Watch the amazing timeline of the Anfield Road expansion from 2021 to 2023.

Anfield are just months away from unveiling their brand new look and the nearly two-year expansion schedule is a fascinating sight.Jurgen Klopp’s groundbreaking ceremony at the end of September 2021 kicked off Anfield Road’s latest extension, a project that will take the stadium’s capacity to over 61,000.
What was once a car park and fan zone is now an impressive stand which, at 39 meters high, adds to the already incredible skyline.

Progress may have been gradual from the initial groundwork to the present day, but a timeline of aerial work shows just how impressive the renovation has been.In the This Is Anfield video you can see how dramatically the landscape has changed and how big the new Anfield Road End is.
The 300 ton roof truss proved to be a milestone in July 2022, requiring two 600 ton cranes at a height of 164 meters for its easy assembly.

It stood on the existing structure and was ready for the construction of the new roof before the old one was demolished at the end of the 2022/23 season.Today, the new upper level is structurally complete after the removal of the old upper level and the installation of solar panels on the new roof.
The new pitch is to be moved next week. The construction time is only three days and will require a three week wait before it is operational.

The internal work is ongoing and although there is still work to be done for the Buckingham Group contractors, Liverpool are still planning their first home game against Bournemouth on August 19.It won’t be long before the transformation is complete, but the progress so far is even clearer thanks to the progress timeline from 2021 to 2023.

The “disrespectful” player is considering staying with Chelsea, but Pochettino wants him to leave.

Romelu Lukaku is now open to the idea of staying at Chelsea, but Mauricio Pochettino has other ideas.
This was stated by Marco Conterio of Tutto Mercato Web.What’s the latest on Chelsea and Romelu Lukaku? We see…
What’s the story?
Well, the Belgian caused quite a stir at Stamford Bridge this week. A report from Corriere dello Sport has said that Lukaku is ready to hire lawyers to talk to Todd Boehly about a move from Chelsea to Inter Milan.
The Italian giants are keen on securing another loan deal, although Conterio believes Chelsea are unwilling to consider another temporary move.
There’s an offer from Saudi Arabia on the table but the 30-year-old doesn’t see any interest in it.
It was even said that Lukaku will “beat his first players on the table” to force an exit.
That seems to have upset Pochettino. Conterio explains how Lukaku is now demonstrating a willingness to stay in West London as a return to Inter looks unlikely.
However, according to the Italian journalist, Pochettino has “other ideas”, suggesting that he is not interested in reinstating the Belgian international.
Al-Ahli has since improved its bid to sign Lukaku and is said to be more considering a move to Saudi Arabia.
Lukaku should leave Chelsea
Hopefully something stands between Al-Ahli and Lukaku as the striker has to leave Chelsea: he has burned bridges.
Ally McCoist said on talkSPORT that Pochettino should get rid of the Antwerp-born striker to ensure a positive dressing room environment next season, adding that Lukaku’s heart doesn’t appear to be with Chelsea after that famous Inter Milan interview in 2021.
Graeme Souness even called the Belgian ‘disrespectful’ after hearing the remarkable comments.
Lukaku could do well under Pochettino next season, but with young talents like Armando Broja, Christopher Nkunku and new Nicolas Jackson in the Argentina attack, it’s time to develop the 30-year-old.

Liverpool prepared for Mohamed Salah blow as rivals prepare for January exit

Tottenham Hotspur have suffered a similar blow to what Liverpool expect with Mohamed Salah midway through next seasonLiverpool rivals Tottenham Hotspur are at risk of losing talisman Son Heung-min midway through next season as he is set to feature in the 2023 AFC Asian Cup.
The tournament, which was due to be held in China this summer, suffered setbacks due to the host country’s Covid-19 issues.
Last year, the decision was made to postpone the tournament and then move it to recent World Cup hosts Qatar. The dates were finally confirmed earlier in 2023.
As reported by football.london, the striker’s first group stage game against South Korea will take place on Monday January 15, with the final taking place on Saturday February 10.
During this window, depending on when players are released for international play, and in North London due to his club’s FA Cup and Carabao Cup success, Son could miss up to seven domestic matches.

This will give any of the club’s Premier League rivals a boost in the race for the title and European qualification, although in Liverpool’s case it would only serve to level the playing field. as the Reds face the same crisis with Mohamed Salah, one of their own teams. Two seasons ago, Salah – then with Sadio Mane – dealt a double blow to Jurgen Klopp’s plans when he was called up for selection at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Both reached the final with their respective nations, with the Egyptian king desperate after a penalty shootout defeat and missing a total of six club games in all competitions.
Next year’s AFCON will take place over a slightly longer period than the Asian Cup, starting on Saturday January 13 and ending on Sunday February 11.
During this time, Salah could miss up to 10 Liverpool matches, including crucial Premier League clashes with Chelsea and Arsenal and both legs of a potential Carabao Cup semi-final.
If Liverpool and Spurs each lose their prized possession for as long as possible, it would be a major blow to both clubs’ goals to bounce back from the disappointing 2022/23 seasons.

After Klopp “rejected derisory” permanent transfer offer, Liverpool player “finalizes” Bundesliga loan

Liverpool youngster Fabio Carvalho was reportedly set to complete his loan move to Bundesliga side RB Leipzig after Jurgen Klopp “refused” a permanent departure. The Premier League giants signed the 20-year-old from Fulham last year for a fee of around £7.7m.
Carvalho impressed in the early stages of the 2022-23 season when he scored a late winner against Newcastle United, but his debut season at Liverpool was a struggle overall.
The Portuguese Under-21 international has been limited to just four Premier League appearances and Klopp admitted the 2022/23 season “wasn’t the best year for Carvalho”.
“I think there is a possibility that Fabio goes on loan or something. We will see. The fact is that for Fabio it was clearly not the best year of his career, even though it was a very young career, but it could have been his most important,” Klopp said.
“No player has impressed me as much as Fabio, that’s the truth. Because this very talented boy came here with big dreams and high expectations, it was fine at the start but it didn’t work out in the end. .
RB Leipzig quickly emerged as a potential suitor for Carvalho and Liverpool turned down a “ridiculous” standing offer from the German side last month.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano now reports that Carlvalho will ‘move’ to RB Leipzig and a ‘buy option’ will not be included in the deal.He added: “Negotiations are being finalized as the deal will be signed next week, but the overall deal has been confirmed.
“A loan deal was the only solution as Klopp and Liverpool have rejected any offers for a permanent deal.”A report from Football Insider, meanwhile, adds: “Carvalho is closing in on a season-long move to RB Leipzig.”
Liverpool reportedly “refused an offer of more than £10m from Leipzig before the end of the season” and they were initially hoping he would agree to a loan deal to another Premier League side.

West Ham, Brentford and Burnley have asked for Carvalho, but his preference was for RB Leipzig.
Former Premier League striker Gabby Agbonlahor believes the Liverpool star should join the Hammers.
“If I were Carvalho, I would go to West Ham to play there,” Agbonalhor told Football Insider.“When Fulham got promoted a few seasons ago and Carvalho decided to join Liverpool, it was never the right decision because he wouldn’t get playing time.
“But now he needs a Premier League loan to show he’s good enough to compete in the division.
“He shouldn’t leave the Premier League and go somewhere else. “I think he’s a top player but he would never have had a chance at Liverpool and I think Liverpool have a lot of players in the position they like to play in so West Ham would be a good move.”

“We did incredible things together,” Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane said in an homage to Roberto Firmino.

Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane reflect on the unforgettable success they shared with Roberto Firmino in the closing episode of LFC Original “Bobby”.Having joined forces as a trio when Salah followed Firmino and Mane to Anfield in 2017, they have gone on to become one of the most prolific attacking duos in the club’s history.
He led Jürgen Klopp’s side to the front row, scoring a total of 338 goals in five consecutive seasons. Trophies of the Carabao Cup.
In the third and final episode of Bobby, our brand new series which tells the story of Firmino’s remarkable rise before his departure this summer, Salah and Mane detail their appreciation of the number 9 they have flanked to such incredible effect .
“I think it’s his ability to give everything in the game and also to sacrifice himself for the team,” says Salah.
“He just plays for the team. He doesn’t care much about scoring, he just wants to enjoy his game and play football and he wants the team to win.”
“I think he’s one of those [who] is loved the most, because everyone likes him. He’s very calm, he’s always smiling. And as I said before, when you see someone who sacrifices himself for the team, you see that everyone here loves him. ” .”
Mane, who split from the club last summer, says: “I think we’ve done some amazing things together. I am so grateful. I think Bobby is a special player. For me, wow, what a number 9”.The Senegalese forward continues: “As a person I think he is the most positive man.
“I learned a lot from him personally, because sometimes when I’m not playing, on the bench or whatever, he knows me. He tells me to stay calm, he knows me… Stay calm, positive, no problem. This kind of person is not easy to find… I learned a lot from him on and off the pitch.
“He has the ability to turn the ball easily, doesn’t always play the back pass, he always tries to find solutions. I think he changed everything.
Together the trio punished defense both domestically and across Europe – and became a force to be feared and revered in the game.
All three have earned a treasured place in club folklore and to conclude his tribute to Firmino, Salah highlights the legacy left by the Brazilian during his eight years on Merseyside.
“[He will be remembered as] awesome,” No. 11 concludes.“He will be one of the best players to ever play for Liverpool.”
“He won the Premier League and the Champions League and all the trophies. He has won everything with the club and is one of the best to ever play for Liverpool.”Read also…….
Jorg Schmadtke needs to address Liverpool’s escalating Trent Alexander-Arnold issue.

New Liverpool transfer boss Jörg Schmadtke has to resolve an issue over Trent Alexander-Arnold.Liverpool and new sporting director Jörg Schmadtke will be busy finding new signings to bolster Jurgen Klopp’s squad, but they also have a looming problem with Trent Alexander-Arnold. The Englishman has shone as a midfielder for club and country in recent months, underlining how important he is to his club in multiple roles.
He operated in a more traditional midfield position under Gareth Southgate, but for his club Alexander-Arnold moved from right-back to play alongside Fabinho – while Curtis Jones and Jordan Henderson were given more freedom to play.
‘offensive. New signing Alexis Mac Allister is set to make up a big part of Klopp’s midfield next season, further aided by the arrival of Alexander-Arnold. However, the 24-year-old has to make a decision on his long-term future with just two years left on his current contract.
If the Reds fail to tie him down to a new contract within the next 12 months, clubs will be lurking in the background, growing confident they can steer him away from Anfield.
One issue could perhaps be his salary, as Alexander-Arnold currently earns £180,000 a week but is expected to be paid at least £200,000 a week, on par with top earners like Virgil van Dijk and Thiago.
Liverpool fans have expressed their displeasure that current owner Fenway Sports Group is reluctant to splash the cash as it remains to be seen whether a record deal for Alexander-Arnold will come in a season without the financial help that comes with it. to play with the champions. high on the agenda would be the league.
Athletic have claimed Alexander-Arnold will be the priority outgoing players in 2025, a list which includes Mohamed Salah, Van Dijk and Henderson, but there is currently no urgency to start talks over an extension.

With Schmadtke only in a short-term role over the summer, with an option to extend if all parties believe the partnership is fruitful, there is a chance he will focus on short-term goals for the current open window rather than long-term ambitions like tying Alexander-Arnold to a new contract. The full-back’s new role revitalized him at a time when he was worried about his defensive frailties, but if there were any doubts that Liverpool could have been better off without him, Alexander-Arnold quickly put them to bed with recent performances: how he impressed Reds team-mate Andy Robertson.
“Trent is Trent and that’s the biggest compliment I can pay him,” the Scotland captain told Sky Sports. “He fits everything you ask him.
He’s still relatively young, but he’s got a wise head on his shoulders and I think when you’re so technically gifted, you’ve got so many skills, you’ve got so much talent.
Then you can play in any position and it would come from the best and most importantly he has that aggression and that will to succeed – and I think you’ve seen it.

According to the new UEFA rules, Liverpool will be eligible for the Champions League if they finish fifth.

Due to a significant UEFA rule change, Liverpool can now qualify for the Champions League if they finish fifth the following season. The Reds finished fifth in the most recent Premier League season, so they will have to make do with Europa League competition in the upcoming season.
Even though Jurgen Klopp’s team went on a fantastic unbeaten streak at the end of the league season, winning seven of their final ten games, it wasn’t enough to pass Manchester United or Newcastle.
Two Premier League teams, United and Newcastle, will participate in the final Champions League in its current format before the competition is redesigned.
The other two Premier League teams are Manchester City and Arsenal. There won’t be a traditional group stage for the 2024–2025 season as the number of participating teams increases from 32 to 36.
Instead, the clubs will compete in a single league phase, in which they will face eight opponents in four home games and four away games.
The top eight teams will then advance to the round of 16, and the teams that place ninth through sixteenth will compete in a play-off round. There won’t be any changes to the remaining knockout round.

Additionally, Liverpool and other Premier League teams may experience significant effects from the new format. Why a UEFA rule change might have an impact on Liverpool and other Premier League clubs.
UEFA will change the rules to provide new opportunities for qualifying so that there will be four extra teams in the 2024–25 season.
The two European countries with the best results from the previous campaign will automatically qualify.
English clubs should take note of this because, depending on how well England and Italy perform in 2022–2023, they will each receive an additional Champions League qualification spot.
While West Ham defeated Fiorentina in the Europa Conference League final, Manchester City defeated Inter Milan in the Champions League final. Roma, meanwhile, advanced to the Europa League final but fell to Sevilla of Spain.
Since English clubs have recently dominated European football, Klopp’s team would be able to finish fifth next season and still almost certainly guarantee Champions League football. However, the change does not affect Liverpool for the current campaign.

Liverpool was ordered to spend £15 million to acquire a “world-class” wonderkid before Real Madrid.
In spite of Real Madrid’s current interest, Liverpool has reportedly been told they can sign Fenerbahce wonderkid Arda Guler if they activate his €17.5 million (£15.9 million) release clause. As reported by AS, the young talent will only be permitted to leave Turkey this summer if a club exercises his £15 million exit clause. Liverpool is just one of many teams interested in signing Guler, who has exploded onto the European scene this season.
Target Scouting has praised Guler as a “world-class” prospect, and Liverpool are now keeping an eye on the 18-year-old winger after he recently scored for Turkey against Wales in Euro 2024 qualifying. Guler has garnered a lot of praise this season for his impressive performances for Fenerbahce.
Given his youth, Guler is undoubtedly on the path to becoming one of the best players in Europe with six goals and seven assists for Fener last season across all competitions. And with the release clause set at £15 million, Liverpool may now find themselves in a position to sign the young player.
However, if Los Blancos push hard enough to bring the 18-year-old wonderkid to Spain in the upcoming weeks, Liverpool may find it extremely difficult to lure the Turkish winger to Anfield due to Madrid’s interest in him.
If Madrid makes an offer, Liverpool might have trouble acquiring Guler.
Guler’s talent seems to have no limits; at this rate, the winger will soon rank among the most thrilling athletes in all of Europe. Liverpool, however, may be unable to sign the Fenerbahce star if Madrid initiates contact with the player too soon.
Indeed, Madrid is not averse to making significant financial investments in young athletes whom the team believes are deserving of playing for the first team. And if Liverpool goes through with a move, the La Liga team might significantly outmuscle them given how impressive Guler has been over the past 12 months.

Dream Liverpool team in 2026: Trent Alexander-Arnold decision ,Virgil van Dijk signed

Liverpool have a lot of work to do this summer, but the transfer matters to be completed won’t end there. Jurgen Klopp still has a few big years ahead of him.Liverpool have a lot to think about during the summer transfer window, but these times are never isolated. For example, if the Reds were to sign a defender this summer, it would be before the likely departure of Joël Matip in 2024.
Similarly, the types of midfielders arriving this summer should factor in long-term thinking, with Jordan Henderson and Thiago not rejuvenating with the latter losing his contract in 12 months.
With Jurgen Klopp linked to a new contract until 2026, the German will be the leitmotif of the next transition period at Anfield, with Liverpool continuing to plan for the future.
Looking at 2026 as the point in time, we’re sure Klopp will be in the lead until—and hopefully beyond if he so desires—what other big decisions lie in wait for the next two seasons?
Thiago and Matip could leave next summer, as mentioned, unless one of the two gets an extension, and next year there are several big names on the verge of an extension.
Henderson, who will turn 35 in 2025, will therefore be out of contract, as will Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Kostas Tsimikas and Mohamed Salah.
Alexander-Arnold will obviously receive a new contract and could even become captain at that point (if he hasn’t become a full-time midfielder by then, the captaincy role seems even more defined at some point).

Meanwhile, Van Dijk turns 34 this summer – he’s still young enough to be a defender, but he should probably reduce his workload by then. At that point, it will be necessary to find a successor at the beginning of the transition.
Salah is the other big name on that descendant list, with a big decision looming near the end of next season as to what to do with him. It took a long time to accept his previous extension and Liverpool don’t want another story.
He’s turning 33, but he’s still showing no signs of letting up. But like Van Dijk, in 2026 it will be necessary to find a player who can eventually replace the Egyptian, so at least the transition period could have begun.
Fabinho, Andy Robertson and Ibrahima Konaté will all be eligible for contracts by 2026. The Brazilian has already shown some shaky signs in terms of fitness last season, while Robertson will be 32. Konaté will be 27 years old and in his prime.
In short, once the reconstruction of the midfield has been arranged, more important decisions will have to be made later. Alisson Becker will turn 33 in 2026 and is under contract until next year, but plenty of other big calls loom.
Alexis Mac Allister will be just 27, Curtis Jones 25 and Harvey Elliott 23. Stefan Bajčetić will be just 21 and Ben Doak will somehow be just 20. Darwin Núñez and Cody Gakpo will be 27 that summer, but Diogo Jota and Luis Díaz will approaches 30 years.
Most of the squad are young enough now that they are still good options to go three years from now, but key players like Van Dijk and Salah will need more management and replacements lined up early.
There will be plenty of transfer activity at Liverpool this summer, but in the short term it will be necessary to be more proactive and stay one step ahead before such drastic action is needed to replace the most irreplaceable stars.

Khephren Thuram and Manu Kone, along with other transfer targets, have access to the Liverpool jersey numbers.

Khephren Thuram and Manu Kone are controlled by Jurgen Klopp and his recruiting teamKhephren Thuram and Manu Kone remain in the spotlight and it could still take a few weeks for Liverpool’s two summer goals.
Having kicked off their recruitment campaign by signing Alexis Mac Allister on a free transfer, the Reds want at least one more midfielder to bolster their squad for the 2023/24 season.
Thuram and Kone are under scrutiny as Jurgen Klopp and his recruiting team pursue a younger profile for their next signing.
For those unfamiliar with the two French starlets, or Ryan Gravenberch and Gabri Veiga, there is a chance to see them do their job this summer at the ongoing European Under-21 Championships taking place in Romania and Georgia. The tournament lasts until mid-July.
Thuram and Kone came on for Les Bleus on Thursday night as they headed to a controversial 2-1 win against Italy, which saw VAR – and for once a lack of such technology – take center stage in the dying minutes .
As long as they had no connection to the Italian team, the most important thing for the Liverpool fans who watched the action via the UEFA website was the performance of Thuram and Kone. Overall, Kone was fantastic while Thuram showed one or two nice glimpses of his undisputed talent.
Of course, he’s sparked debate about their respective futures, and one look at social media was enough to show just how high they both stand on the red side of this famous footballing city. However, with a golden opportunity to showcase themselves, there will be no shortage of other candidates.
However, should the Reds sign either or both, there are some tempting squad numbers available to snap up their proposed arrivals at Anfield, even after Mac Allister landed the vacant number 10 which was not allocated by the club after Sadio Mane joined Bayern Munich.
Outgoing foursome James Milner (7), Naby Keita (8), Roberto Firmino (9) and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have four options left on the hook, although there could be internal calls for those jerseys. Other tracks currently available include; 12, 16, 24, 25, 30 and 31 along with further options in the 30s and 40s.

Liverpool may receive a £37.7 million boost transfers as five potential deals surface.

Income dominates Liverpool’s landscape, but five could be used to shore up the transfer budgetEarnings are key at Anfield as Liverpool look for new faces to join Alexis Mac Allister.
Four senior players have departed, with Roberto Firmino, James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita all leaving Merseyside. Goals have been outlined by the Reds and multiple names continue to be associated with a move.
Khephren Thuram is one of them, as are Gabri Veiga and Ryan Gravenberch. But if one of these tied players arrives, you may need to make room with additional spending.
Last season, Sadio Mane made a high profile departure from Merseyside when he decided to move to Bayern Munich. It doesn’t look like we’ll see any shocks when it comes to an Anfield exit, but some could be introduced on the fringes.
Caoimhin Kelleher – £10 million

The Republic of Ireland striker has been reduced to minutes in the League Cup and a few FA Cup games in recent seasons after establishing himself as Liverpool’s second-choice goalkeeper behind Alisson. Although he enjoyed success with the Reds during the 2021/22 season, his international place was under threat.
Southampton signed Gavin Bazunu from Manchester City last summer in search of stable goalkeepers, with the Irishman impressing during a loan spell at Sheffield Wednesday. Aside from how Saints finished in the Premier League last season, he’s been pushing for Kelleher.
The battle for the number one shirt has prompted manager Stephen Kenny to speak out, urging the Reds keeper to steer first-team football away from the L4 after settling for Liverpool with just four appearances in all competitions .
Now the above £10m is just his market value, as reported by transfermarkt.co.uk, but he is attracting interest from Premier League clubs. Namely Brentford, who are currently contemplating a life without Spain goalkeeper David Raya.
He openly declared his desire to play for the title and there was much speculation that he would join Tottenham Hotspur. Even though this trace apparently no longer exists, information is still circulating about Manchester United as well.
If Liverpool sell him, it would mean looking for a reliable option to replace the Brazilian, who has won the player of the season award.
Nat Phillips – £3 million

Nat Phillips has established himself as a cult hero at Anfield after his defensive stability helped the Reds overcome their injury woes.
Like his defensive partner Rhys Williams, they have stepped up at key moments to overcome the selection problems faced by Jurgen Klopp.
He made five appearances in all competitions for the Reds, but questions remained over his L4 future.
Phillips would not be pushed towards a departure from Liverpool following his services to the club, but he has been in the spotlight in recent months.
In January, a hamstring injury suffered by Ibrahima Konate thwarted a potential Phillips move as he was seen as a cover option for Joel Matip and Joe Gomez if Virgil van Dijk is out.
Turkish giants Galatasaray have reportedly been interested, while the defender has attracted interest from Premier League clubs in recent seasons. However, speculation over his future remained quiet this summer.
Rhys Williams – £1.7m

Williams created some of the defensive options that took Liverpool across the line behind closed doors during the season. He is also another defender whose playing time is limited as he is lower in the pecking order.
He found some minutes while on loan at Blackpool in the Championship, but those were cut short when he was recalled in January. The 22-year-old has three years left on his contract with the Reds and reports towards the end of last season suggest he has attracted interest from the second tier of English football.
There were indications that Liverpool were ready to accept an approach for the Preston-born defender. As with Phillips, there have been no concrete reports of a departure he could postpone this summer, but he could be an option after Liverpool U21 team-mate Leighton Clarkson moved to Aberdeen on a permanent basis.
Joel Matip – £10m

Joel Matip has proven to be one of the smartest deals in Liverpool’s recent history after signing Schalke on a free transfer. The Cameroon defender has won every piece of silverware at his disposal, making 187 appearances for the Reds since arriving seven years ago.
Liverpool and injury concerns have been a regular occurrence in recent years, with the 31-year-old himself suffering greatly. He resigned himself to just 17 Premier League appearances this season as he moved down the pecking order behind Ibrahima Konate.
The Reds need defensive options, but they also need to be healthy as often as possible – with this in mind, the new centre-backs have not yet been completely wiped out, even if midfield is a priority.
Matip still has a year left on his contract at Anfield, but the Reds could risk losing the then 32-year-old on a free transfer next summer. It means that this summer could be the right time to cash in on the centre-back
Fabio Carvalho – 13 million pounds

It was a difficult debut season for Fabio Carvalho. Having signed from Fulham, he has come with a promise and while the roof remains there and is untouched by the youngster, he has faced questions about his future.
His playing time was reduced following the post-World Cup restart as Liverpool pushed for European qualification. Even before the curtain fell on the season, Carvalho faced interest from the likes of RB Leipzig, who saw an offer rejected by Liverpool.
“I would like to make all these decisions with the guys before I talk about it (publicly),” Klopp said in late April. “There is no decision yet in any direction.
“What I can say is he’s been exceptional again this week in training. He’s really exceptional. So, yeah, we’ll talk and then we’ll see what we’re going to do – what he’s going to do. wants, what I think, but there is no decision yet.”
The club are unwilling to part ways with the 20-year-old but the German boss has hinted the midfielder, who was voted into the Championship team of the season before joining the Reds, could be loaned out.
“I think there could be a possibility that Fabio could be loaned out, but the fact is that it wasn’t Fabio’s best year of his career, of course, but it could have been his most important.” “No player has impressed me as much as Fabio, that’s the truth.
This talented boy came here with big dreams and big expectations and it didn’t work out – it was okay at first but it didn’t market at the end. But his work ethic will allow him to have a fantastic career because he trained and got nothing.

Liverpool’s plan to steal Tottenham’s move for £60m Bundesliga player; Man Utd, Newcastle are also interested
Liverpool have reportedly “asked to be kept informed” about the future of Tottenham-linked Bayer Leverkusen centre-back Edmond Tapsoba. The 24-year-old striker has been linked for two years with a move to the Premier League. Now it seems that he can finally move.
It’s no secret that Jurgen Klopp wants to strengthen his defense next season. Indeed, the recent performances of Joel Matip and Joe Gomez have caused the manager to scan the market for defenders. For example, Liverpool have been “in talks” with Bayern Munich star Benjamin Pavard.
The French international can play at right-back or centre-back and is keen to join a Premier League club this summer.
However, the Reds have yet to make a concrete offer for Pavard. Then they could potentially turn their attention to Tapsoba. As mentioned, Tottenham Hotspur also have the Burkina Faso national team on their radar. Ange Postecoglou wants to sign two centre-backs this summer, with Tapsoba believed to be his main target.
However, he won’t come cheap as Bayer Leverkusen have reportedly given him a valuation of £60million.Tottenham ‘cautious’ about Liverpool interest in Tapsoba

According to 90Min, Tottenham are ‘cautious’ ahead of their move as Tapsoba could be kidnapped.
The report claims that one of the clubs who could potentially opt for the defender is Liverpool. Manchester United and Newcastle have also been “informed of Tapsoba’s situation”.With that in mind, Tapsoba’s move to Tottenham is far from over, although he is ‘ready’ to join them this summer. Clement Lenglet is unlikely to be brought back on board at Spurs after a mixed spell on loan from Barcelona. Elsewhere, Postecoglou will reportedly be hearing offers for Eric Dier, Davinson Sanchez and Ben Davies.
Tapsoba made 47 appearances in all competitions for Bayer Leverkusen last season. In doing so, he helped his team to 13 clean sheets and scored two goals.
He is a versatile player and can play as both a defensive midfielder and central defender. This allows him to provide coverage in multiple positions.
With that in mind, it will be interesting to see if Liverpool make a concrete offer for Tapsoba. If they do, Tottenham will only fear more that their deal could fall through.
