According to sources, Chelsea management is keeping a close eye on an up-and-coming star and may try to sign the forward to Stamford

In January, Chelsea wants to improve its offensive capabilities.

According to sources, Chelsea management is keeping a close eye on an up-and-coming star and may try to sign the forward to Stamford Bridge in an effort to solve their goal-scoring problems.

What is the most recent Chelsea news?
The Evening Standard reports that Mauricio Pochettino, the manager of Chelsea, has admitted that he had little to do with the decision of whether to keep defender Marc Cucurella at Stamford Bridge after the Spaniard’s late transfer to Manchester United fell through on Deadline Day.

“I don’t know,” said Pochettino, “since I wasn’t involved in this issue; that was more the responsibility of the club, the [player’s] agent, and the sporting director. We were conversing in my office after the transfer window closed. We were very clear about my opinion of him and how I judge him, and I was attentive to his sentiments. Of course, after he arrived from Brighton, it was a trying period for him. It was difficult for many, many players in addition to him.

Monday night’s Premier League match between Chelsea and their neighbours Fulham will be played in their new front-of-shirt sponsor Infinite Athlete for the first time this season. According to BBC Sport, Chelsea and the US-based sports technology company have agreed to a deal that will earn them more than £40 million in 2023–24.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano provided an update on the situation of Chelsea prospect Andrey Santos, who is now on loan at Nottingham Forest, on social media platform X. He said: “Andrey Santos played zero minutes once more in Nottingham Forest-Brentford, sitting on the sidelines for 99 minutes. After making more than ten loan requests over the summer, he transferred from Chelsea to the club in August.

According to Transfermarkt, Santos, a member of Brazil’s Under-23 national team, has only appeared once while on loan at Tricky Trees, playing the full 90 minutes in Nottingham Forest’s Carabao Cup second-round loss to Burnley in late August.

Chelsea will add who in 2024?

According to sources, Chelsea management is keeping a close eye on an up-and-coming star and may try to sign the forward to Stamford

Simon Adingra, a Brighton & Hove Albion player, is being closely watched by Stamford Bridge officials, who are reportedly impressed by his impressive start to the new season.

The Blues are considering a move for the Ivory Coast international to add another attacking option and to compete with Nicolas Jackson. Adingra has been dubbed the “ideal” solution to Pochettino’s lack of cutting edge in attack. The 21-year-old has been added to Todd Boehly and company’s transfer wishlist because they specifically want players under the age of 25.

According to Transfermarkt, the Ivorian forward has appeared seven times for the Seagulls in all competitions this season, recording one goal and one assist.

Brighton technical director David Weir gave the Right to Dream academy alum high praise when he arrived from FC Nordsjaelland in 2022, saying: “We’re happy to welcome Simon to the club. He is a talented young footballer who is off to a great start in Denmark. He is a versatile offensive player who excels in one-on-one matchups and is inventive offensively. We’ve been keeping an eye on this outstanding young player for a long, and we’re excited to support his growth.

Adingra has excelled in the area of interceptions in comparison to his positional peers in Europe’s top five leagues by working hard off the ball. Over the past 365 days, he averaged about 1.19 interceptions per 90 minutes, placing him in the 99th percentile for this metric according to FBRef, demonstrating his hard work when pressing from the front.

Adingra would bring a lot of distinctive talents to Pochettino’s forward line, which is developing a reputation as a breeding ground for young talent thanks to Chelsea.

Ivan Toney signs, Cucurella leaves, Maatsen decision – Chelsea’s January transfer plans reveale

football.london takes a detailed look at what Chelsea could do when the transfer window opens in January 2024 and what areas of the team the board would like to address

The summer transfer window may have just ended, but people’s curiosity about the next signing never wanes.

Chelsea spent more than £400 million on new signings over the summer – far more than any other Premier League club.

The Blues were tasked with tackling several areas of the team before the window even opened, and with all the departures that followed, replacements had to be found.

This has led to another turbulent and quite extraordinary transfer window under American billionaire Todd Boehly, who – along with Clearlake Capital – has spent over £1 billion on transfer deals since taking over the club from west London last May.

We are now a few months away from another transfer window, but with the international break approaching and there not being too much to talk about in club football, what better way to spend it than waiting until January impatiently? Here, football.london takes a look at what Chelsea may need to tackle as the mid-season window opens…

    A new striker

Nicolas Jackson is expected to take part in the African Cup of Nations in January and represent Senegal at the continental tournament.
This leaves Chelsea very tight when it comes to central striker options.

By then, the club hopes Christopher Nkunku will be fit and available, but he may not be in top form after a long period of inactivity due to a knee injury.

Furthermore, Mauricio Pochettino liked to use Nkunku almost as a ‘second striker’ during the matches he played in pre-season, so we don’t really know what the Chelsea manager has in mind for the man the club signed for 52 million pounds in the summer window.

Armando Broja is expected to be able to return to action after the current international break for the first time since last December, so Chelsea are hoping to make him available in January, with Jackson likely to miss out. But the Blues could recruit another center forward during the mid-season transfer window.

football.london understands that adding another central striker in Jackson was on the agenda at Chelsea this summer but was never a priority.

Several options have been explored out the window, including Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic, but no official action has been taken.

Ivan Toney is someone who has been interested in Chelsea for some time and when his football ban ends in January, a move for the Brentford striker could be on the cards. However, signing someone who has missed more than half the season due to suspension carries a risk in itself.

    More player sales

Chelsea released almost an entire squad of players during the summer transfer window, but there’s still more to come in January.
There are a number of players who came close to leaving over the summer and could still leave mid-season.

Marc Cucurella, for example, at one point seemed ready for a loan to Manchester United.
However, the Red Devils, who were looking for options following injuries to left-back pair Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia, had reservations about the Spaniard and opted for Tottenham defender Sergio Reguilon instead.

Cucurella is someone Chelsea would be happy to let go of if the right offer was made for him. The club would prefer a permanent move for the former Brighton full-back, who has failed to impress since his expensive signing last summer, but would compromise with a loan deal.

Without Cucurella, the Blues would be willing to release Ian Maatsen, according to football.london.
This was the case this summer when the club wanted one of them to replace Ben Chilwell, who has struggled with injury problems in recent years.

    More player sales

However, Chelsea are trying to tie Maatsen down to a new contract as his current contract expires at the end of the season.
However, we don’t know if it’s because they’ve done an about-face and changed their mind about Maatsen, or if it’s just because they want to protect the Dutchman’s value.

Trevoh Chalobah was also on the verge of a move just before the transfer deadline last week. The Cobham graduate, who is still recovering from injury, was keen to join Bayern Munich as the German champions wanted to take the defender on loan.

However, Chelsea were seeking a permanent deal with Chalobah but demanded up to £50m for his signature.

The signing of Axel Disasi as Wesley Fofana’s serious injury became known all but confirmed for Chalobah that Pochettino did not view the centre-back as a direct replacement for the team.

The club will also be looking to get rid of Malang Sarr, who has flown somewhat under the radar in recent months.

Sarr, who is clearly not part of Pochettino’s plans at Stamford Bridge, was interested in his services from France this summer, but a move for the 24-year-old defender never materialized.

  • Chelsea can finally complete Mauricio Pochettino’s dream move with two ideal deals.

Chelsea can finally complete Mauricio Pochettino’s dream move with two ideal deals.

Chelsea transfer news: The Blues were given a lifeline at the end of the knockout stages and could secure a stunning deal if Jadon Sancho finally heads
Chelsea transfer news: The Blues were given a lifeline at the end of the knockout stages and could secure a stunning deal if Jadon Sancho finally heads to Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea’s transfer record over the past decade has been a boon. Most clubs have similar stories of failures and deals that went wrong, failed and quickly lost hope. Yet for the same team that secured Eden Hazard past his rivals for £30million, conceded him over 100 goals and then sold him for more than treble, there are players like Alvaro Morata scattered around the small characters.

Morata himself hasn’t proved as bad as he could have been at Chelsea, with a new pantheon of bad deals created in the past two years alone. It’s hard to say, but Romelu Lukaku’s clumsy and disastrous £97.5million move from Inter in 2021 has quite a contender.

A year on from a £60m move for Brighton’s Player of the Season, the club are already considering ending links as soon as possible and in whatever form they can. Marc Cucurella has clearly been a failure and at just 25 it seems hard to imagine how things will change.

The real winner and as often the only winner here is Brighton. They sold Cucurella, joined Pervis Estupinan and could likely salvage over £60million for him, while their former left-back remains unwanted in the top flight just 12 months after his move. Under Thomas Tuchel he was thrilling for a full 30 minutes against Everton before his season and that decision went downhill. The reunion with Graham Potter could not save him, Frank Lampard did not succeed and Mauricio Pochettino has not yet turned to him in the competition. The loan deal, with Lewis Hall almost certain to be sold to Newcastle, is partly due to the arrival of Cucurella.

It’s not that he should be blamed for failed games and high fees for players who too often do very little in modern football to be healthy, but Cucurella’s position as a mere player. The occupation is a place in the team is detrimental to everyone. He has little chance of proving his abilities since he was tried during the preparation for the position of central defender but is now eliminated. Pochettino has to work with a player who is out of shape, lacking in confidence and already sidelined in long-term plans. Nobody wins.

Ian Maatsen is kept out of his more natural role in defence, although even in attack he has been welcomed more favorably by Pochettino and could be the sole beneficiary of Hall’s departure and of what is to come for Cucurella. Ben Chilwell won’t move unless injury mars his season again, so Cucurella is now effectively the third choice for a position in which he specializes.

It’s a regrettable situation, frankly, but Manchester United’s shocking interest opens the door. First of all, Chelsea shouldn’t assume that there’s a real interest in a player they don’t fully need. Concerns over Luke Shaw’s fitness at Old Trafford have given Chelsea a chance to rid themselves of a major problem, if only for a season.

Chelsea transfer news: The Blues were given a lifeline at the end of the knockout stages and could secure a stunning deal if Jadon Sancho finally heads
There is a chance here that Cucurella can rebuild his value, form and confidence elsewhere and the stark reality is that even in a bad season his position can hardly deteriorate. Newcastle have expressed interest but have opted for a younger, more flexible model who currently has much more to offer at seven years younger. Saudi Arabia has also not called yet and it would be a brave person to rely on even more clubs expressing many options. Therefore, Chelsea really should be pushed to accept whatever they can get when it comes to keeping Cucurella going for a longer period of time. In return, who knows, they might be able to hit a previous target.

While there is no concrete news linking this to, Chelsea fans have expressed a desire and interest to see the club press Jadon Sancho again in light of possible talks with the Red Devils over Cucurella. Sancho has played in every game so far this season, but hasn’t played more than half an hour off the bench for Erik ten Hag.

Bruno Fernandes, Christian Eriksen, Antony, Marcus Rashford and now Mason Mount are all thinking of Sancho and his return with just nine goals and assists in 58 games is still disappointing to say the least. There have been signs of a return to form which had brought the world – Chelsea included – on the heels of Borussia Dortmund to sign him in 2021, but nothing to offer any real justification for his large investment.

Sancho fell out of favor and fell out of favor. As a childhood Chelsea fan, one is tempted to wonder if this problem can still be solved. The Blues want to sign a new striker before the September 1 window closes. They don’t have a number 10 due to Christopher Nkunku being injured and Sancho could be that man. Some of his best performances in England come from the center where he can act as an elite finisher and dribbler rather than a fast counter-attacker. He has the ability to drift on the flanks and excite. With the clubs currently in direct talks over an expensive flop, why not come up with a different name to at least start a dialogue and see if anything is possible?

For a loan deal, this could be the start of an unexpected but potentially game-changing deal for both parties. After years of waiting, Sancho is someone to consider in the Chelsea squad, even if the prospect of a deal seems far-fetched.

Chelsea News & Transfers LIVE: Deal Reached, Frimpong Interest, Lukaku Rejected, Cucurella Exit
Chelsea transfer news: Find out about all the main Chelsea headlines, including updates on Djordje Petrovic, Marc Cucurella and Romelu Lukaku.

Chelsea have finally picked up their first win of the new season and are looking to build on their early appearances for a successful campaign. The focus turns to the cup game, with a draw against AFC Wimbledon in the Carabao Cup midweek.

Elsewhere, we’re in the final week of the summer transfer window, meaning any last-minute deals require that finishing touch. Marc Cucurella has been linked with a move to Manchester United, while Romelu Lukaku is also believed to be a potential departure.

    Frimpong to replace James

Chelsea have named Bayer Leverkusen defender Jeremy Frimpong as a possible replacement for the injured Reece James.

As reported by football.scotland, Frimpong has attracted interest thanks to his performance at Leverkusen. The Dutch international has long been teetering on a move to the Premier League after proving to be one of Europe’s most talented attacking full-backs.

    Lukaku Dortmund rejection

According to Corriere dello Sport, Lukaku rejected a last-minute approach from Borussia Dortmund this summer regarding a move to Roma. According to reports, in the last 24 hours Dortmund would have emerged as an interest of Lukaku to hijack the Roma deal. But the striker has no interest in moving to the Bundesliga.

Chelsea lose the agreement with Kudus.

Mohammed Kudus has signed a five-year deal with the option of a further year at West Ham United before completing his £38.2million move from Ajax, according to The Athletic.

The 23-year-old attacking midfielder flew to London on Saturday to complete a medical with the Premier League outfit and his transfer will be announced on Monday. The deal also includes a 10% resale clause.

Chelsea were interested in signing the Ghana international but are close to joining the Hammers.

Manchester United are considering a move to Chelsea’s Cucurella.

Chelsea News & Transfers LIVE: Deal Reached, Frimpong Interest, Lukaku Rejected, Cucurella Exit
Manchester United are considering a move for Marc Cucurella after Luke Shaw was sidelined for a long time with a muscle injury, according to The Athletic.

United and Chelsea have held informal talks and Chelsea are said to be considering a possible loan move, although the 25-year-old could still remain at the club after the UK transfer window closes on Friday. Brennan Johnson offer

Tottenham will beat Chelsea with the signing of Nottingham Forest star Brennan Johnson before the summer transfer window closes.

According to The Telegraph, Spurs are expected to submit a £50m bid to sign Johnson this week.

    Lukaku update.

Chelsea News & Transfers LIVE: Deal Reached, Frimpong Interest, Lukaku Rejected, Cucurella Exit
Romelu Lukaku is ever closer to a move to Roma and further talks are expected today. The Chelsea star is training away from the senior side to decide his future.

    Decision of Rayan Cherki.

L’Équipe reports that Rayan Cherki will stay at Olympique Lyonnais this season despite interest from Chelsea, Newcastle United, Aston Villa and West Ham United.

Newcastle, Aston Villa and West Ham continue to try to sign Cherki as the transfer deadline approaches. However, the most likely scenario is that he still has a year left at Lyon.

Chelsea star drops Manchester United transfer advice over Marc Cucurella

Chelsea star Nicolas Jackson may have hinted at Marc Cucurella’s possible move to Manchester United in the coming summer transfer window days.

It comes as the Spaniard has been linked with a move to Old Trafford and contacted over the possibility of a loan deal. The Red Devils are looking for a cheaper option when it comes to their left-back options in the transfer window with Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia both injured.

As for Cucurella, the links follow a nightmarish first year with the Blues after he joined for £62m from Brighton last summer. The Spaniard has been named 2021/22 Player of the Season for the Seagulls, sparking transfer interest from the west London club. The left-back struggled to settle in as a series of notorious errors combined with poor results created a difficult atmosphere. Cucurella was repeatedly booed by Chelsea fans last season, with many unhappy with the expensive signing.

Mauricio Pochettino makes significant Chelsea transfer decision with Marc Cucurella departure hintChelsea transfer news as Mauricio Pochettino’s team has continued to take shape throughout the summer transfer window and the left-back position may now be resolved.

Mauricio Pochettino might have just made a suggestion about what Chelsea will do next this summer.

At Stamford Bridge, Todd Boehly has brought in seven new players, spending nearly £200 million on players like Christopher Nkunku, Nicolas Jackson, Axel Disasi, and Robert Sanchez. Regular members of the first team have left Stamford Bridge this summer in significant numbers.

In a busy summer, N’Golo Kante, Edouard Mendy, Christian Pulisic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Kai Havertz, Mason Mount, and Mateo Kovacic all joined Premier League rivals, while Mateo Kovacic also joined rivals from the Italian league.

Up until September 1 more incomings and outgoings should be finished. The search for a new center-forward will now be prioritized following the £25 million arrival of goalkeeper Sanchez.

Pochettino’s team still needs improvement in a few key areas, though. With Ben Chilwell as his first-choice left-back and Ian Maatsen and Marc Cucurella as his second- and third-choices, respectively, the Argentine has three options going into the new campaign.

It has since been reported that Pochettino has made a choice regarding Maatsen’s future. The Blues manager informed Maatsen that he wanted to keep him at Stamford Bridge for the remainder of the year, according to the Evening Standard.

Mauricio Pochettino makes significant Chelsea transfer decision with Marc Cucurella departure hint
With Ben Chilwell as his first-choice left-back and Ian Maatsen and Marc Cucurella as his backup options, the Argentine has three options going into the new campaign.

Currently, it is said that Pochettino has made a decision regarding Maatsen’s future. The Blues manager reportedly told Maatsen he wants to keep him at Stamford Bridge this year, according to the Evening Standard.

According to the report, after the club’s successful preseason tour of the United States, contract renewal discussions have started. The Dutchman stated his desire to remain at Chelsea earlier in the transfer window, and it now appears that he will face competition from Chilwell in 2019.

Only one year remains on Maatsen’s current contract, and it’s been reported that a few clubs are interested in signing him. Along with Champions League clubs Ajax and Lens, West Ham and Burnley were two other teams that were closely linked.

Marc Cucurella may be traded this summer as a result of Pochettino’s decision to hold onto Maatsen. When asked about the competition at left-back, Pochettino recently gave the impression that the former Brighton player might depart. He said: “At the moment he [Cucurella] is okay, he is good. Each player begins at a blank slate. It’s all about competing. He and Chilly must contend for this position since they are both available to us. Of course, we have four players who play the same position in addition to Lewis and Ian.

The equilibrium we previously discussed is represented by that. We must increase our player pool because the squad occasionally lacks balance because we may have four players at a position where we may need more. To have the chance to compete for a position, we must assemble a balanced team. We must avoid including players who would only be the third or fourth choice to play, as this would make it impossible for four players to compete for one position. “.

Chelsea injury news: Christopher Nkunku raises injury concerns for the Blues ahead of next week’s game against Liverpool

Chelsea have completed their preparations for the season and are just eight days away from their Premier League season opener against Liverpool.

The Blues are hoping for full squad availability for the match at Stamford Bridge but will be sweating the fitness of new signing Christopher Nkunku. With three wins and two draws in friendlies as part of a pre-season tour of the United States, head coach Mauricio Pochettino has given fans plenty of hope to reverse the sad conclusion of last season .

One of the new faces on board is Nkunku, who joined the Blues from RB Leipzig in the summer after agreeing to move months ago. The striker kicked off the Bundesliga and was the league’s top scorer despite missing the majority of games. This was due to injury concerns, something he has occasionally struggled with in his career so far and something the West London side will want to avoid. There were signs the Frenchman was improving his fitness this summer, but that took a turn against Borussia Dortmund.

With Nkunku at risk of being sidelined for the new season, here’s a look at the latest developments regarding the new Chelsea player’s injury concerns.

Christopher Nkunku's latest Chelsea injury: Liverpool concern, big boost, Pochettino claim
According to a report by The Guardian, Chelsea are optimistic that Nkunku has not suffered a serious injury, but there are doubts that he will be ready for the opening game of the season. The Blues await more information on the extent of the problem, but the striker could miss the match against Liverpool. Complaint by Mauricio Pochettino

Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has claimed Nkunku is under investigation due to injury concerns following his substitution against Borussia Dortmund. He told reporters: “The doctors are examining him. He had a chance to score but he feels something in his knee.

“Hopefully it’s not a big deal and he can settle into the team quickly. We need a few days to assess him and until we get back to London it’s is hard to say.” We always take risks because the ground is not perfect because it is used for different sports and sometimes it is the risk of the Tour.

“I think the situation was a bit unfortunate, but we can’t complain about the pitch and blame the pitch for why he got injured. It was bad luck for me.

As Mauricio Pochettino faced a triple dilemma, a Chelsea star revealed his audacious summer transfer stance.

Despite moving from Brighton to Chelsea in a deal worth a staggering £63 million, Marc Cucurella struggled to make an impression for the Blues last season.

Marc Cucurella has declared his intention to remain at Chelsea and compete for a spot in the starting lineup. The 25-year-old defender’s future at Stamford Bridge is a little uncertain because Ben Chilwell and Ian Maatsen are also vying for Mauricio Pochettino’s attention during preseason.

Cucurella, who moved to the Blues from Brighton last summer in a deal worth more than £60 million, made 24 Premier League appearances for the team and contributed to eight clean sheets. The Spaniard struggled to make an impression in his first season, and traveling Chelsea fans frequently booed him.

He’s vowed to turn a new leaf and demonstrate that he is capable of achieving the lofty heights his price tag suggests, despite a miserable start to life in west London. Cucurella stated: “I read a lot of things [about a transfer], but I am happy here.

“The project is why I came here. The first season was undoubtedly difficult, but not just for me; it was difficult for all the players because, when you lose, you don’t feel satisfied.

It is challenging to maintain happiness when you don’t play well, he continued. But that was in the past, so if the manager says they want me to stay and be a part of the squad, I will be thrilled and will do everything in my power to help the team. Additionally, I want to display my abilities to the audience and my teammates. “.

As Mauricio Pochettino faced a triple dilemma, a Chelsea star revealed his audacious summer transfer stance.
Cucurella went on to discuss the psychological difficulties he encountered last season away from football. He said: “I understand [the criticism] because they want to try if you don’t play well, the people are angry with you and the manager.

“However, individuals like you and I must also be understood by the public. We have private lives and problems outside of football because we are human. Despite your best efforts, sometimes your mental state may not be the best.

“Obviously, it’s difficult when people criticize you, but this is the past. I am very pleased with my preseason performance and am determined to have a successful season.

“I have a lot of energy because I know my abilities, and if I concentrate on what I’m going to do, I can give it my all. I didn’t just come here for a year. I like the team, the ideas, and the project. “.

Cucurella continued, “Last season for me was very difficult because normally in my career, I always play a lot and this season I play, but not where I like and I don’t find my level. All of these things are better for me because I feel stronger now and have learned a lot.

“I experience different circumstances that I have never experienced in the past. It’s a lesson I’ve learned in life that sometimes bad things happen in the present but turn out to be better in the long run because you feel empowered and know what to do.
    “.

This season, Chilwell is anticipated to start for Chelsea under Pochettino, and Maatsen has proven to be a strong backup, so Cucurella will face stiff competition for a spot in the starting lineup. Fortunately for the Spaniard, he is known to be able to play both on the wing and in midfield, so his versatility makes for a fascinating conundrum.

Tottenham Hotspur is considering a move for the £60 million Chelsea star.
Tottenham Hotspur, a rival team in London, is interested in Chelsea defender Marc Cucurella.

Marc Cucurella, a defender for Chelsea, is reportedly a target for Tottenham Hotspur this transfer window, according to Football Transfers (h/t Evening Standard).

Ivan Perisic, who joined Tottenham from Inter Milan in the summer, is likely to leave north London after just one season and Spurs are looking to replace him in the team.

Chelsea is eager to unload Cucurella during this transfer window after paying more than £60 million to acquire the player from Brighton one year ago. To put it mildly, the Spaniard’s debut for the club wasn’t particularly impressive.

It was revealed a few days ago that the 24-year-old intends to remain at Stamford Bridge and contend for a starting position under the new manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Saudi Arabian buyers have been considered by Chelsea. Atletico Madrid had shown interest, but Cucurella’s agent dispelled it as a false rumor.

The former Brighton defender was everywhere in a blue shirt last season. He can play as a left-sided center-back in a three or a left-back in a four. He had trouble on defense and occasionally the home crowd even booed him.

It does seem strange that they want to let go of the player after just one campaign considering how much money they spent on him a year ago. However, it appears that is the way that modern football operates. Ruthless!

Cucurella didn’t have much of an impact here, so selling him to Tottenham won’t hurt either this time. Unless he plays Chelsea, he can go there and hopefully have a successful career.

Although it would be unrealistic to ask Spurs to pay what Chelsea did for the Spaniard last year, he is still worth a good portion of that, so the price would be crucial in this potential deal.

    More news……..

Two Serie A sales could determine Lukaku’s future; the striker’s 10 goals could be crucial.

Tottenham Hotspur is considering a move for the £60 million Chelsea star.
It was obvious that it was “club briefing Saturday” when suddenly several journalists covering Chelsea reported that Inter had had their most recent offer for the forward rejected and that Chelsea wanted €45 million for him.

It appears that both Juventus and the Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal are thinking about making an offer at that value.

Don’t discount Inter just yet, though. They appear to be close to transferring goalkeeper Andre  Onana to Manchester United, which would finally give them some extra cash for spending.

In a similar vein, Juventus’ purchase of Lukaku is unlikely unless they can find a home for Dusan Vlahovic, their most recent experiment with the number 9. In Serie A last season, the Serb scored 10 goals, matching Lukaku’s total.

In spite of our desire to get rid of Lukaku as soon as possible, we might need to practice patience and wait until those other deals are completed.

Except, of course, if the Belgian decides to move to Saudi Arabia after all.

At the European Championships, the 20-year-old is playing for England’s Under-21 team. On Saturday night, the young Three Lions will play Spain in the competition’s championship match, with Chelsea winger Noni Madueke joining Colwill on the field.

“We spoke with Levi and Noni yesterday. Noni, a Tottenham player in the Under-18s, is one that I am familiar with. In his first press conference as Chelsea’s head coach, Pochettino said, “Of course, I know Levi.

In the midst of a Liverpool transfer rumor, Mauricio Pochettino confirms Levi Colwill talks with Chelsea.
“I hope tomorrow will be a good day for them.
True, the fact that they are in Spain makes it challenging for me.
We send them our best wishes. We are anticipating their addition to the group. They probably will fly to America and join us there. “.

Liverpool is seeking any kind of motivation to sign Colwill to a contract. But Chelsea is determined to get the Cobham grad a new, long-term contract at Stamford Bridge in the near future.

In his first few days as head coach, Pochettino has already met a significant number of his new players at Cobham. When the Argentine was questioned about his goals at Stamford Bridge, he simply stated that winning is the reason he accepted the position.

“Winning is my goal,” he stated. You can’t just talk about doing a good job and playing well when you’re at a club like Chelsea. Obviously, we must prevail. “
