Jota was a member of the Portugal team that last week lost to Spain in the quarterfinal of the Euro 2024 competition. After enjoying a summer vacation, the Reds No. 20 will return to Merseyside for preseason training.

Jota, in Slot’s opinion, ought to return to Liverpool to participate in Slot’s preseason training rather than taking a vacation.

“I’m not taking a break if I’m Diogo Jota; I’m heading straight to training camp,” Nicol stated to ESPN.

“For two reasons: one, you want to be one of the three players we believe will be playing up front, and you want to make the team and start in the starting XI. But he also skipped a good portion of the previous season. So, he won’t be considering weariness or anything similar.

Ian Doyle: There’s a good chance Luis Diaz will inadvertently turn into a major test of the Fenway Sports Group’s preferred method of doing business in the transfer market.

The Reds were praised for acquiring such a quality from Porto for £50 million when Diaz was plucked from under Tottenham Hotspur’s nose back in January 2022. This opinion was supported by the player’s instant impact in the starting lineup.

However, Barcelona shouldn’t be making special efforts to hold him if he wants to leave and they want him. Realise a sizable profit on the Colombian swap might be advantageous for both sides.

According to Liverpool.com as terrible as it is to say, it looks like Coutinho’s time playing European football is finished, He wouldn’t make much of an impression in Qatar and was unwanted by Unai Emery at Villa, so it would make sense for him to go back to Brazil, where he would be loved.
