Samuel Chukwueze’s situation is being watched by Liverpool as AC Milan is unable to finalize a deal.

This summer, Chukwueze appears to be one of Milan’s top transfer targets. Talks with the Villarreal man are reportedly in progress, according to journalist Rudy Galetti on Twitter.

Galetti asserts that Chukwueze is still not viewed as a good value by the Italians, though. Milan reportedly thinks the 24-year-old is a bit expensive with a price tag between £21-26 million.

As a result, several Premier League teams, including Liverpool, have started to show interest. The other clubs with a keen interest in Chukwueze are Arsenal and Newcastle United. The competition is described as “fierce” because there could be so many participating teams. ’.

The Nigerian, whose contract at Villarreal only has a year left, appears headed for a transfer this summer.

    Milan stall on Chukwueze’s price

The £26 million player's transfer to AC Milan may be in jeopardy, but Liverpool could still make a bid.

Liverpool’s midfield reconstruction is almost complete as they try to block the acquisition of Dominik Szoboszlai.

We believe the Reds may still be looking for a middle-park player. The possibility exists, though, that Jurgen Klopp has found what he was looking for in Szoboszlai and Alexis MacAllister.

As a result, we might start to notice a few more links showing up for players in various positions now.

That being said, one of the positions most in need of a replacement is a left-footed forward.

Liverpool might feel the need to address the fact that Mohamed Salah still doesn’t have a natural backup in the team. Chukwueze would appear almost flawless in that regard.

Considering that he only has one year left on his Spanish contract, he won’t demand a high transfer fee. In all likelihood, Milan is right to be reluctant to agree to Villarreal’s asking price; perhaps a price in the range of £15–20 million would be more appropriate.

We wouldn’t be at all surprised to see Liverpool in the mix if his price does drop to that level.

However, the sudden interest from Liverpool is a significant obstacle as they too look to refresh their midfield.

Liverpool interest – a blow to Arsenal’s plans? Liverpool’s entry into the contest comes after agreeing a £35m deal for Brighton’s Alexis Mac Allister.

Their investigation into the terms of a deal with Lavia could dampen Arsenal’s hopes, although the Gunners are yet to make an official offer.

Lavia is performing superbly for Southampton and has become the first player born in 2004 to score in the Premier League.

Despite Southampton’s relegation, his 34 caps and debut for Belgium attracted the attention of several top clubs.

CEO acknowledges £29 million player is excited about a Premier League move following reports that Liverpool want him.
Rumor has it that Liverpool target Samuel Chukwueze is excited about the prospect of a move to the Premier League this summer.

Chukwueze has been linked with a move to Anfield as the Reds seek senior cover for their forwards. And speaking to Spanish newspaper AS, Villarreal CEO Noig Negueroles admitted the La Liga side would consider him should a bid for the 24-year-old materialise.

“The Samu is an exceptional kid who has been with us for many years,” Negueroles said. “It’s true that he is looking forward to playing for a big club in Europe or the Premier League and we have always worked hand in hand to improve. If this option presented itself, we would sit down to negotiate it.

“But it remains to be seen whether a favorable offer will arrive for all three parties. In this case, there is still no offer and he still has one year left on his contract. We know that if something really good doesn’t materialize, it will continue [at Villarreal].”

CEO acknowledges £29 million player is excited about a Premier League move following reports that Liverpool want him.
With just one year left on his contract, it looks possible that Liverpool could get Chukwueze for less than the £29m they would have offered for him in 2020 [France Football].

If they could, he would have the potential to be a big deal for the Reds. Aged just 24, Chukwueze has played over 200 times for Villarreal and won 28 caps for Nigeria. He showed a lot in those games which suggests he can go further in the Premier League.

There are still some inconsistencies in his game to iron out, but at Liverpool he would have the opportunity to do so.

Chukwueze is naturally left-footed and could be the replacement for Mohamed Salah that Jurgen Klopp never really had. As he is seven years younger than Salah, there would be potential to develop the Nigerian as Mo’s successor.

Whether or not Chukwueze would be thrilled at the prospect of playing second fiddle is another matter. He might be excited for the Premier League, but at Anfield he should bide his time in a stacked striker.

However, we think there is room for Liverpool’s offensive capabilities to improve this summer. For the fare it’s likely to cost, you might not find much better than Chukwueze.

Liverpool transfer news: a $88 million 'contact' was made, and Jürgen Klopp was instructed to sign a Man City star.
Jürgen Klopp’s team is reportedly in contact with a $88 million player, and the Reds have been instructed to make a move for a Man City player, according to Liverpool transfer news.

There are still many things that will happen at Anfield over the next few weeks, but since Liverpool has already acquired Alexis MacAllister, it is now up to new sporting director Jörg Schmadtke to finalize some additional deals.

Even though the Premier League schedule was made public this week, there is still more than enough time to finalize additional transfers before the new season begins.

Jürgen Klopp’s team clearly needs to strengthen in the middle, and it would be a good idea to add another defender as well, with a left-sided center-back on the list.

Beyond that, any additional signings would be a bonus, with a defender and at least one more midfielder (ideally two more) being absolutely necessary as the Reds attempt to reclaim their previous position near the top of the standings.

According to Calciomercato, Liverpool has “made contact” with Inter midfielder Nicol Barella, with a starting bid of $88 million (£68 million/€80 million) being mentioned.
The 26-year-old’s transfer to an Italian club.

The Telegraph reported last week that Newcastle United was close to finalizing a deal to acquire the player for a fee of $64 million (£50 million/€58 million), but that never seemed plausible.

If Barella is available for that sort of money, Liverpool should be all over a deal, according to Liverpool .

If Jürgen Klopp’s modified formation is still in place, the Italian international would be a great fit on the right side.

    Kyle Walker (Manchester City)

    Kyle Walker
Don Hutchison, a pundit, has urged Liverpool to make a move for Kyle Walker of Manchester City, a full-back who is expected to leave Pep Guardiola’s team this summer after winning the treble.

Walker recently turned 33 years old, but Hutchison claims he would sign the Englishman “in a heartbeat” if he were available.

Even if the Reds decided to make Trent Alexander-Arnold their starting midfielder on a permanent basis, according to Liverpool . com, there is absolutely no chance that they will move for Walker. He is simply too old and would demand too much money for Liverpool to be tempted. Thomas Tuchel is a big fan, and it appears that a move to Bayern Munich is in the cards.
