Spanish rumours claim that Luis Diaz, a winger for Liverpool, has decided to go with Manchester City.

The Colombian international and the Premier League winners have reached an agreement on a five-year contract, according to a Tuesday afternoon report from El Chiringuito.

According to the report, City is prepared to give Liverpool €70 million (£59.8 million) in exchange for the 27-year-old.

Liverpool insiders assert that the club has not received an approach from City regarding Diaz in response to the story originating from Spanish media.

Diaz did not indicate in an April interview that he planned to depart Liverpool during the summer transfer window.

To be honest, I’m thrilled to be here. I’m sure the club will have fantastic years ahead of it, Diaz stated.

You get increasingly better at being a professional, a better person, a good teammate, and a nice guy. For my part, I’ll constantly strive to give it my all, to always stand out on the pitch, because that’s why I came [here]. I’m constantly appreciative to God for all of my blessings.

Jack Grealish and Jeremy Doku are also vying for a spot on the left side of City’s attack, so it looks like they have plenty of options there as well.

In January 2022, Liverpool paid an initial fee of £37 million to capture Diaz from Porto. Since joining the Premier League, he has made 98 appearances, scoring 24 goals. He has also assisted Liverpool in winning two Carabao Cup championships and the FA Cup.

Barcelona is also interested in Diaz, as the Liverpool winger is being considered as a possible replacement for Nico Williams of Athletic Bilbao.

Ahead of the new Premier League season, Liverpool has not yet added a new player to Arne Slot’s roster.

Liverpool suffered a severe setback on Monday when their main midfield target, Martin Zubimendi, decided to stay at Real Sociedad rather than go to Anfield.

In the meantime, City has already made one acquisition this summer: Brazilian winger Savinho, who signed a €40 million (£30.8 million) contract to join from French team Troyes in July.

Liverpool has verified the left-back. Luke Chambers has agreed to spend the season on loan with Wigan Athletic, a team in League One.

Luke Chambers will play the season on loan at Wigan Athletic, according to confirmation from Liverpool. After playing with the Latics for the second half of the previous season, Chambers has temporarily switched to the League One team.

The 20-year-old left-back will pair up with Calvin Ramsay, a Reds teammate who joined Shaun Maloney’s squad earlier in the summer on a season-long loan.

Having played for Liverpool since he was six years old, Chambers made his debut in the first part of the previous campaign before spending eighteen months on loan at Wigan.

After making his first-team Liverpool debut as a late substitute in the team’s September League Cup third-round victory over Leicester City, he went on to start in the team’s October Europa League group victory over Toulouse.

After starting the first game of the previous season as a substitute for the first team twice, Chambers came off the bench against LASK at home. He also made a second start in the 2-1 loss at Union Saint-Gilloise. In all, Chambers was on the bench four times in the Premier League.

During the second half of 2022–2023 the England under–20 international made more impressions while on loan at Kilmarnock, a Scottish Premiership team.

Goalie Fabian Mrozek of the Academy last month went on loan to Swedish team IF Brommapojkarna, with a term of January.

The £48 million transfer decision made by Barcelona fully clarifies Luis Diaz's future with Liverpool

Luis Diaz, a standout for Liverpool, has been linked to a lucrative summer transfer to Barcelona, and it looks like the Spanish powerhouse has finally made up its mind to pursue the Colombian.

After ultimately deciding to make a bid for Dani Olmo, Barcelona decided to keep Luis Diaz with Liverpool.

The Colombian winger for the Reds was rumoured to be interested in moving to Spain and was connected to a summer transfer to Catalonia. However, it appears like Diaz’s destiny has been determined, which will be extremely beneficial to Liverpool and their new manager Arne Slot.

In January 2022, the 27-year-old winger left Porto to sign with Liverpool. Since then, he has made 98 Reds appearances and netted 24 goals in all competitions. Diaz’s contract at Anfield has three years remaining on it.

Barcelona has not made Diaz a top priority this summer, and they are about to finalise a £48 million deal for Dani Olmo, a star player for Spain who plays for RB Leipzig.

“You learn more and more to be a professional, to be a better person, to be a good teammate and a good guy,” Diaz stated in May while discussing his future at Liverpool. To be honest, I’m thrilled to be here. I’m confident that the club will have many more successful years to come.

As for me, I’ll always strive to give it my all, to always stand out on the pitch because that’s what I came [here] to accomplish. I always give thanks to God for all of my blessings.”

A transfer to Barcelona would be the Liverpool star’s “dream,” according to Diaz’s father, who made the admission last year. “To be honest, I don’t know much about Barcelona right now,” said Diaz Sr.

The £48 million transfer decision made by Barcelona fully clarifies Luis Diaz's future with Liverpool

It’s true that Luis adores Barcelona, and visiting the city is his dream. I want to express my gratitude to Porto and Liverpool for their kind reception and welcome of him thus far.

“Thank God, Luis is a very disciplined player who is easy to like and respect because of the way he is, his work ethic, humility, and determination. Since Barcelona is a premier team and among the greatest in the world, there would be no issues if Luis joined.

Slot will have to choose between Diaz and other members of his team if he stays put. Following his impressive preseason, Bobby Clarke and Tyler Morton may be loaned out this season. Fabio Carvalho has been linked to both newly promoted Leicester and Southampton, who had a £15 million bid turned down.

PSG manager teases a £75 million attack on Liverpool while the transfer plan for Kylian Mbappe is revealed.

    Luis Enrique

PSG is preparing for life without Kylian Mbappe by acquiring some of Europe’s top attackers, according to transfer reports involving Liverpool.

In light of rumours linking Paris Saint-Germain to Liverpool player Luis Diaz, manager Luis Enrique has confirmed that the Ligue 1 winners will be active during the summer transfer window.

Reports surfaced during the close of the previous season that connected the Columbia international to an unexpected transfer to Paris. It has been suggested that Diaz, who has a contract with Anfield until 2027, is one among the players who may quit the team during a summer of transition.

Kylian Mbappe’s confirmed departure has PSG searching for a left-sided forward this summer. The France international, who is anticipated to sign with Real Madrid, played his final game for the team in the Coupe de France final victory over Lyon.

Towards the end of the season, Bradley Barcola replaced Mbappe, but it’s likely that another wide attacker will relocate to Paris. After the 2-1 victory over Lyon, Enrique was questioned about his plans for Mbappe’s replacement in the upcoming campaign.

“I have had the good fortune to coach Kylian this season, it has been a difficult one for him after seven years at his club and all that he has achieved, it is difficult to say goodbye,” Enrique stated.

“We will accomplish it with the team and any four, five, or six signings we can make. There is no replacement for Mbappe. The team that replaces Kylian will aim to win everything in the upcoming seasons with the support of the supporters.”

Recently, Diaz has downplayed any doubts about his future. After collecting Liverpool’s April player of the month award, Diaz declared, “I have grown a lot.” From the start of my career to the present, I believe that there are many lessons to be learned from the passing of time, from days to years, from experiencing every team and arriving at this wonderful Liverpool club.

“You acquire ever-increasing knowledge about becoming a better person, professional, team player, and nice guy. To be honest, I’m thrilled to be here. I’m confident that the club will have many more successful years to come.

As for me, I’ll always strive to give it my all, to always stand out on the pitch because that’s what I came [here] to accomplish. I always give thanks to God for every opportunity.

Liverpool is working harder to sign a £51 million attacker ahead of the summer transfer window.

After Jurgen Klopp bid the team farewell over the weekend, Liverpool are prepared to embark on a new chapter under manager Arne Slot.

With a competitive team that won the Carabao Cup and placed third in the Premier League this year, the German manager departs Liverpool.

To regain success both at home and in Europe, the Reds must still make adjustments.

Tutto Juve reports that Liverpool will boost up their efforts to recruit Federico Chiesa, a winger for Juventus, in order to bolster their assault. They also say that Chiesa may fetch as much as £51 million.

Club representatives saw Juventus’ victory over Atalanta in the Coppa Italia final. The versatile Italian wide-forward, who can play multiple positions, is being watched by the Reds.

The Premier League team would be wise to pursue him as a transfer target given his versatility in playing on the wing or behind the striker.

Following the return of Julian Ward and Michael Edwards to the team, the Merseyside club made the decision to bolster the assault by adding significant players to the roster.

Pedro Neto of Wolves (via Telegraph) and Mohammed Kudus of West Ham United (via Fichajes) have both been identified as possible targets for this summer.

They are, nevertheless, thinking about making a move for Chiesa, who finished the season with two assists and seven goals in 31 Serie A appearances.

His present contract with Juventus expires in2025, and negotiations to extend it have reached a deadlock.

Liverpool has an opportunity to seize this uncertainty and approach the player.

This summer, Liverpool needs a new wide attacker.

The transfer for the Juventus player demonstrates Liverpool’s goal to bolster their attack in the upcoming campaign.

Diogo Jota experienced fitness problems last season, and Luis Diaz and Cody Gakpo displayed erratic play.

The Serie A team is said to want to keep the player, but a price of about £51 million should be sufficient to sign him.

The Reds have financed a private aircraft to return to Merseyside in time for their vital Premier League match versus City, which begins at 12.30 p.m. on Thursday.

For their World Cup qualifying matches, Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz, Alisson, and Alexis Mac Allister were all in action early on Wednesday, November 22.

The players will have little over 72 hours to return to England, heal, and get ready for the match thanks to the early kickoff.

Liverpool is trying to prevent their South American players from being too tired before another post-international break kickoff at 12:30.

When Nunez and Diaz were benched for their match against Wolves in the early afternoon, they encountered the same problem in September.

Argentina and Brazil, respectively, had Mac Allister and Alisson on the pitch for the entire ninety minutes at Maracana Stadium, but the World Cup winners prevailed 1-0.

Nunez played seventy-three minutes and scored three goals in his fourth straight Uruguay game, defeating Bolivia 3-0. Diaz played eighty-one minutes in Colombia’s 1-0 victory over Paraguay.

Surprisingly missing from the team to play Brentford were Joe Gomez and Ibrahima Konate, the former of whom had to withdraw from his France international duties.

Regarding Barcelona's interest, Luis Diaz's father speaks out

The father of Luis Daiz has commented on the rumours that the forward for Liverpool is connected to Barcelona.

Following their kidnapping, the Colombian winger’s parents gained notoriety among Liverpool supporters and the football community at large. After being freed from captivity a little more than a week ago, Diaz’s father witnessed his son score twice in an emotional victory over Brazil on Friday morning.

Due to his impressive performances, there have been surprising rumours that Barcelona is interested in signing the Liverpool forward. When questioned about the possibility of his son transferring to Barcelona in the future, Diaz’s father acknowledged that he has always been a fan of the Catalan giants.

“To be honest, I don’t know much about Barcelona right now,” Diaz Sr. said to Win Sports, according to Sport Witness. It’s true that Luis adores Barcelona, and visiting the city is his dream. Liverpool finds out what Kylian Mbappe demands, after Real Madrid ends interest in a move.

Real Madrid has been strongly linked to signing Kylian Mbappe, but they have apparently given up on the attacker because of the high cost of doing so.

As Kylian Mbappe’s current contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires in the summer of 2020, the attacker will become free to sign with another team.

Any attempt to get Mbappe, though, will not come cheaply because of his enormous signing fee and bumper weekly income. The 24-year-old has been strongly connected to Real Madrid, and it was anticipated that he would play at the Bernabeu the following season.

The forward’s wage demands are reportedly too expensive for the La Liga giants to continue pursuing, though. Liverpool has been interested in signing Mbappe since 2017, according to a report earlier this month from the French publication L’Equipe.

Furthermore, according to rumours from Spain, the Reds are currently in the “best position” to finalise a deal for him. Mbappe is reportedly seeking a yearly salary of €35 million (£30.5 million) after taxes and a signing bonus of over €100 million (£87 million), according to AS and Sport Witness.

As his agent, Mbappe’s mother Fayza Lamari is a die-hard Liverpool supporter, and the player has already disclosed that he had discussions about relocating to Anfield before to joining PSG. “We had a brief but meaningful conversation last year,” he said to the Telegraph.

“We had a brief conversation. Liverpool is my mother’s favourite team, therefore that’s why I spoke with them. You’ll have to ask her why I have no idea! We met them five years ago, and they are a terrific club. They were with me in Monaco. The club is large.”

Additionally, Mbappe is adored by Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, who expressed this to RMC Sport in 2018 before the team’s Champions League matchup with PSG: “I love him, to be honest.” He’s a genuinely good child, just look at him, what a nice youngster and footballer he is.

“Amazing player, incredible player. Everyone has known him since he made an impression on Monaco’s youth teams when he was 16 or 17. I’ve watched footage of him breaking down defensive lines at that age, and that’s exactly what he’s doing today.

“At that age, he exhibits an incredible level of consistency.

He is undoubtedly a fantastic player, but he also has a lot of delivery skills, which demonstrates that he is a well-educated young man with expertise in his field.”

The 26-year-old has reportedly given Liverpool new life this season, "Like a new signing," according to pundits.

This season, Liverpool is off to a fantastic start in the Premier League.

The Reds haven’t lost in their first five games of the season, and while their performances haven’t always been spectacular, they have displayed a real cutting edge in attack.

In fact, the Merseyside club has been scoring goals like crazy lately, and Luis Diaz has made a significant contribution to the Liverpool attack.

Clinton Morrison, speaking on Premier League Productions, claimed that after missing significant amounts of last season due to injury, Diaz has returned with a mission to prove.
The winger, according to Morrison, appears to be a new addition at Anfield this season.

    Like a fresh signing

Morrison had nothing but positive things to say about Diaz.

“Diaz came off the bench and changed the game, that much I am certain of in that contest.
He, Nunez, and Diaz in particular.
With the injury he suffered last season, Diaz has been like a new signing for Liverpool.
He is an outstanding player and a top-tier player, according to Morrison.

    Been outstanding.

Morrison is absolutely correct; this season, Diaz has been like a new signing for Liverpool, and his rise to prominence has undoubtedly given this team new life.

Simply put, the winger is a fantastic player.
On that left wing, he can conjure something from nothing, and when he’s in top form, he’s impossible to contain.

The Colombian’s main goal this term is to stay healthy, but if he succeeds, he may end up as one of the Premier League’s players of the season.

This Liverpool team has undoubtedly received a new lease on life thanks to Diaz.

Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz, and Mohamed Salah score for Jurgen Klopp’s team as they defeat their Austrian rivals, LASK, 1-3.

As they began their Europa League campaign with victory over LASK, Liverpool came from behind to win for the fourth time in their previous five games.

The fact that Florian Flecker scored from the edge of the box to put Liverpool down 1-0 at the half must have worried Jurgen Klopp, who made 11 changes to his starting lineup.
It took a stroke of luck for the breakthrough after Darwin Nunez saw his point-blank range header brilliantly blocked by LASK goalkeeper Tobias Lawal.

Nunez converted the ensuing penalty kick into the corner after Luis Diaz was brought down in the area to tie Liverpool at 1-1.
When Ryan Gravenberch crossed low for Diaz to score on the break, they were in front seven minutes later.

Although Mohamed Salah scored a beautiful late goal for Liverpool, it was not classic play, and Gravenberch limping off won’t help matters. Klopp brought in the big guns off the bench to easily hold off their Austrian opponents for the three points.

    Starting slowly.

5 talking points as Liverpool overcomes a deficit to defeat LASK, but suffer another blow due to an injury.

    Liverpool struggle with sluggish starts.
Due diligence on the part of LASK led to the use of two blockers to give Flecker room on the edge of the box.
He made good use of it, beating Caoimhin Kelleher with an excellent effort.

Klopp is aware of the bigger problem at hand, though, as this was Liverpool’s fourth first-half goal conceded in their previous five games.
The lead against the Reds was taken by LASK along with Bournemouth (three minutes), Newcastle (25 minutes), and Wolves (7 minutes).

Liverpool is making it difficult for themselves to win even though they rallied to win all three of those games. That is not a viable strategy.
Klopp must address it because it is beginning to appear to be much more than a coincidence.

    Doak exudes confidence.

5 talking points as Liverpool overcomes a deficit to defeat LASK, but suffer another blow due to an injury.
Doak, who started for Liverpool on Thursday night, started a European game as the fourth-youngest player ever.

Although his youth may have suggested his status, observing him would not have revealed his lack of experience.

It’s understandable why Doak has Liverpool supporters buzzing.
On the right wing, the young Scot is a ball of energy who shone in Austria right away.

He ran at his man relentlessly, completely unafraid of dropping the ball.
He displays why he has Klopp’s trust through his quick feet and brisk burst of speed.
He will need to be patient as Mohamed Salah’s understudy, but he undoubtedly brings something unique to the table. He was removed from the game in the 60th minute after doing well.

    Gravenberch eager to please

5 talking points as Liverpool overcomes a deficit to defeat LASK, but suffer another blow due to an injury.

Because of his dissatisfaction with his limited playing time at Bayern Munich, Gravenberch left for Liverpool.
He was promised to Liverpool for £34 million, but he has had to wait to make his debut.

He wanted to impress his new manager, and that was immediately apparent.
He was seen cursing the ground during a period of the first half when he lost possession of the ball several times in a row.

Gravenberch was assigned to a more liberated No. 8 position, which he appeared to enjoy, with fellow newcomer Wataru Endo serving as the midfield’s anchor. The 21-year-old has a strong engine and an eye for the ball; before earning his first assist for Liverpool by bursting forward on the break and crossing for Diaz to score, he made three crucial passes.

Later, when he burst forward and botched a three-on-three opportunity with an errant pass, his eagerness did come across as trying a little too hard. He ran himself into the ground and was replaced shortly after.
Liverpool will be hoping it’s nothing serious after he limped gingerly off the field.

showing off the depth of the squad.

5 talking points as Liverpool overcomes a deficit to defeat LASK, but suffer another blow due to an injury.

The team that defeated Wolves 3-1 over the weekend underwent 11 changes under Klopp, who also mentioned the need for rotation in his pre-game interview.
He told TNT Sports, “We made the changes because we want to give everything in this competition.”.

Doak, Gravenberch, and a recovered Stefan Bajcetic all had opportunities, but they failed to seize them in the opening period.
Nunez’s clear-cut header was the only shot on goal for Liverpool, and Klopp must have been unsure of the strength of his team at the time.

However, Liverpool took charge as LASK grew drained and Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, Joe Gomez, and Salah came off the bench.

They will need their supporting players to perform better in the future as the Thursday-Sunday routine sets in.

    Quality is highlighted by Salah.

Three of Liverpool’s seasoned attackers made the difference in a game that was supposed to be about the fringe players rising to the occasion.

Nunez scored from the penalty spot, Diaz completed a quick counterattack, and Salah added the finishing touch by gliding through the defense and toe-poking in a third goal.
It was all about winning, and only winning, so Klopp won’t mind.

However, it demonstrates the gap between the starters’ attackers and their back-ups, though LASK’s drained legs should also be taken into account.

Saudi Arabia offers €50m for ANOTHER Liverpool star

    Al-Hilal
Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal  are reportedly ready to offer 50 million euros for Liverpool forward Luis Diaz at the request of coach Jorge Jesus.

Diaz, 26, missed most of last season through injury but returned for the final games of the season and is expected to play a key role at Anfield next year.

However, interest in Diaz from the Saudi Pro League could see Jurgen Klopp bereft of one of his greatest strengths.

The Colombian winger has four years left on his contract with Liverpool, having signed a five-and-a-half-year deal after leaving FC Porto in January 2022, but the Reds are unwilling to sell him this summer.

According to Portuguese Medium Record, Diaz is admired by Al Hilal manager Jesus and the Saudi side are preparing to make a €50m bid to persuade Liverpool to sell. But Klopp is determined to keep Diaz and will not approve a sale in this window as the 26-year-old is firmly entrenched in Liverpool’s plans for next season.

The Reds have plenty of attacking options for the 2023/24 season but they lost Roberto Firmino to Al Ahli on a free transfer. Moreover, Fabinho and Jordan Henderson could join the Brazilian in the Saudi Pro League.

Fabinho and Henderson in Saudi Arabia?
According to David Ornstein of The Athletic, “Al-Ittihad will approach Liverpool with a concrete offer to buy Fabinho.” The Saudi Pro League club’s bid for the 29-year-old Brazilian international is expected to be worth £40m and a decision one way or another is expected to be swift.”

    Al-Hilal
In addition, Henderson has been offered a mouth-watering weekly wage of €816,000 (£700,000) per week to join Al-Ettifaq, currently managed by Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard.

However, Klopp is reluctant to sell both without signing at least one more midfielder; Southampton’s Romeo Lavia looks like the more likely option.

Liverpool have already seen Naby Keita, James Milner and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain leave this summer, and that trio could soon be joined by Fabinho and Henderson as they leave Anfield. But it is extremely unlikely that Diaz will accompany them to new pastures.

Al-Hilal, the team interested in signing Diaz, has already added Ruben Neves, Kalidou Koulibaly and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic this summer.

Robbie Fowler, a former player for Liverpool, believes that the “outrage” over Jordan Henderson’s potential salary of £700,000 per week in Saudi Arabia is misplaced.

After much-publicized talks with Al-Ettifaq, Henderson joining Steven Gerrard’s management team would be welcomed by the former striker, who now oversees Saudi Arabia’s second-tier team Al Qadsiah.

He stated in his Mirror column that “Jordan Henderson’s alleged wages have caused the outrage.”. “I’ve never really understood why the salaries of football players are such a touchy subject, but the billions made by financiers are never called into question.

But first, let’s be clear about something. I won’t criticize Steven Gerrard, Jordan, or anyone else who has worked in Saudi Arabia or is considering doing so. Not because I’m taking the money as well — that just isn’t true.

“As I’ve previously stated, I accepted a position in the league beneath the Saudi Pro League because I’m ambitious to become a manager and because I want to establish my credentials. I haven’t had that opportunity in the UK. ”.

Al-Ettifaq are reportedly having financial difficulties paying Liverpool’s £20 million asking price for Henderson, despite their sizable wage offer.

Another Reds midfielder, Fabinho, may be leaving for the Middle East after receiving a £40 million offer from Al-Ittihad.

Some worry that Arabian football will deprive the Premier League of its best players, a worry that Fowler is unconcerned about along with the fees changing hands. Dissatisfaction with the region’s record on equality and human rights has been expressed by others.

Fowler continued, “I am close with Stevie and I know Jordan well. I believe Steven is similar to me in that he wants to manage, he wants to establish himself, and since leaving Aston Villa, the right opportunity hasn’t appeared.

“Now that he has the support of a major team, he plays in a league that aspires to improvement and to ranking among the best leagues in the world. An ambitious manager has a fantastic opportunity to advance.

“Yes, there has been money thrown at this large project, but we can all ponder why there is that financial backing now. Has the Premier League’s identical action been criticized by anyone?
