Chelsea is prepared to sign Lavia in addition to Caicedo In second Liverpool blow

Chelsea's extravagant spending will likely continue as they get closer to a potential £45 million transfer.
By snatching Southampton’s Roméo Lavia from Liverpool, Chelsea is poised to continue their spending binge.

Jürgen Klopp is preparing for more disappointment in his search for a new midfielder after Liverpool already missed out on Caicedo, whose preferred destination was Stamford Bridge.

On Sunday night, Southampton accepted a bid from the Merseyside club for Lavia worth up to £60 million, but the 19-year-old has yet to decide to sign with them.

Chelsea is optimistic that a deal to acquire Lavia will soon be completed. Despite not having an agreement with Southampton, they anticipate paying £50 million for the Belgian player, plus any additional fees.

With the most recent acquisitions, Chelsea will have spent close to £900 million since being acquired by Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital last summer. How they will comply with financial fair play rules will be questioned in light of the expenditure. Kepa Arrizabalaga, the goalkeeper, joined Real Madrid on loan, and they have already moved 13 players out this summer. A few more players may leave before the transfer window closes on September 1.

On Sunday, Klopp took a shot at Chelsea’s spending, saying that their managers typically get what they want. Liverpool had a bid of £111 million accepted for Caicedo, but Chelsea outbid them with a bid of £100 million plus an additional £15 million. He has an eight-year contract with the possibility of an additional year, and he might play when Chelsea visits West Ham on Sunday.

Mauricio Pochettino has been scrambling to bolster his midfield depth. Mason Mount, Mateo Kovacic, N’Golo Kanté, Jorginho, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are among the players Chelsea has allowed to leave this year. On Sunday, they drew 1-1 with Liverpool, starting with a midfield of Enzo Fernández, Conor Gallagher, and Carney Chukwuemeka. Gallagher could be sold to raise money after Lavia arrives.

Fernández became the most expensive player in English football history when Chelsea acquired him in January for £106.8 million. With the addition of Caicedo, Pochettino now has midfield talent worth more than £200 million after the Argentina midfielder shone against Liverpool.

Brighton was tough to deal with; they demanded at least £100 million for Caicedo and turned down multiple offers for the 21-year-old. The Ecuadorian midfielder, who cost £4.5m to sign with the Seagulls from Independiente del Valle in February 2021, has a sell-on clause negotiated.

Tyler Adams’ Leeds contract’s £20 million release clause has been activated by Bournemouth. The 24-year-old American international’s transfer to Chelsea fell through when Chelsea intensified talks with Caicedo and Lavia. The player was set to join Chelsea. In addition, Liverpool and Adams have been mentioned.

The midfielder will become Bournemouth’s eighth summer addition, and the team is hopeful. After Leeds was demoted to the Championship in May, Adams’ release clause became effective.

Chelsea's extravagant spending will likely continue as they get closer to a potential £45 million transfer.
As they get closer to a deal regarding Crystal Palace star Michael Olise, Chelsea is reportedly going to keep up their outrageous spending in the transfer market.

According to the Evening Standard, the Blues and Olise are close to reaching a personal agreement, and they hope to sign the 21-year-old Frenchman for about £45 million.

Although the competition is likely to be quite fierce in this squad so full of new signings under Todd Boehly’s ownership, Olise has impressed during his time at Selhurst Park and it would be intriguing to see him make the transition to a club like Chelsea.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea also appear to have a deal in place for Moises Caicedo, and a report from the Evening Standard claims that they are in advanced negotiations with Southampton’s Romeo Lavia.

Since taking over at Stamford Bridge, new manager Mauricio Pochettino has received a lot of support in the transfer market, making Olise an excellent addition to this Chelsea team.

This comes after a long list of notable departures from the club this summer, including those of Mason Mount, Kai Havertz, N’Golo Kante, Mateo Kovacic, Cesar Azpilicueta, and Edouard Mendy.

Michael Olise has reportedly reached a personal agreement with Chelsea to join his old club, according to reports coming out of France this morning.

Earlier in the transfer window, we were rumored to be interested in the 21-year-old, but Christopher Nkunku’s injury presumably (re-)inspired these efforts. While currently injured, Olise is anticipated to make a full recovery within a month.

Even though there hasn’t been an agreement with Crystal Palace yet, doing so would only require paying their asking price, which appears to be more than £30 million. We’re willing to spend a lot of money, so I don’t think the fee will stop us in this case either, given our spending habits.

With all the space the Liverpool back line will inevitably leave behind them, Mudryk could have a lot of fun playing against them. Mudryk, who wants to succeed at the Bridge, would be the ideal candidate to launch a counterattack, which could be extremely important.

Similarly, Nicolas Jackson, who cost about £30 million to sign with the team earlier this summer, has already made it abundantly clear to his teammates that he wants the ball passed over the top to him so he can enter the play from behind. Jackson had a fantastic preseason and displayed his all-around talent, but he has a knack for playing on the last defender’s shoulder and snatching up errant passes.

On Sunday, either of these attackers could pose serious difficulties for Liverpool. The rest of the team must attempt to withstand what is anticipated to be a ferocious press from the opponents at Stamford Bridge.

what Mauricio Pochettino did to Chelsea supporters during yesterday’s game between Liverpool

Report: Chelsea and Michael Olise have personal terms agreed upon.
According to reports, Mauricio Pochettino tried his hardest to get the Chelsea supporters at Stamford Bridge to make more noise in the waning seconds of the game.

As the Blues pushed for a victory, the West London crowd reportedly responded to his efforts with a rousing cheer, according to The Athletic.

Pochettino visited Stamford Bridge yesterday for the first time in his capacity as the home manager, and based on the response he received, it appears that fans are extremely enthusiastic about his appointment.

These emotions will only have grown stronger after the performance his team put on against Liverpool.

The Blues felt like they were most likely to come away from the opening weekend with a victory, despite only leaving with a point.

There were a few particularly strong performances. Reece James, the new captain, and Ben Chilwell, the vice-captain, both demonstrated their abilities and what they can bring, especially moving forward.

Chelsea fans were energized by Pochettino.

Axel Disasi also scored on his debut for the Blues, who lined up in a different system than they had in preseason. His inclusion was perhaps a surprise given how they had previously used a different system.

Despite this, Enzo Fernandez was unquestionably the star, playing a more important role than he had during the previous season.

Pochettino was likely impressed by what he witnessed. On a competitive stage, he also gave six players their Chelsea debuts.

Next weekend, when they travel across the capital to play West Ham United, he will be hoping to be able to give out another one.

It was previously reported that they had finally reached an agreement to sign Moises Caicedo from Brighton.

He will hopefully be able to play on Sunday after having his medical today.

Updates on transfers and Chelsea LIVE: Liverpool prediction, Romeo Lavia hint, and Moises Caicedo dealThe latest Chelsea headlines, transfer gossip and injury news from Stamford Bridge, including updates on Moises Caicedo, Romeo Lavia and the Blues’ clash against Liverpool

In each of their four meetings so far, the game has ended 0-0 after 90 minutes, but the longer Mosies Caicedo’s standoff lasts, the more tense it is likely to be. Liverpool are believed to have been first to agree a deal with Brighton for the 21-year-old midfielder, who originally prefers a move to west London.

Still, the transfer race appears to be coming to an end, but it remains to be seen who will emerge victorious. Moreover, Romeo Lavia continues to be heavily linked with a move to Chelsea amid an inevitable departure from Southampton.

Michael Olise has also been a key target for the Blues this summer but speculation of a Crystal Palace exit has died down of late. So stick with us at football.london as we bring you the latest news, transfer gossip and injuries throughout the day.

    Liverpool Prediction

Jamie Carragher has revealed who he thinks will emerge victorious when Chelsea take on Liverpool this weekend. The Blues are set to host the Reds at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon as both sides look to start the new Premier League campaign with three points.

In an interview with the Daily Telegraph he said: “Last season Liverpool and Chelsea drew 0-0 twice. The clubs were already regrouping and looking ahead.

“The fact that it’s a surprise if there are less than four goals on Sunday is an indication of where they’re going this season. My prediction is a high-scoring draw with the two busiest goalkeepers and in off the field.” The battle for Caicedo will only add to the intensity of the occasion.”

Updates on transfers and Chelsea LIVE: Liverpool prediction, Romeo Lavia hint, and Moises Caicedo deal

    Message from Caicedo

Liverpool have dealt a serious blow to their hopes of signing Moises Caicedo. The 21-year-old is heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge this summer as Mauricio Pochettino looks to strengthen his midfield, but Jurgen Klopp appears determined to usurp the deal.

Although Chelsea are yet to make an improved offer to the Seagulls, they intend to do so as Caicedo’s heartthrob is set on a move to west London.

Earlier in the summer he had expressed his desire to join the Blues, describing the club as “a very big, historic and beautiful team”. The Ecuadorian is so eager to work with Pochettino that he has reportedly reached out to some Chelsea players. According to TheSecretScout, Caicedo told them, “See you soon.”

Chelsea made a bid that comes the closest to valuation amid Romeo Lavia a transfer target for Liverpool.

Chelsea has made a £48 million offer to Southampton for 19-year-old Belgian midfielder Romeo Lavia in an effort to get a jump on Liverpool.
Chelsea has made a £48 million offer to Southampton for 19-year-old Belgian midfielder Romeo Lavia in an effort to get a jump on Liverpool.

According to reports, Chelsea has made a £48 million offer for Romeo Lavia in an effort to sabotage Liverpool’s pursuit of the Southampton midfielder.

Weeks of negotiations have gone by with no resolution between Liverpool and the Saints due to the Reds’ objections to their £50 million asking price.

The Championship club swiftly rejected their most recent offer, which was for £45 million, which was sent earlier this week. The Athletic reports that Chelsea’s offer, which is reportedly worth £48 million plus add-ons, is currently the closest to matching Southampton’s asking price.

It is unclear whether the offer will be accepted, but if it is, Liverpool may have to prepare for the terrifying possibility that Lavia will face them on Sunday when they visit Stamford Bridge.

A £90 million deal for Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo is also about to be finalized by Chelsea.

After being locked in discussions with the Seagulls all summer, Mauricio Pochettino’s team is hoping to finalize a deal for the Ecuadorian star before the weekend.

Chelsea has long been a fan of Lavia, but it seemed that they were more interested in Caicedo and Leeds midfielder Tyler Adams, who is currently heavily linked with a £20 million transfer to Stamford Bridge. However, it now seems possible that they will sign all three players.

It would be devastating for Liverpool to lose out on Lavia, especially after losing out to Real Madrid in the race for Jude Bellingham earlier this year and losing both Jordan Henderson and Fabinho in recent weeks.

Following the addition of attacking midfielders Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai, Jurgen Klopp believes Lavia is the best choice to take Fabinho’s place at the base of Liverpool’s midfield.

Liverpool ought to swoop in and steal Mikel Arteta ‘next Joko Gvardiol’ as Arsenal makes a $22 million offer.

    Josip utalo
According to reports, Mikel Arteta has a center-back who will follow Joko Gvardiol’s example on his radar, but Liverpool should try to outbid him in the transfer market.

Joko Gvardiol joining Manchester City this summer already seems like a significant addition to Pep Guardiola’s squad. And it’s only fair that Liverpool supporters will look on the transaction with a great deal of envy, especially given the urgent need for the club to add more center-backs at Anfield.

Given that he grew up supporting Liverpool and that Jürgen Klopp prefers to use a high press, high line system at Anfield, Gvardiol would have been the ideal fit. Unfortunately, the club was unable to afford the $99 million (£78 million/€90 million) price tag.

However, there are still many players available who fit Liverpool’s budget, including one who is following Gvardiol at Dinamo Zagreb.

Center back Josip utalo, 23, a Dinamo Zagreb academy product like Gvardiol, has even shared the field with Manchester City’s new acquisition for the club’s youth teams, including in the UEFA Youth League match against Liverpool in 2019.

Compared to Gvardiol, utalo was more of a late bloomer; his big break at Dinamo came the same year that Gvardiol left the team, and his former teammate took advantage of that time to make the first team after spending time on loan at NK Istra.

Utalo is a tall, swift presence in the back who is calm under pressure. He would be a perfect fit for Liverpool’s back line because he is comfortable playing on both the left and right side of a back four.

To demonstrate his talent, according to Wyscout, he had the second-best defensive duel success rate in the Champions League last season, winning 79.14% of his challenges despite playing teams like Chelsea, Red Bull Salzburg, and AC Milan.

    Moises Caicedo twist.

Despite Liverpool’s £110 million deal with Brighton for Moises Caicedo, it appears as though Chelsea could sign both players. Romeo Lavia and Moises Caicedo.

Even though Jurgen Klopp acknowledged that a deal had been reached, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool could now completely withdraw from the race to sign Caicedo due to a stunning development.

Chelsea was still confident they could sign Caicedo in spite of Liverpool’s triple-figure offer, and a new offer is currently being prepared that will be a vast improvement over their previous few offers.

The club record £105 million deal that brought Enzo Fernandez from Benfica earlier this year could be broken, according to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth, as the offer could be as high as £115 million.

    Romeo Lavia Battle

football.london has been informed that Chelsea is’seriously moving’ to sign Moises Caicedo from Southampton as well as Romeo Lavia from Southampton.

Despite Chelsea having a bid on the table that outbids Liverpool’s highest offer, Liverpool was still considered the front-runners to sign the teenager for their midfield.

According to information available to football.london, the proposal is for £52 million, plus an additional $3 million in add-ons.

Chelsea made a late-summer offer to Lavia last year, but Southampton quickly turned it down.
Due to the fact that Lavia’s former Saints manager Joe Shields now resides in west London, Chelsea have renewed their interest in the midfielder.

    Michael Olise boost

    football
To give Chelsea a significant transfer boost, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has selected him to replace Riyad Mahrez. Rayan Cherki, Mohammed Kudus, and Michael Olise were three attacking targets the Blues had identified that they might sign this summer.
Man City was also interested in Michael Olise.

Football and Chelsea have already spoken with Olise’s entourage. The French winger, according to information in London, is eager to relocate to west London. Chelsea already appeared to be in the lead, but Man City has given them a further boost in terms of their transfer hopes.

According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Man City have been negotiating with Stade Rennais for Jeremy Doku’s services for a number of weeks, with both Lucas Paqueta and Doku being their top priorities after that. Both Olise and the Belgian international were options for Guardiola, but a swift Doku transfer and improved personal terms appear to have given Chelsea the incentive to move for Olise. The Telegraph reports that the French club values him at between €50 million (£43.1 million) and €60 million (£51.8 million).

The France Under-21s international is coveted by both clubs, but Chelsea currently stands out as the front-runner for his services after making a verbal offer.

According to RMC journalist Fabrice Hawkins, that proposal had a value of €30 million (£25 point 9 million), and it would be sent formally as soon as more information about Olise’s injury was available. After Riyad Mahrez left, it seemed likely that Man City would pursue Olise. However, Chelsea is now in the lead because Olise is reportedly more interested in moving to Stamford Bridge than to Etihad Stadium.

With the news that Palace wants to sign Lewis Hall on a loan, according to the Mail’s Transfer Confidential, that advantage may now grow. The Eagles accepting a short-term contract for Hall to join could aid Chelsea in talks with Palace for Olise, particularly if an equal offer from Man City is made.

    Caicedo message.

By skipping Brighton’s Monday workout, Moises Caicedo has further demonstrated his desire to sign with Chelsea. The club’s CEO, Paul Barber, revealed that the 21-year-old’s absence from Brighton’s preseason match against Rayo Vallecano last week was due to an injury.

After the 1-1 draw, when asked about Caicedo, Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi was less circumspect about whether the injury was severe enough to keep him out of practice and also touched on what might happen to him in the future.

Regarding Caicedo coming back for training, De Zerbi responded, “I don’t know.”. “We’ll find another key player if Moises leaves. I’d be pleased for us if Moises stayed. That’s not my issue. We always advance at Brighton, even if we lose a few players. “.

De Zerbi has now been provided with an answer to his training-related query. It has been widely reported that the Ecuadorian international skipped the session in an effort to pressure a transfer to Chelsea.

    Veiga bid.

Gabri Veiga, a talented player for Celta Vigo, is currently being chased by Napoli, along with Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool.

Before shining at the Under-21 European Championships, the young Spaniard had a breakout 2022–2023 season that included a final day brace against Barcelona.

With an opening bid of €30 million (£25 million), the Scudetto winners have now formally made their move for Veiga. However, Fabrizio Romano reports that the offer has been rejected.

Celta Vigo has made it clear that they won’t accept any offer below the player’s £34 million release clause, giving Chelsea the chance to match that amount in order to increase their attacking depth.

London club is very close to signing the “magnificent” from Chelsea, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Official: Robert Sánchez joins Chelsea from Brighton & Hove Albion
The temporary signing of Lewis Hall from Chelsea by Crystal Palace is currently very close to being completed.

That is what reputable journalist Fabrizio Romano claims.

Lewis Hall, 18, is about to leave Chelsea on loan for the upcoming season, according to a late Friday night report from Romano.

In order to sign the versatile youngster, Premier League and London club Palace are reportedly at “advanced stages.”.

Crystal Palace and Chelsea are nearing a loan agreement for Lewis Hall, according to Romano.
Final details are being discussed as negotiations are in their advanced stages and are almost complete.
    ”.

Hall played a total of nine Premier League games for Chelsea’s first team last season and didn’t appear out of place in the least.

We like the sound of him improving his game this season while on loan at Palace and getting regular playing time.

It will be interesting to see where the English teenager is used at Selhurst Park because he is an excellent option for left-back or central midfield. Of course, the agreement still needs to be signed.

The left-footed rising star, in our opinion, stands a strong chance of eventually joining Mauricio Pochettino’s Blues team.

Hall, who Micah Richards previously praised as “magnificent” on Sky Sports, will be adored by the Palace supporters.

Even at the highest level, he is unfazed and plays with such intelligence despite only being 18 years old. Technically sound and an excellent crosser, too.

    Olise incentive

In order to pursue their interest in Crystal Palace starlet Michael Olise, Chelsea have been given the ideal motivation. Following news that Brighton and Hove Albion and Ajax have reached an agreement in principle for Kudus, the Blues may be forced to continue pursuing their interest in the Crystal Palace star.

The Seagulls have developed a reputation for doing exquisite transfer business in recent years, but as their first season in Europe approaches, Roberto De Zerbi’s team has been forced to make significant summer spending. Joao Pedro’s transfer from Watford broke their club record transfer fee, and they are now on pace to break the £30 million barrier with a fee of £34 point 5 million for Kudus.

The transaction is still far from being completed.
The 23-year-old’s potential departure from Chelsea gives Boehly more motivation than ever to sign Olise.

    Maatsen boost

Although Pochettino is still trying to sign Caicedo, his most recent move may help the Blues avoid spending millions of dollars on Caicedo. The Chelsea manager has informed Ian Maatsen, according to the Evening Standard, that he wants to keep him at Stamford Bridge for the remainder of the season.

Before returning to Chelsea and making an impression in preseason, the Cobham graduate spent the previous season on loan at Championship champion Burnley. Maatsen is a player the club can consider as they try to bolster their engine room ranks because he can play in central midfield and was used further forward during the tour of the United States despite primarily playing at left-back.

The need for a new winger and central midfielder is reduced by keeping Maatsen at the club because he can fill those roles, which could theoretically help Chelsea save a sizable sum of money if they match Brighton’s asking price for Caicedo. The 21-year-old has Pochettino so impressed that new contract negotiations are also expected, allowing Chelsea to direct their funding toward other areas that Maatsen won’t cover.

    Mbappe update

According to a report, Chelsea “rules out” signing Neymar and Kylian Mbappé.

Chelsea news: Todd Boehly has given Michael Olise an incentive while Kylian Mbappe has sent a transfer request.
Christopher Nkunku’s (expected) injury layoff, the extent of which is still unknown at this time, has allowed for some wild transfer speculation over the past 24 hours, including such gems as Chelsea bringing back Joo Félix for another loan (because the first one was such a rousing success obviously) or Chelsea spending untold millions on more attacking players, such as Michael Olise, Mohammed Kudus, or, and this is the really fun one, Neymar (not-so-).

According to reports in France, PSG is still interested in getting rid of Neymar, especially since Kylian Mbappé is anticipated to follow Lionel Messi out of the door. Smarties are better, so no more M-N-Ms for the good people of Paris.

Though Neymar appears to favor a return to Barcelona, the Premier League is where the money is (aside from the Saudi Pro League, of course), and the player prefers to remain in Europe.

According to those reports, talks have allegedly been taking place between Chelsea and Neymar. However, the Evening Standard claims that this is complete nonsense because Chelsea has already “ruled out” the possibility. Neymar doesn’t fit the market m.o we currently have. neither our pay structure. Sadly, the report also mentions Kylian Mbappé. Despite spending a significant amount of time working successfully and productively with Neymar at PSG, Mauricio Pochettino is rumored to have concurred that this idea is a “non-starter.”.

Chelsea contacts the relegated Leeds star and is prepared to trigger the player's release clause. According to reports, Chelsea has contacted Tyler Adams, a midfielder for Leeds United, and is prepared to trigger his relegation release clause.

Prior to the start of the upcoming Premier League season, manager Mauricio Pochettino is desperate to bolster his midfield lineup. However, he has been unsuccessful in finding suitable replacements thus far.

Paris Saint-Germain beat the Blues to the signing of Manuel Ugarte at the beginning of the summer, and Brighton is still putting up a fight for Moises Caicedo, who is a top target for them.

Adams was recently mentioned as a possible replacement for the Ecuadorian in Chelsea’s transfer plans, but it now seems the club wants both players.

Fabrizio Romano claims that Adams’ representatives have been contacted by the west London club’s hierarchy, who is also looking into the deal’s price.

The transfer for Adams is being treated separately from Caicedo negotiations, and the American captain is not just seen as a backup option but rather as someone who can add depth and competition to the midfield.

Adams, who was released by RB Leipzig last summer, is now available for just £20 million following Leeds’ relegation from the Premier League.

Chelsea contacts the relegated Leeds star and is prepared to trigger the player's release clause.
The Daily Mail even claims that Chelsea’s interest has grown to the point where they are prepared to trigger his release clause.

Pochettino prefers to have at least one new midfielder in before next Sunday’s game, but any deal for Caicedo is unlikely to be finished in time with just one week until the Blues face Liverpool in their opening game of the season.

Because Mateo Kovacic, Mason Mount, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek were all sold, N’Golo Kante left on a free transfer, leaving Chelsea with few options in the midfield.

Last weekend, when asked if the team was still looking for a midfielder, Pochettino responded, “I think we’re still talking about needing an experienced midfielder, yes.”.

With 14 appearances in the Champions League and 75 appearances in the Bundesliga prior to his season in the Premier League with Leeds, Adams, 24, undoubtedly brings a wealth of experience to the table. He has 36 caps for the USA as well.

Adams’ release clause would need to be paid in full, which would be different from Chelsea’s usual purchasing strategy since they typically spread out the cost of transfers over several years.

According to the aforementioned article from The Athletic, Chelsea also contacted Ajax in an effort to sign Kudus and bring him to Stamford Bridge.

The versatile attacker, though, now appears to be out of reach for Mauricio Pochettino.

According to reports, Brighton and Ajax have reached a €40 million (£35 million) signing agreement for Kudus, setting a new Seagulls club record.

Following Roberto De Zerbi’s decision to make the Ajax No. 1, the 23-year-old is also nearing a personal agreement with the Italian’s camp. 20 is a significant goal for Brighton this summer.

Chelsea might make a strong effort to sign Olise if Kudus leaves for Brighton.

In our opinion, this information may cause Chelsea to become more interested in Michael Olise.

According to a report from RMC Sport in France, the Blues have already submitted a £26 million bid for Crystal Palace No. He is open to joining Chelsea rather than Manchester City this summer, when he turns 7 years old.

Given that Olise already has a very low £35 million release clause, that £26 million offer is undoubtedly insufficient.

Chelsea should model its success after the three teams listed by Mauricio Pochettino.

The £35 million target of Chelsea has now been agreed upon by the club, and the contract is almost complete.
Although Mauricio Pochettino, the head coach of Chelsea, has emphasized that he needs time to establish a foundation from which to operate, he has insisted that he is targeting immediate success at the club.
The west Londoners, who are currently in the midst of their second full season under the ownership of Todd Boehly and BlueCo, are coming off of an absolutely disastrous season.

The Blues went through four managers in a row and finished in a dismal 12th place, which was their lowest ranking since the 1993/94 campaign.
To help them get out of this mess, they have turned to former Tottenham Hotspur manager Pochettino. In his five preseason matches as manager, the Argentine has not yet lost.

Pochettino suggested in an interview with the Evening Standard after Chelsea’s tour of the United States that in creating long-term plans for success, Chelsea should take the lead from clubs like Liverpool, Manchester City, and Real Madrid.

Pochettino sternly advised: “You cannot win if you do not build. “You can add names and players; there are some exceptions, but in general it’s the winning clubs.”.

“After putting in a lot of effort and being dependable over the years, Liverpool triumphed. [Manchester] City did the same after seven or eight years under Pep [Guardiola], and Real Madrid as well.

“It’s important to realize that the teams that succeed are the ones that are more reliable and diligent in developing winning strategies. Our responsibility is to maintain the team’s behavior and stability through both good and bad times.

If we want to get there, we need to have a plan. Excellent, if we arrive early.
But even if we don’t, we will still get there eventually.
    That is really crucial.
I am aware of the challenges involved in assembling a team that will be able to compete with major teams once more. However, we are creating something unique. “.

Pochettino did, however, acknowledge that Chelsea must be ready to succeed right away and that he cannot merely request more time to deliver.

“It’s a process that takes time, but you can’t ask for time in football. We are aware that we must act immediately. We are at Chelsea and we need to win, is the message I want to get across to everyone here. Today, not tomorrow,” he continued.

The Premier League season for Chelsea begins on Sunday, August 13, when they host Liverpool.

For a creative player with a rumored release clause, Chelsea made an offer of €30 million.
According to a report by RMC Sport published today, Chelsea has made Michael Olise a €30 million offer.

Even though the young Crystal Palace star is still recovering from a bad hamstring tear he sustained while playing for France’s U21 team this summer, Chelsea’s desire to sign him as one of their young attacking prospects is evidently unaffected.

Despite the fact that there is less than a month left in this transfer window, Chelsea is reportedly waiting for updates on his injury.

A release clause that is “below €40m” is mentioned, which would undoubtedly make him a desirable target for many teams. With the Eagles, Olise, who is still only 21 years old, has tallied 6 goals and 21 assists. He appears poised to advance to a top team where his impressive creative abilities can be utilized even more effectively.

Following Riyad Mahrez’s departure for Saudi Arabia, Man City’s interest in Olise is also mentioned.

For a creative player with a rumored release clause, Chelsea made an offer of €30 million.
With the exception of the injuries to Fofana and Nkunku and the Caicedo impasse, the first few weeks of Mauricio Pochettino’s leadership have gone about as well as we might have hoped, with positive vibes, spirited performances, and plenty of encouraging words from all parties. With his assured confidence, warm demeanor, and clarity of vision, Pochettino has made a great first impression. This can be seen in both his media appearances and in his apparent influence on the players, as well as, of course, our performance on the field.

Of course, the preseason is prone to making these kinds of emotions very easily; however, as we saw last year, it’s also simple for things to go wrong. Nevertheless, we’re cultivating these emotions well and laying a solid foundation (at least in theory). One week from now, the new season will begin, and hopefully we will benefit greatly from that foundation for a very long time.

A coach like Pochettino has a great chance to make something amazing because of how aggressively we are rebuilding and renewing the squad. And he is in fact attempting to do that, all the while keeping the crucial need to continue winning at the forefront.

For a creative player with a rumored release clause, Chelsea made an offer of €30 million.
“We are constructing a unique structure. We need time because it is a process. But in football, you can’t wait; you have to deliver right away. We are Chelsea, and even though we will be playing Liverpool, we will have a winning mentality.
    ”.

Some may argue that striking that delicate balance is impossible, but that’s where (hopefully) a long-term plan and vision come into play, to help us make decisions and gauge our progress.

“I’m eager to begin a medium- and long-term project, but in football, anything could happen. To determine whether we can create something special here, we must all be present. We are putting a lot of effort into our work, and I believe we are doing well, but we are Chelsea, and we must win.
    Not tomorrow, but today, yesterday.

“At the same time, we must put in a lot of effort and use creative planning to get ready for the upcoming month, the upcoming six months, and the upcoming year.
A strategy and a direction that states, “We need to get there,” are both necessary. ‘Great if we can get here early. However, if not, we are confident that we will still make it to our destination. [. You can’t win if all you do is bring players and names to the game.
    [.
The club with the most consistency typically prevails. ”.

According to Fabrizio Romano; Chelsea is leading the race to sign €82 million star

Chelsea made an offer of €30 million, for a creative player with a rumored release clause, as Mauricio Pochettino wants to create "something special.
Despite the fact that no deal is anticipated to be completed quickly for the Serbian attacker, Chelsea is still in the lead to sign Juventus attacker Dusan Vlahovic, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Vlahovic would join the Blues as part of a trade deal in which Romelu Lukaku would go to Juve and the London club would receive €40 million in what would be a remarkable transfer.

After failing to perform since his return to the club for a then-record fee in 2021, Lukaku is rumored to be out of the picture at Stamford Bridge. He also continued his poor form at Inter Milan on loan last season.

Fabrizio Romano, an expert in football transfer news, claims that since the Belgian international has already agreed to personal terms with Juventus, the only thing stopping the deal is approval from new Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Romano reports that Juventus has returned to the table, using their €82 million signing as leverage, to see if further negotiations are possible after the Blues rejected a similar offer to this one last month.

There certainly seems to be, in large part due to how difficult it is to let go of Lukaku. While Inter’s interest in him has waned, he has rejected a move there. The Nerazzurri have accused the striker of betraying them by speaking to Juventus behind their backs.

Check out the most recent Chelsea news, including updates on Robert Sanchez, Moises Caicedo, and the Blues’ search for a less expensive Kylian Mbappe replacement.

Chelsea has one week to complete any last-minute transfers before the start of the new Premier League season against Liverpool.

While Mauricio Pochettino has welcomed players like Christopher Nkunku, Nicolas Jackson, and Axel Disasi to Stamford Bridge, the Blues still desperately need a top-tier defensive midfielder. However, Brighton are adamant that they must obtain a £100 million windfall in order to sign Moises Caicedo, who is still frequently linked with a move to west London.

Lesley Ugochukwu was acquired by Chelsea from Rennes, though it is uncertain if he will be loaned out before the end of August. In other news, the Blues appear to be close to signing Robert Sanchez from Brighton, but a potential transfer for Dusan Vlahovic, who might take Romelu Lukaku’s place at Cobham, is being viewed with skepticism.

As their transfer preference is made known, Chelsea tables their offer for Olise.

In the competition with Manchester City to sign Michael Olise, Chelsea has put forth an offer of €30 million (£25 point 9 million).

When they have more information about the injury that has kept him out of Crystal Palace’s preseason, the Blues will formally make the offer, according to RMC journalist Fabrice Hawkins.

Moisés Caicedo's transfer, Mohammed Kudus' stance, and Michael Olise's offer are all current Chelsea news and transfers.

In the midst of a captaincy hint, everything was seen at Chelsea training.

As Mauricio Pochettino gets ready to face Liverpool in the Premier League opener, Chelsea faces a crucial week at Cobham. The Blues have had a productive preseason, winning three of their first five games and playing an attacking brand of football.

Their preseason campaign came to an end in a 1-1 draw with Borussia Dortmund in Chicago, but the biggest worry was an injury to Christopher Nkunku. Although a prolonged absence appears unlikely, the Frenchman must work quickly to be ready for the match against Liverpool.

While Benoit Badiashile, Armando Broja, and Nkunku are each attending to medical concerns, Pochettino has been working his team hard on the Cobham fields.

Sanchez, like many others before her, gave Colwill the highest possible recommendation and made a significant prediction about the 20-year-old.

Vlahovic’s position regarding the Chelsea transfer.
According to reports, Dusan Vlahovic would prefer to remain at Juventus over moving to Chelsea as part of a Romelu Lukaku swap deal.

Vlahovic allegedly did not request the move, but he is aware it could happen and would not object to it, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

According to the rumor, Vlahovic wants to make it clear that Juve, not him, would decide whether to pursue a transfer to Chelsea after scoring in Thursday’s preseason win over Real Madrid.

After moving to Chelsea, Sanchez’s first words.
Robert Sanchez has spoken for the first time since Chelsea officially announced his permanent transfer from Brighton.

The 25-year-old has committed to a seven-year deal after joining Chelsea for a reported £25 million, and he appears to be in a battle with Kepa Arrizabalaga for the No. 1 spot. a single goalkeeper.

In his first interview since joining the Blues, Sanchez stated, “I really started my career here in England. Brighton gave and gave me everything I needed as a goalkeeper inside and outside the field of play to get the most out of me, which I’m really happy I did and grateful for. It’s a much bigger challenge now, but I’m up for it.

“Selecting Chelsea was the best decision I could have made because of the amazing opportunities they have provided in front of me to develop more as a goalkeeper, learn, and compete for the position and demonstrate to everyone how good I can be. “.

    Incredible Caicedo-Chelsea transfer twist.
If Chelsea wants to sign Moises Caicedo this summer, they might have to pay Brighton’s asking price. However, before agreeing to Brighton’s terms, a crucial choice must be made.

The Athletic reported that an “unidentified” club submitted an offer for Caicedo earlier this week, seemingly giving the transfer saga a major turn. Various rumors have identified Premier League teams as the unidentified bidder, and a Saudi Arabian team has also been mentioned; however, it appears unlikely that Chelsea will be impacted.

Fabrizio Romano, a transfer expert, claims that Chelsea are unconcerned about any alleged mystery club signing Caicedo this summer. However, a recent claim made by the Italian journalist may have Chelsea worried.

    The Vlahovic update.

In light of rumors that Dusan Vlahovic might be moving to Chelsea, Massimiliano Allegri has commented on him. The Juventus manager turned to the Serbian on Thursday night in Orlando during a preseason friendly against Real Madrid, despite being strongly linked with a move to west London.

In his post-game interview, Allegri was questioned about Vlahovic, who entered the game with just under 15 minutes remaining. Allegri said in a statement to La Gazzetta dello Sport, as reported by the Evening Standard, “I’m very happy for him. He was going to come off the bench and play for 15 minutes, and we agreed on that before the game.

“Dusan wasn’t entirely convinced, but it was helpful. Aside from scoring a goal, Vlahovic performed admirably on the field and benefited the team. “.

Dusan Vlahovic will only accept Chelsea’s offer of €20 million (£17 million), which is €20 million less than the €40 million (£34 million) (plus Romelu Lukaku) that Juventus are seeking.

Gazzetta dello Sport states as much.

Let’s see what has changed recently regarding Dusan Vlahovic and Chelsea.

    Why is this happening?

According to Fabrizio Romano, Juventus is willing to let Chelsea get rid of Lukaku if they sign the Serbian international and pay €40 million (£34 million).

That’s because Vlahovic cost Juventus £66.6 million, and fans at the Allianz Stadium don’t think the Belgian international is worth enough to make up for that sum entirely.

Chelsea’s position on that offer has since become clear, though.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Blues are only prepared to spend £17 million on Vlahovic, which is half of what Juventus are asking for, with Lukaku moving in the opposite direction to Turin.

The 23-year-old would be ideal for Chelsea, according to Mauricio Pochettino, but that is despite Rudy Galetti’s report.

Despite having injury issues throughout the season, Vlahovic scored 14 goals in 42 appearances for Juventus last year.

The Chelsea position on the Lukaku/Vlahovic controversy is logical.

In our opinion, Chelsea is choosing wisely in this situation.

Spending £34 million on Vlahovic while also letting a £97,5 million investment in Lukaku leave as part of the deal would be bad business.

Juventus’ No. 9 makes £215,000 per week, so his pay won’t be cheap either.

Vlahovic might even fail his medical exam if an agreement is reached, according to Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri, who has added another dramatic twist to the saga.

Despite Juventus’s £34 million asking price, Chelsea’s offer of £17 million and Lukaku is respectable but we don’t see them accepting it.

As negotiations between Chelsea and Juventus continue, be sure to keep an eye on this situation.

A release clause exists in Crystal Palace player Michael Olise’s contract, who Chelsea is interested in.

The existence of a release clause in Olise’s contract at Selhurst Park has been the subject of considerable misunderstanding.

But Fabrizio Romano has now acknowledged that his contract DOES contain a £35 million clause.

Manchester City and the Blues have both been showing interest in the winger this summer.

Does he take up good positions to receive the ball? Is he composed on the ball? Levi Colwill has those attributes – now he must keep learning and progressing.”.

“He can be sure that the manager will assist him with that. The same goes for working with Thiago [Silva], who has accomplished so much in the game. He can learn from him and keep picking up new information.
