    It appears crucial that Liverpool signs a replacement this summer because Joel Matip is departing the team at the end of his contract. In Arne Slot’s first season in charge, the Anfield side cannot leave itself short of options at the back.

    Although Leny Yoro was a target, Sports Zone reports that the 18-year-old has decided to sign with Real Madrid this summer despite interest from Premier League powerhouses Liverpool and Manchester United.
