Who will replace Nkunku in Chelsea’s anticipated 4-2-3-1 lineup against Liverpool?

Chelsea had a terrible 2022–2023 season under the new ownership, but now that Mauricio Pochettino has been hired, the Blues will try to recover
Chelsea had a terrible 2022–2023 season under the new ownership, but now that Mauricio Pochettino has been hired, the Blues will try to recover and get back among the elite teams.

Pochettino won’t have time to settle in and get a feel for things because Chelsea welcomes Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool to the new Premier League season on Sunday.

Chelsea’s management spent this summer balancing the books after signing an absurd number of players during the previous campaign. It’s safe to say that the management has been successful in removing the majority of the deadwood from the locker room because the club has already received more than €225 million from player sales.

A few years ago, Liverpool would have been the favorites to win this important match, but the Anfield team had a disappointing season prior to this one and has not added many new players during the current transfer window. Chelsea and Liverpool drew both of their Premier League games during the previous season, and we are confident Pochettino won’t mind beginning his tenure at Stamford Bridge with a draw against a team like Liverpool.

Injury updates for the Chelsea team:

Pochettino, like the managers from the previous season, is unlucky with injuries as he will be without some crucial players, particularly in defense where both Wesley Fofana and Badiashile will be absent.

While Fofana has ACL damage and is probably out for the remainder of the 23/24 season, Badiashile should be back by the end of this month. The 25-year-old will partner Thiago Silva in central defense on Sunday thanks to Chelsea’s acquisition of Axel Disasi.

Loftus-Cheek, N’Golo Kante, Mateo Kovacic, and Mason Mount were all sold by the Blues, leaving Enzo Fernandes as the team’s lone elite midfielder. Andrey Santos and Lesley Ugochukwu were acquired by Chelsea, but since they are both 19 years old, it will take them some time to make the first team.

Conor Gallagher will play alongside Enzo in central midfield against Liverpool despite the London side’s pursuit of Moises Caicedo from Brighton.

Chelsea had a terrible 2022–2023 season under the new ownership, but now that Mauricio Pochettino has been hired, the Blues will try to recover
Nkunku, 25, was slated to play as Pochettino’s team’s No. 10 but has sustained a knee injury and, according to the most recent reports, could be sidelined for as long as 16 weeks.

Nkunku has a knee injury that will keep the forward out for a while, according to an official statement from the team.

The 25-year-old underwent surgery and will now start a rehab program with the club’s medical staff. “.

The preseason injury to Christopher Nkunku has complicated Pochettino’s plans, and if the forward is sidelined for three months, Chelsea will need to go out and sign another striker before the transfer window closes.

Raheem Sterling should take the No. 10 position on Sunday, with Mudryk and Madueke acting as the two wingers. Despite having a tight hamstring, Madueke should be able to play against Liverpool before long.

Romelu Lukaku is a member of Chelsea’s squad, but the Belgian international won’t start because he is rumored to be moving to Juventus. Pochettino is anticipated to have faith in Nicolas Jackson, a summer signing from Villarreal.

Chelsea’s predicted lineup against Liverpool is as follows.

Predicted starting lineup (4-2-3-1): Robert Sanchez; Silva, Disasi, Reece James, Ben Chilwell; Enzo Fernandez, Gallagher; Madueke, Mudryk; Sterling, Nicolas Jackson.

Raheem Sterling, an English international who joined us from Manchester City last season, wore number 17; he is now our new number 7.

In the number 26 jersey made famous at Chelsea by fellow Academy alumnus John Terry, Levi Colwill, who just last week signed a new six-year contract, has replaced him.

After making an impression during preseason, Ian Maatsen was added to the first-team roster this summer. The versatile Dutchman will don the number 29.

Are you going to win the (Premier League) title? was the straightforward question asked of manager Mauricio Pochettino in the post-game press conference after Chelsea’s final preseason game, a scoreless draw with Borussia Dortmund in Chicago one week ago today.

That is true; we will attempt to win, he replied.
“To win is to make Chelsea history.
At the conclusion of the season, if it’s possible, I’ll let you know. However, we both begin from the same position and have the same opportunity.
We must truly believe in football, and that is what is most important. I will have faith. Whether or not it was possible, I’ll let you know at the end of the season.

There is a ton of work to be done because the Blues’ 12th-place finish last season was their worst since a 14th-place showing in 1993-94. Although the team underwent a significant overhaul this summer, the preseason went rather well overall. There are many causes for optimism, therefore.

Pochettino provided a succinct response to that query.
He will lead the team in competition for the first time on Sunday against Liverpool. He’s also correct about Stamford Bridge’s history; the club has won five league titles overall since 2005, including three since 2010. The league title race is undoubtedly a marathon, so what will it take to add another to the trophy cabinet?

And the race against the Reds on Sunday at home is where it all starts. Let’s look at who might make the first team in this situation. After the BVB deadlock, Carney Chukwuemeka stated in Chicago that he wants to make the first team. He has set it as one of his season’s objectives.

    And we anticipate he will.

Poch did state that the starting lineup he would use against Liverpool and Dortmund in the friendly match would be strikingly similar.

So, bearing that in mind, here is how we envision that to appear.

London club is very close to signing the “magnificent” from Chelsea, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Official: Robert Sánchez joins Chelsea from Brighton & Hove Albion
The temporary signing of Lewis Hall from Chelsea by Crystal Palace is currently very close to being completed.

That is what reputable journalist Fabrizio Romano claims.

Lewis Hall, 18, is about to leave Chelsea on loan for the upcoming season, according to a late Friday night report from Romano.

In order to sign the versatile youngster, Premier League and London club Palace are reportedly at “advanced stages.”.

Crystal Palace and Chelsea are nearing a loan agreement for Lewis Hall, according to Romano.
Final details are being discussed as negotiations are in their advanced stages and are almost complete.
    ”.

Hall played a total of nine Premier League games for Chelsea’s first team last season and didn’t appear out of place in the least.

We like the sound of him improving his game this season while on loan at Palace and getting regular playing time.

It will be interesting to see where the English teenager is used at Selhurst Park because he is an excellent option for left-back or central midfield. Of course, the agreement still needs to be signed.

The left-footed rising star, in our opinion, stands a strong chance of eventually joining Mauricio Pochettino’s Blues team.

Hall, who Micah Richards previously praised as “magnificent” on Sky Sports, will be adored by the Palace supporters.

Even at the highest level, he is unfazed and plays with such intelligence despite only being 18 years old. Technically sound and an excellent crosser, too

  • Three lessons from Liverpool’s final preseason match against Darmstadt.

Three lessons from Liverpool’s final preseason match against Darmstadt.

Liverpool transfer news LIVE: Romeo Lavia offer of £46 million, Gabri Veiga rivalry,
Liverpool decisively defeated Darmstadt 3-1 to cap off their preseason campaign.

Every game the Reds have played this season has had a strong start, and the match against Darmstadt was no different. The exceptionally offensive Liverpool lineup was eager to make a final impression before the regular season starts, hungry for goals, and prepared to run.

After Jurgen Klopp’s team took an early lead thanks to goals from Mohamed Salah and Diogo Jota, Mathias Honsak immediately responded with a goal down the other end right after kickoff.

But as Liverpool’s dominance increased, Luis Diaz’ spectacular goal in the second half sealed the 3-1 victory.

There is much to look forward to as the season approaches, especially with our goal scorers in outstanding form. Following are the three most important discussion points from Liverpool’s final preseason match.

If Liverpool’s final preseason game taught the fans anything, it’s that this season is going to be absolutely jam-packed with goals at both ends of the field.

    GOALS GALORE

Liverpool has exceptional offensive ability. Diogo Jota is described as being sharp, clinical, and energetic.

Every one of Liverpool’s forwards is up the challenge this season, and whether they are starting, or coming off the bench, everyone from Mohamed Salah to Ben Doak is dangerous and could score at any moment.

But it’s obvious that there won’t just be goals to celebrate.

Although the Reds were in control today, every counterattack left the defense vulnerable, and despite scoring an incredible 18 goals in five preseason games, Liverpool has also allowed 11 goals.

If Jurgen Klopp is to stick with his new system, the team have to find a way to become more defensively secure and stop leaking countless easy goals.

Romeo Lavia’s acquisition and additional defensive reinforcement would undoubtedly aid in this effort, but they do not constitute complete answers, and until Liverpool finds one, high-scoring matches can be anticipated frequently.

The new number 10 for Liverpool has made a big impression during preseason play so far. He has already contributed his first assist and has played a lot of gorgeous through balls. His ability to control the ball and turn in small spaces makes for an exhilarating watch.

    MAC ALLISTER AS A 6

    MAC ALLISTER AS A 6

One thing that stood out in particular about the 24-year-old after a standout season with Brighton and a victorious World Cup victory with Argentina was his incredible versatility. In the middle of the field, Mac Allister is a player who can essentially play anywhere and do it to a very high level.

Despite how exciting it’s been to watch him pulling the strings further up the pitch, it was certainly interesting to see this versatility put to the test on Monday night, as our new signing occupied the defensive midfield position against Darmstadt.

The Argentine adapted seamlessly to his slightly more defensive role as Curtis Jones was forced to sit out due to a very minor injury (don’t worry, he made the bench and entered the game in the second half).

While every Reds fan in the world is collectively praying the club signs a specialist defensive midfielder like Romeo Lavia this summer, it will provide at least some comfort that Curtis Jones and Alexis Mac Allister both have the ability to play the role – even though most would, admittedly, rather see the former influencing the game higher up the pitch.

    ATTACKING PECKING ORDER?

With Liverpool now just six days away from their Premier League opener against Chelsea, perhaps Jurgen Klopp has shown his hand in regard to what he considers to be the pecking order for his plentiful attack?

It’s hard to consider the line-ups of previous pre-season games as much of an indication into Liverpool’s best starting XI going into the season, as they have mainly been about regaining fitness and match sharpness – but the final friendly before the season begins is often a good benchmark.

Despite Darwin Nunez’ fine goalscoring form so far, he was the only one of Liverpool’s illustrious five attackers to be named on the bench Monday night, with Mo Salah, Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz forming the front three, and the versatile Cody Gakpo performing brilliantly dropped into the midfield just behind.

This decision certainly paid off, with all three of Liverpool’s starting forwards registering a goal. You can’t help but feel sorry for Darwin Nunez, but someone had to miss out.

While this forward line isn’t guaranteed to start against Chelsea at the weekend, if it is the case, having an in-form Darwin Nunez coming off the bench full of energy and hungry to impress can only be a good thing. Liverpool are incredibly lucky to have him.

    Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall of Leicester City was reportedly a target for Liverpool.
The world of football transfers never ceases to amaze, and this week, Liverpool fans were treated to a link that had many baffled. Unexpectedly, a rumor surfaced linking the Reds to Leicester City midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, which they found themselves in the middle of.

Before more information is revealed, it is advisable to proceed with caution when considering transfer rumors.
Even so, this one stands out among the cacophony of improbable connections. [through ECHO].

Although Dewsbury-Hall’s name may not be as well-known as some of the other targets Liverpool has been linked to, the mere suggestion of his potential transfer to Anfield is certainly intriguing. Liverpool has been particularly active in the transfer market, but primarily in terms of departures from the midfield. Despite being unexpected, this connection adds another piece to the puzzle.

Fans are curious and intrigued because there is still doubt about the report’s veracity. It’s crucial to cut through the clutter and assess the likelihood of a transfer as we wade through the torrents of transfer news.

    KDH to the Reds?
Dewsbury-Hall’s immediate participation on the pitch, however, provided an intriguing narrative twist. He started in the EFL Championship opener for Leicester City against Coventry City.

Transfer rumors frequently result in various degrees of surprises because the football world is full of unanticipated turns and twists. Dewsbury-Hall’s potential transfer to Liverpool, whether it materializes or not, serves as a reminder of how unpredictable the transfer window can be.

For Liverpool supporters, the transfer rumors surrounding Dewsbury-Hall add a distinctive flavor. It’s simple to get swept up in the excitement, but it’s important to approach such links from a fair angle.

The intriguing saga of Dewsbury-Hall and Liverpool undoubtedly continues to add a component of uncertainty and anticipation to the equation as the season progresses and the transfer window inches closer to its conclusion. The 24-year-old Englishman’s life could change with a transfer to the Reds, who are in need of a new midfielder.

Of course, it would be preferable if we chose well-known athletes with a track record. But at this point, we are aware enough not to question the club’s scouting procedure.

    More news……..

Liverpool reportedly held talks with an Aston Villa player after passing on a deal for Youri Tielemans.

Prior to the start of the Premier League season next weekend, Liverpool is still active in the summer transfer market.
Villa will probably put up a fight for their promising academy prospect. With plenty of preseason playing time for the youngster, manager Unai Emery is obviously as impressed with Philogene’s time at Cardiff as Klopp is.

But after giving up on a long-standing interest in Tielemans to give Villa a free run earlier this summer, Klopp may ask the West Midlands side for a favor. It is uncertain whether their seamless acquisition of the former Leicester City midfielder will be sufficient to satisfy the demands of Liverpool’s manager.

This season, Philogene might have a hard time getting first-team time at Villa Park. While Jacob Ramsey has frequently been used on the flanks and new acquisition Moussa Diaby is anticipated to immediately slot into the starting XI, Bertrand Traore, Philippe Coutinho, and Leon Bailey are already vying for playing time out wide.
With all of Klopp’s A-list talent at Anfield, the winger might also find it difficult to get playing time. Fabio Carvalho has already been loaned out in order for him to gain significant experience at RB Leipzig.

Liverpool is steadily replacing the attacking group that helped Klopp win the Premier League in 2019–20. Now that Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino have left, Mohamed Salah is the lone survivor of the Reds’ formidable trio.

The Saudi Pro League has been linked to the Egyptian this summer, but with Liverpool’s Premier League debut just a week away, they would undoubtedly stop any potential exit.

    EVERTON TEAM NEWS.
Liverpool’s lack of any new injury concerns as they made their way back from Singapore on Wednesday night will be a huge relief to Klopp.

With Stefan Bajcetic and Thiago Alcantara expected to resume training before Liverpool’s trip to Stamford Bridge, the Reds’ midfield has received a tremendous boost. Although it might be too soon for the pair to play against Darmstadt.

Conor Bradley and the Spaniards didn’t accompany the team on their Asia tour because they were still receiving treatment at the AXA Training Center.

Klopp immediately downplayed concerns about Alexis Mac Allister’s injury against Bayern, as the Argentine only sustained a bruised knee as a result of a knee-on-knee collision. Although the midfielder had assured Klopp that continuing would have been fine, friendlies are never the time to take risks. It is unknown if the World Cup champion will play at Deepdale on Monday.

    PREDICTED LINEUP:.

For Monday’s matchup with Darmstadt, Liverpool could kick off as follows:.

(4-3-3) Alisson, Konate, Virgil van Dijk, Andy Robertson, Harvey Elliott, Curtis Jones, Dominik Szoboszlai, Mohamed Salah, Cody Gakpo, and Luis Diaz.

    PREDICTION:.

Liverpool has scored 15 goals in four games this summer, a prolific goal-scoring season.
Ten goals conceded, though, have led to concerns about Liverpool’s defense.
While they finalize plans for their trip to the capital next weekend, Klopp will want a more defensively sound performance at Deepdale.

Given the fierce competition for spots, don’t be surprised if Liverpool players treat this match like a contest, hoping to convince coach Jurgen Klopp to give them the starting spot against Chelsea on Sunday.

Liverpool has already made an £82,000-a-week offer for a creative player worth £34 million.
Liverpool have long been linked to Gabri Veiga, the young Spaniard and Celta Vigo, and now the Reds have made an offer to sign him.

However, the Catalan outlet stressed it would be difficult for the Anfield club to match the €40m, or £34m, release clause.

Now, according to Spanish source, Deportes COPE Galicia (via Estadio Deportivo), Liverpool have made a sizable offer of €25m to attract the midfielder.

To sweeten the deal, the Premier League giants are willing to loan the player to Celta so he can play in La Liga next season.

The loan option would certainly not benefit Jurgen Klopp, who is in desperate need of reinforcements in the center after replacing five midfielders this summer. Veiga is a creative attacking midfielder, who directly contributed to 15 goals (11 goals and 4 assists) last season.

In the last game of the season, he helped his youth club survive relegation by scoring a brace against Spanish champions Barcelona.

He made six appearances at the Under-21 European Championship for Spain, playing 31 minutes in the final against England.

Liverpool could have a good chance of signing Veiga from Celta Vigo as former Anfield boss Rafael Benitez is the Spanish side’s manager.

Taking on Bundesliga champion Bayern Munich in Singapore presented a difficult preseason test for a strong Liverpool team. These are the six things
Taking on Bundesliga champion Bayern Munich in Singapore presented a difficult preseason test for a strong Liverpool team. These are the six things that we noticed.

Jürgen Klopp selected a strong Liverpool team for the team’s penultimate preseason matchup this summer against Bayern Munich at the National Stadium in Singapore. The Reds fell short of their German opponents 4-3 in a nail-biting match in Singapore.

With Cody Gakpo’s goal just over a minute into the match, Liverpool wasted no time in asserting itself against the Bundesliga champion. Midway through the first half, the Reds would double their advantage when newly-elected captain Virgil van Dijk headed in from Andy Robertson’s corner.

However, Bayern was able to tie the score before halftime thanks to goals from Leroy Sané and Serge Gnabry, exposing once more Liverpool’s defensive shortcomings. Luis Dáz, a second-half substitute, gave the Reds the lead back, but Bayern soon equalized when Josip Stanii turned the ball home after Matthijs de Ligt’s header was saved. Frans Krätzig then gave Thomas Tuchel’s team the win.

With less than two weeks until the start of the new Premier League season, Klopp made a noticeable shift in strategy by starting with only senior first-team players.

Alisson Becker, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Gakpo were among the players who were re-inserted into the lineup following the victory over Leicester on Sunday, while Jol Matip received a somewhat unexpected start in place of Ibrahima Konaté alongside Van Dijk in the center of defense.

    spotted as the game unfolded.
The six observations Liverpool.com spotted as the game unfolded.

    Chelsea hints?

With less than two weeks until the start of the Premier League season, all eyes were on the starting XI to see if any hints could be gleaned as to Klopp’s side for Chelsea. Bayern presents by far the biggest challenge Liverpool will face during preseason.

The Reds manager’s choice to start Dominik Szoboszlai in midfield alongside Curtis Jones and Alexis MacAllister was perhaps the most notable.

In the front three, Diogo Jota remained on the left, and Cody Gakpo replaced Darwin Nez as the number nine.

Following the victory over Leicester, Klopp emphasized the need for Nez to sharpen his pressing technique. However, if this team is to give Chelsea an early hint, it appears that Nez still has some work to do before moving to the front of the line, especially in light of Gakpo’s outstanding performance.

    Jones confirms Klopp’s assertion.

It’s looking more and more likely that Curtis Jones will start as the number six against Chelsea after a second offer for Roméo Lavia was turned down this week (according to The Athletic).

The ability of the Scouser to fill Fabinho’s void has already received Klopp’s endorsement.

In possession, Curtis can undoubtedly make a significant impact from that position, according to Klopp (via the Mirror). His growth over the past few months since he’s been with us, in my opinion, has been truly remarkable.

He makes sense to be on the field. If no one else is available, he can play this position without a doubt.
    ”.

There were times when Jones’ challenges came at the wrong time and it was obvious that we needed a more natural number six. Thoughtfully summarizing Klopp’s performance in possession, the academy graduate displayed excellent composure under pressure, even when facing his own goal.

    Transfer Reminder

When in possession, Liverpool continued to display encouraging traits and appeared dangerous almost every time it attempted to advance. However, there were some lingering concerns about defense.

Jol Matip was chosen to rekindle his previous alliance with Virgil van Dijk, but against strong opposition, Ibrahima Konaté’s absence may have stood out more.

Due to Matip’s slower speed compared to Konaté, Bayern was able to score both of its goals in the first half by taking advantage of the space normally occupied by a right-back.

Jones appeared at ease handling the ball, but Sané was given plenty of room for the second goal, so Jones was found wanting in his defensive responsibilities.

If it wasn’t already obvious, Liverpool must address its problems in defense and the number six position as soon as possible through the transfer market.

    what’s in a name?

The fact that Dominik Szoboszlai has joined Liverpool is unquestionably positive news, even though it has given some of the club’s reporters some trouble.

And it appears that whoever is in charge of the kits might be experiencing a similar issue with the Hungarian’s name.

    Injury worry

An injury to a midfielder, especially one who has made such a strong impression this summer, is the last thing Liverpool needs right now.

Therefore, it was easy to see why there was more than a little worry when Alexis Mac Allister collapsed holding his knee just before the break and didn’t appear to be in any particular hurry to get back up.

Following a thorough investigation to determine the cause of the issue, Andy Robertson informed Klopp that it was likely just a knee-to-knee collision rather than something potentially more serious.

The Argentine was able to leave the field of play on his own accord, but no chances were taken as Mac Allister was replaced at the break. But it will still cause more anxiety than both fans and Klopp would like at this point.

    Gravenberch surveillance.

Klopp likely kept a close eye on more than just his own team.

This summer, Liverpool has been linked with a few Bayern players. Benjamin Pavard, Joshua Kimmich, and Ryan Gravenberch have all been mentioned in connection with Liverpool at various points.

Given Liverpool’s current need for a new midfielder and Gravenberch’s current circumstances in Germany, the latter of those three players may be of the most interest to the Reds at this time.

Just after the hour mark, the Netherlands international came off the bench and nearly tied the score for Bayern as he forced Alisson into a save following a deft run into the penalty area.

Gravenberch might provide another alternative option as Liverpool looks for a new midfielder because he appears to be lower on the food chain.

On Wednesday at noon, Liverpool and Bayern Munich square off in a thrilling friendly at the Singapore National Stadium.

Recently, Jurgen Klopp’s team destroyed Leicester City 4-0 in Kallang, and the German champions finished their visit to Japan with a 1-0 victory over Kawasaki Frontale.

    MATCH PREVIEW

On Wednesday at noon, Liverpool and Bayern Munich square off in a thrilling friendly at the Singapore National Stadium.
Two months after defeating Leicester with three unanswered goals at the King Power, Liverpool’s dominance over their Championship rivals was still evident in Singapore, where a first-half barrage put the Reds on their way to a convincing victory.

Before the half, Darwin Nunez, Bobby Clark, and Diogo Jota all made the net tremble, and in the second half, rising Scottish winger Ben Doak added his name to the scoresheet as Liverpool continued their remarkable streak of scoring four goals in every preseason match this summer.

The Reds also scored four goals in their two exhibition matches against Greuther Furth and Karlsruher SC in Germany, though they were forced to settle for a 4-4 draw against the latter. However, few will be expecting another four-goal outburst against the defending champions of Germany.

Though Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister, recent additions to the Liverpool engine room, are already settling in, talks over a transfer for Romeo Lavia are reportedly ongoing in the background as Fabinho gets ready to join Jordan Henderson in Saudi Arabia, according to Klopp.

The thrilling match on Wednesday will be Liverpool’s final friendly away from English soil before they finish their summer exhibition schedule against Darmstadt 98 at Deepdale on August 7. Klopp’s team will then try to give Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino a rough welcome back to life in England during their Premier League opener on August 13.

Liverpool vs. Bayern Munich - Prediction, team news, forecast and lineups.
Although Liverpool’s preseason goalscoring achievements are commendable, the Reds’ 12 goals are dwarfed by Bayern’s opening 27-0 demolition of FC Rottach-Egern, a ninth-tier team. Thomas Tuchel’s team has since struggled to establish their dominance in a pair of Japan-based matches.

In fact, the Bavarians fell short in a 2-1 loss to Manchester City on July 26, three days before a Tokyo match with J1 League heavyweights Kawasaki Frontale, where Bayern’s only victory came from a second-half goal by Josip Stanisic.

Tuchel bemoaned his team’s pre-season exhaustion as the reason for their lackluster performance, but the German champions have not had much time to rest up as they prepare to fly to Singapore for their fourth exhibition match of the summer.

Bayern’s final two preseason opponents will be Monaco and Weinbeisser Kaltern. The Bundesliga champions may or may not start their latest title defense with Harry Kane leading the way as club executives work to placate ruthless Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy.

Liverpool and Bayern have played nine competitive matches, with five ending in draws. However, Liverpool most recently defeated Bayern 3-1 in the second leg of a Champions League last-16 matchup.

After a brief absence due to an ankle injury, Szoboszlai returned for Liverpool’s recent thrashing of Leicester, but Stefan Bajcetic, former Bayern lynchpin Thiago Alcantara, and Conor Bradley were all left at home to continue their recoveries.

Liverpool vs. Bayern Munich - Prediction, team news, forecast and lineups.
    Team news

Given the quality of the opposition and the fact that no new injuries were discovered over the weekend, Klopp should start a strong lineup, forcing Clark, despite his memorable goal against the Foxes, to accept a bench position.

In addition, Alisson Becker might reclaim the goalie’s gloves, allowing Caoimhin Kelleher to return to the dugout. In the attack, Luis Diaz might make a comeback to support Mohamed Salah and Nunez, the latter of whom has four goals in as many friendlies.

Meanwhile, Sadio Mane, a former Liverpool player, will not be playing for Bayern on Wednesday because he is on the verge of signing a lucrative contract with the Saudi Arabian team Al-Nassr. Thiago will also miss the opportunity to play against his former team.

Mane’s impending departure will further weaken an attack already without the injured Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting (knee) and Thomas Muller (hip), as well as Manuel Neuer and newly acquired Raphael Guerreiro, who will both miss out due to leg issues.

Kim Min-jae, who made his debut for the German champions in their victory over Kawasaki, will continue to guard Yann Sommer in the Bayern goal despite persistent rumors of a possible transfer to Inter Milan.

Starting lineup options for Liverpool include:. Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson, Mac Allister, Jones, Szoboszlai, Salah, Nunez, and Diaz are some of the players.

starting lineups for Bayern Munich could include:.
Sommer; Pavard; Kim; De Ligt; Davies; Kimmich; Goretzka; Sane; Musiala; Coman; Tel.

    We say; Liverpool 3 – 1Bayern Munich

Liverpool may enter the game on Wednesday as the favorites because Bayern’s team is both injured and worn out, and their preparations may be hampered by the lengthy flight from Japan.

Klopp’s team should take advantage of Bayern’s recent struggles to close out their Singapore trip with a stunning victory, even though another four-goal performance might not be possible.

Kylian Mbappe ‘insulting’ offer incoming as Chelsea conclude another transfer before their match against Liverpool.

A look at the transfers occurring away from Liverpool, where Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappe are reportedly close to leaving Tottenham Hotspur
A look at the transfers occurring away from Liverpool, where Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappe are reportedly close to leaving Tottenham Hotspur and Paris Saint-Germain, respectively.

As board members from Bayern Munich are scheduled to meet with Daniel Levy, the chairman of Tottenham Hotspur, on Monday in the hopes of working out a deal for the forward, Harry Kane’s time in the Premier League may be coming to an end.

The 30-year-old’s current contract with Tottenham Hotspur Stadium expires in less than a year, and as a result, he has been linked with a lucrative move away from the North London club this summer. Kane has been linked with moves to Manchester United, Chelsea, and Real Madrid, but it now seems that the defending Bundesliga champions are most likely to sign the England captain.

Levy will meet with Bayern’s CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen and technical director Marco Neppe on Monday, according to the Mail Online, as the Germans prepare to make a third offer for Kane. This time, it’s anticipated that the offer will be worth about £75 million.

The forward is expected to leave Tottenham on a free transfer after his contract expires next summer, but it has been claimed that Levy is holding out for a fee closer to £90 million.

In his first preseason with the Bavarians, Bayern manager Thomas Tuchel has already made it known that he wants to sign a No. this summer, nine. A request of this nature is expected to be given more weight given that Sadio Mane, who joined his team from Liverpool just one year ago, is now expected to leave. A move to Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia, according to numerous reports, is imminent for the Senegal international.

Back in the Premier League, Chelsea, who will play Liverpool on the opening day of the new Premier League season, has reached an agreement to sign AS Monaco defender Axel Disasi.

The Londoners will pay somewhere around £38.5 million for the 25-year-old, according to a number of reports in the national media, as they look to strengthen their defensive ranks after selling Kalidou Koulibaly to Al-Hilal and losing both Wesley Fofana and Benoit Badiashile to injuries recently.

Since joining AS Monaco in August 2020, the defender, who has four France caps, has made over 100 appearances.

Kylian Mbappe 'insulting' offer incoming as Chelsea conclude another transfer before their match against Liverpool.
Meanwhile, Kylian Mbappe’s future in Ligue 1 is set to take another turn on Monday because the forward has until July 31 to activate a two-year extension at the Parc des Prince.

After signing new terms with the Ligue 1 champions in May 2022, the 24-year-old has less than 12 months left on his current contract. PSG is reportedly furious with Mbappe, however, as they think he has already made arrangements with Real Madrid regarding a transfer to the Spanish captain next summer. The World Cup winner was consequently not included in the Parisians’ squad for their preseason tour of Japan earlier this month.

In accordance with RMC Sport, Mbappe has until midnight on July 31 to activate a two-year extension at the club. If he does so, he will receive the first payment of a ‘loyalty bonus’ worth an estimated €40 million on August 1.

The article states that PSG is preparing for another “extremely low and insulting” bid from Real Madrid. Real Madrid has long-standing interest in Mbappe and famously made a £171.7m bid to sign the forward on the final day of the September 2021 transfer window.

PSG president Nasser Al-Khelalfi said in May that Mbappe must sign a new contract if he wants to play in the team’s plans for the upcoming 2023–24 season: “My position is very clear. I don’t want to say it again, but if Kylian wants to stay, we want him to stay. However, he must consent to a new contract. “.

Ideal Liverpool starting lineup vs. Chelsea: Darwin Nunez $64 million Fabinho transfer option.

Ideal Liverpool starting lineup vs. Chelsea: Darwin Nunez, $64 million Fabinho transfer option.
The season opener for Liverpool against Chelsea is only two weeks away. Darwin Nez is staking his claim, and an immediate fix for Fabinho is required.

If the Fabinho transfer goes through, Liverpool has made two in and six out so far this summer. That’s without counting loan departures, with Fábio Carvalho another first-team option leaving Jürgen Klopp’s ranks for the time being.

Liverpool obviously still has a lot of work to do in the transfer market. Given the problematic injury histories of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keta, Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai can fill in for a number of departing players, but they can’t possibly handle all of the responsibilities by themselves.

However, with the Premier League opener against Chelsea now less than two weeks away, time is running out for Klopp to get his team together. While the preseason has shown a lot of promise, including a sizable number of goals for Darwin Nez, it has also raised some difficult questions.

The person who fills the Fabinho position at Stamford Bridge is at the top of the list. There have been several 0-0 draws between Chelsea and other teams in recent memory, but that outcome this time around seems highly unlikely because Liverpool cannot afford to be vulnerable to a Mauricio Pochettino team that wants to establish its worth.

Ideal Liverpool starting lineup vs. Chelsea: Darwin Nunez, $64 million Fabinho transfer option.
Trent Alexander-Arnold and Curtis Jones have both been employed as the number six player thus far. While they have performed admirably, neither is the best choice because the former raises the same concerns about the right-back position and the latter is much more suited for attacking roles.

Thiago and Stefan Bajéti are two other available internal players who are still recovering from injuries. It would be unlikely for either of them to start against Chelsea given the current timelines.

However, a new player must be brought in quickly if Klopp is to have a chance to start the game. Any addition will have little time for preseason training, but Liverpool is still in the window where a professional hire seems preferable to a temporary fix from within.

Roméo Lavia appears to be the deal that could be completed quickly with a strong push from Liverpool’s side. He’s participated in Southampton’s preseason, so at the very least, he’s maintained some level of match acuity. And if the $64 million (£50 million/€ 58 million) asking price is met, Klopp will have the best chance of defeating Chelsea.

Positiver conundrums are present in other parts of the team.

For instance, Klopp will likely have to decide who starts up front throughout the course of the season because Liverpool has an abundance of top-notch options.

It’s Nez who needs to start against Chelsea. As previously stated, a score of 0-0 does not appear to be in the cards; instead, it appears that the game will be wide open, and he has shown this preseason that he can be a threat when given room to attack.

And above all else, he has earned this chance. From a financial perspective, Liverpool is obviously heavily invested in making the Nez plan succeed, and if four goals in three halves of preseason football is not enough to win him a chance, then he is facing a truly uphill battle. Although it’s urgent to get the real long-term ticket into Klopp’s team, it’s evident that the work ethic is there.

If Nez falls short, Cody Gakpo and Diogo Jota, two game-changers from the bench, are available for Liverpool. The Uruguayan should get a chance though given his growing partnership with Mohamed Salah.

Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Konaté, Van Dijk, Robertson; Lavia, Mac Allister, Jones; Daz, Nez, Salah could all start against Chelsea.

Szoboszlai, Jota, Gakpo, Matip, and Gomez are notable substitutes. It was difficult to leave him out, but Liverpool doesn’t want to start from scratch with their midfield.

    More news………

As the midfielder’s medical process gets underway, there has been a significant development in Liverpool’s Romeo Lavia agreement.

Before the new Premier League season begins, Liverpool expects to sign at least one marquee player, according to sources speaking
Before the new Premier League season begins, Liverpool expects to sign at least one marquee player, according to sources speaking to Football Insider.

Romeo Lavia of Southampton is the player the Merseysiders are most interested in signing as a central midfielder.

Liverpool’s £38 million offer for the 19-year-old was turned down by the Saints, but they plan to come back with a better one.

In addition to being interested in Lavia, Chelsea is also prepared to make a formal move for the midfielder as their pursuit of Moises Caicedo appears to be coming to a halt.

However, Liverpool is currently in the lead to sign Lavia and has already reached a personal contract with the player.

As Liverpool looks to bolster their team ahead of the new season, there is still work to be done.

Their first match is against Chelsea on August 13; however, any new player must be registered by Friday, August 11 in order to face the Londoners.

At least one new player will have been signed by then, according to Liverpool.

Fabinho is scheduled to travel to Saudi Arabia to undergo a medical with Al-Ittihad while Jordan Henderson has already left the country.

Chelsea’s interest in Lavia was first made public by Football Insider back in March, along with interest from former club Man City, Arsenal, and Manchester United.

In addition to having a £40 million buy-back option that becomes operational in the summer of 2024, City will be entitled to 20% of any fee received for his services.

34 times in all competitions were made by the 19-year-old last season, who has a contract with Southampton through June 2027.

He has taken the field for the Saints in all of their preseason friendlies to this point, but on Tuesday (25 July), he was substituted out against Bournemouth at halftime.

As the competition for his signature grows, manager Russell Martin later acknowledged the youngster “has a lot on his mind.”.

5 key takeaways from Liverpool’s 4-0 preseason win over Leicester

Liverpool beat Leicester 4-0 in a resounding victory to begin their preseason games in Singapore. The Reds were determined to win this morning
Liverpool beat Leicester 4-0 in a resounding victory to begin their preseason games in Singapore.

The Reds were determined to win this morning from the start, and Jurgen Klopp’s starting lineup did just that by scoring three beautifully-crafted goals before halftime. These goals came from the likes of hotshot Darwin Nunez, Bobby Clark, who scored his first senior goal, and the dependable Diogo Jota, who finished with aplomb.

The second-half lineup continued Liverpool’s winning ways predictably, and Ben Doak added his first senior goal to the Reds’ 4-0 victory.

Here are the five most important talking points from this morning’s game, which our forwards dominated and in which the defense earned their first clean sheet of the preseason.

    MAC ALLISTER IS A BARGAIN

    MAC ALLISTER IS A BARGAIN
In a midfield three with Bobby Clark and Curtis Jones, Liverpool’s new Argentinian wizard started once more for the Reds against Leicester. For only £35 million, this player is an absolute steal.

Mac Allister was the star of the first half despite neither scoring nor providing a direct assist. Our new number 10 has it all, including the ability to turn under pressure, deft touches, and an eye for a through ball.

Liverpool’s forward line must be licking their lips at the thought of being fed by a player like Mac Allister all season after providing two pre-assists to Mo Salah (who was also, characteristically exceptional today) for both Bobby Clark and Diogo Jota’s goals.

Although Liverpool’s new additions have received most of the attention during preseason thus far, one important lesson learned from this morning’s game is that the club’s future also appears bright as Bobby Clark and Ben Doak both scored their first senior goals in outstanding fashion.

The first of the two goals came in the opening period, when Bobby Clark beautifully curled a low shot into the bottom left corner to double Liverpool’s lead. It’s safe to say that when Mo Salah found the child just inside the 18-yard box, the opportunity was taken.

With about 20 minutes remaining in the second half, Ben Doak got his chance to participate in the scoring by scoring Liverpool’s fourth goal with an outstanding header at the back post. This ended the game.

Fans were understandably thrilled to see Doak and Clark score their first goals after the duo made a big impression during this year’s preseason campaign. If these performances are any indication, it most definitely won’t be the last time we see Doak and Clark score.

Darwin Nunez, Liverpool’s new number nine, is currently leading the team in terms of pure goal-scoring performance, which is exactly what supporters want to hear for a player with his price tag and expectations.

Nunez has scored four goals in three preseason games so far, and he appears to be a different player than what we saw before the summer. He has been calm, instinctive, and clinical, and many fans think his goal potential this season is extremely high.

Even though the composition of Liverpool’s strongest front-three has been hotly contested, which is understandable given the club’s abundance of attacking options, the Uruguayan’s recent play puts him in strong contention to start against Chelsea on August 13.

    TRENT BACK IN DEFENSE.

Liverpool’s right-back options were limited going into the Leicester game because Conor Bradley did not accompany the rest of the team to Singapore.

Trent Alexander-Arnold was thus named in his usual position prior to kickoff, with Curtis Jones, Bobby Clark, and Alexis MacAllister occupying the midfield ahead of him.

The Scouser was once again playing in an inverted role in possession, which gave him great joy toward the end of last season, much to the delight of the crowd.

One thing is certain: Jurgen Klopp will allow Trent the freedom to play in those midfield areas as much as possible, whether or not Trent begins the season as a right-back or in the middle of the field.

This year, it’s going to be a total joy to watch Liverpool’s number 66 dismantle defense after defense.

    QUANSAH IS A MAN MOUNTAIN

Jarell Quansah was by far one of the second-half standouts; he was dominant today and is almost certainly worthy of first-team minutes this season.

Although I don’t think the search should end, Quansah’s preseason performances will give Jurgen Klopp plenty to consider.
Liverpool has been widely reported to be looking for a defender before the season starts.

The 20-year-old center-back has never made a mistake, and given the injury histories of Ibrahima Konate, Joe Gomez, and Joel Matip, he will be eager to force his way into his manager’s plans.

He could be well on his way to establishing himself as a legitimate player with another strong showing against Bayern Munich the following week.
