip, one of several players in trouble, to the touchline.

Keyword: Klopp makes a wild gesture towards the central defender and throws a few pointed phrases at him. Given the progress of the second half, the message was clearly sent

    Quansah serenades

It was Liverpool’s first senior start for Jarell Quansah, who was thrown in at the deep end because Ibrahima Konate was not fit enough to start after missing the last few weeks with a muscle problem.

But the 20-year-old was probably the Reds’ most impressive defender, especially in the first half, until he succumbed to injury in the final quarter.

Wolves fans were increasingly frustrated that the youngster fell twice, forcing Quansah to limp as chants of “w**ker” echoed across much of Molineux.
Welcome to the Premier League, Jarell.

Little did Harvey Elliott know that he would ultimately be denied the third goal as he rushed into the away camp to celebrate, earning himself and Curtis Jones a yellow card.

It took some time to extract Elliott from the jubilant Kop, where the home stewards were assisted by one or two of his teammates.

Finally, Konaté, who then wrote a message to the teenager on Instagram: “You needed more security, so I came!”

Klopp was in a much happier mood than the last time he sat in the Molineux press conference room after a match in February.

So much so that the Reds boss was only too happy to oblige when he asked the polite boy for his autograph before reminding the polite boy to pick up his pen again.

The ECHO lined up for the first question of the press conference and then Klopp said: “It’s only going to get worse from here on!” Which, to be honest, isn’t the first time we’ve done this.

‘Someone that I’ve respected,’ admits the £50 million Chelsea player about the Liverpool star

'Someone that I've respected,' admits the £50 million Chelsea player about the Liverpool star.

Ben Chilwell, a defender for Chelsea, says he respects Andy Robertson, a star player for Liverpool.

The 29-year-old was recently listed as one of the top five full-backs in the Premier League by Ben Chilwell.

The England international said, in a statement to the Premier League’s official website, “Over the last few years, as a left-back, I’ve respected him and I’ve seen what he’s done at Liverpool.
And he has numerous awards from that venue, so he will be my fourth choice.

Knowing that Chilwell has a lot of time for Robertson is not surprising.

Of course, both players are left-backs, with the former serving as an example for all left-backs.

Since moving to Liverpool from Hull City in 2017, he has been a huge success for the Merseyside club, contributing to their numerous victories, including the Premier League and Champions League.

Another illustration would be Ben Chilwell.

Also a competent left-back is Chilwell, who Chelsea paid £50 million to acquire from Leicester City.

The 26-year-old is not currently playing there for the Blues for whatever reason. But when he does, partnering with Reece James on the other flank, he offers a lot to the team going forward, as you would anticipate from a contemporary full-back.

Chilwell is completing 2.3 key passes per league game, which is the second-highest average in Mauricio Pochettino’s team (only Enzo Fernandez is making more (2.8)), according to WhoScored.

Even though the former Leicester player now plays further forward, the aforementioned example still demonstrates his ability to spark an attack.

Nevertheless, given all of Chilwell’s attacking talent, it would be surprising if Pochettino continued to play him on the left wing for the remainder of the season

Thiago Alcantara, Nicolo Barella, Manu Kone, Andre Trindade, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and other players have been the subject of recent Liverpool transfer news, rumors, gossip, and speculation.

The first match of the European season is on Thursday in Austria against LASK, who have gone unbeaten in eight games overall.

The aftermath of the summer transfer window is still being felt.

The Athletic Club attacker Nico Williams is rumored to be moving to Anfield by the Spanish media, but his club’s president is hoping to tie him to a new contract.

High praise has also been given to recent performances by Tyler Morton and Dominik Szoboszlai.

Jarell Quansah is applauded for his debut.

Jarell Quansah deserves praise for his excellent performance on Saturday, especially in the first half, given the challenging circumstances.

The captain, Andy Robertson, even said that Liverpool let him down in the first half, demonstrating how much he clearly impressed his senior team members.

He said, “Excellent from the big man.

“When there are seasoned players nearby, you probably look for help more, but I don’t believe many of us assisted him in the first half.
He was very confident, did his defending very well, and then on the ball he was cool and collected.”

We tried to protect him, but I think collectively we weren’t as strong in the first half.

“He has a bright future ahead of him, but the here and now is pretty good too, and for him to step in at a really tough place to come, a really tough team to play against, and to put in that performance, particularly in the second half, then fair play to him for his first start.

Let me know in the comments below if you would start Quansah on Thursday against LASK.

Darwin Nunez is Making an impact for Liverpool.

Accepting Darwin Nunez is to accept chaos.

If Darwin can improve his goal-scoring prowess, Liverpool will have a very valuable asset on their hands.
But could Darwin stand to evolve a little bit more?

He turned and ran at the home side to create openings and provided his trademark unpredictableness, which I thought had a great impact against Wolves.

However, this tweet highlights the specific elements of his game that are currently lacking.

Liverpool next fixtures – and how they compare to rivals

The Reds’ season has certainly gotten off to a great start, don’t you think?

Four victories in five games, plenty of goals, and (with three of those victories coming from behind positions) character in action.

There seems to be a growing belief that Liverpool will fight back and can challenge Man City once more.

Here are Liverpool’s upcoming games, and the schedule that they will play.

    West Ham. (H)

    Spurs. (A)

    Boston (A).

    Manchester United (H).

    Forest Nottingham (H).

Those three home games appear to be winnable, but they will be challenging for various reasons.
But if Liverpool wins both of its away games, that will be a real declaration of intent.
Brighton looks fantastic once again this season, and Spurs have gotten off to a great start.

Tyler Morton makes an impact on his debut for Liverpool.

Tyler Morton, a Liverpool loanee who made an impressive debut during Friday’s draw with Coventry City, received high praise from Hull City manager Liam Rosenior.

Aaron Connolly’s equalizer was assisted by Morton, who entered the game as a second-half substitute. Rosenior was quick to compliment the 20-year-old after the game.

“Tyler came on (and was excellent).
He hasn’t played because of a minor injury, according to his new manager, who spoke to Hull Live in response.
“When he came on, I thought he was magnificent.

“He demonstrated a great deal of class and quality, kept us on the ball, displayed courage, and demonstrated why we worked so hard to bring him to the club.
The reason we took so long to bring him in was made clear by that 30-minute performance.

He is definitely not physically fit.
Whichever of my three midfielders, Tyler, Regan (Slater), and Mika (Jean Michael Seri), starts, we’ll have quality.
Tyler is a superb young athlete who declined offers from many clubs to play for us.
He is extremely happy to be here.

The most recent Mohamed Salah transfer: Harvey Elliott wants the Reds’ star to remain.

Harvey Elliott, a midfielder for Liverpool, expressed his desire to have Mohamed Salah stay with the club “for the rest of his career,” and believes that the Egyptian still doesn’t receive the credit he merits.

The Reds extended their impressive start to their Premier League campaign with a 3-1 victory over Wolves on Saturday lunchtime thanks to two assists from Salah for Cody Gakpo and Andy Robertson.

With 13 points out of a possible 15, the win briefly put them atop the standings, and Salah was on the verge of recording a hat-trick of assists after supplying Elliott with the goal that Hugo Bueno at Molineux was officially credited with conceding.

Although Salah has only scored twice so far this season, he has provided up to four assists for his teammates, bringing his total assists since the start of last season to 16, which is tied for the most in the division with Kevin De Bruyne of Manchester City.

Al-Ittihad made a remarkable offer to buy the 31-year-old in recent weeks, valued at up to £150 million.

Fenway Sports Group president Mike Gordon flatly rejected the offer, but the Saudi Pro League champions are expected to come back later.

Elliott claims he will make an effort to persuade Salah to continue playing for Merseyside and feels his teammate isn’t given enough credit for his artistic abilities.

Elliott said, “Touch wood he never leaves, but if he does then I want to be that person to learn from him and apply it in my game.
“I hope he stays, as I said, and stays here for the rest of his career.
I’ll do my best to keep him, but for everyone on the team, it’s a dream come true to work alongside him and learn from him.

The failure of Nico Williams as president of the Athletic Club reveals his goals.

When his contract with Athletic Club expires next summer, the exciting attacker Nico Williams may choose to move to Liverpool, according to Spanish media.

The most recent Marca report deals a blow to this theory, though.

This is due to Jon Uriarte, president of the La Liga team, saying that the 21-year-old’s contract should be extended

He asserted that Nico, along with his mother, family, Inaki, and other members, were content in Bilbao.

“They adore our project and Athletic. We are collaborating with both parties to allow him to remain.”
