Before playing Man City, Liverpool plays Sparta Prague in the Europa League on Thursday night. This week at the AXA Training Centre, there were some encouraging indicators.

Despite having a severely injured roster at the beginning of the year, Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp has managed to keep his team’s hopes of winning the quadruple alive. When the Reds’ youthful players took the pitch in the Carabao Cup final last month, Liverpool was missing eleven men.

After the match, Wembley’s situation deteriorated further with the loss of Ryan Gravenberch and Wataru Endō, but the Liverpool manager offered no explanations. Luckily for Klopp, Endō was able to play Sunday against Nottingham Forest off the bench alongside Darwin Núñez, who won the game, and Dominik Szoboszlai.

Núñez had not played since sustaining an injury at Brentford, and Szoboszlai had only started once since the beginning of January due to a hamstring strain. However, both are now fully recovered and will provide Klopp with a significant lift ahead of this week’s matches against Manchester City and Sparta Prague.

However, it seems that the Anfield manager is about to receive another double boost. In order to get ready for the journey to the Czech capital, Liverpool’s players arrived to the AXA Training Centre on Tuesday, and the team shared a number of photos on social media.

Before playing Man City, Liverpool plays Sparta Prague in the Europa League on Thursday night. This week at the AXA Training Centre,

Among them were Gravenberch and Curtis Jones, another injured midfield player who was substituted at Brentford due to an ankle problem. While both players have been spotted using crutches recently, Gravenberch arrived unassisted and moved around freely. Jones, on the other hand, was walking with Andy Robertson while merely wearing a protective boot.

After being sent off at Wembley, it seems Dutch international Gravenberch is the one who is closest to making a comeback. Moisés Caicedo’s late challenge to the 21-year-old resulted in an injury, but Klopp later stated it was a ligament tear rather than a break.

“It’s a ligament injury, it could have been much worse, but it’s bad enough for him to be ruled out for this game, next game, then we will see,” Klopp said last week prior to the FA Cup victory over Southampton. When he addresses the media on Wednesday night, Klopp will probably provide another update, but there’s a chance he might return this week.

Jones, on the other hand, was playing quite well prior to his own injury. Pep Lijnders, the assistant manager of the Reds, reportedly hinted that he will return “around the international break,” which occurs following the FA Cup matchup with Manchester United. That would suggest that he won’t be put in danger before then, but the pictures do seem to show that Liverpool’s injury situation is getting better.

After his own injury problems, Mohamed Salah is anticipated to return to action against Sparta Prague. Klopp will need to decide whether to give him some minutes before to the matchup with City. However, long-term absentees Joël Matip and Thiago Alcântara, as well as Alisson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Diogo Jota, are still sidelined.

According to Liverpool.com: although Gravenberch and Jones might have remained at the training site to complete their recuperation, Liverpool supporters are greatly encouraged by the sight of both players moving around freely and not using crutches or protection. Since Klopp now has few choices and the Reds are still contenders in three competitions, he will be eager to acquire more depth in the upcoming weeks. Whether Gravenberch will be risked against Manchester City or Sparta Prague is still to be determined.

  • WATARU ENDO ABSENCE MAY BENEFIT A YOUNG LIVERPOOL STAR

WATARU ENDO ABSENCE MAY BENEFIT A YOUNG LIVERPOOL STAR

James McConnellWataru Endo’s winning streak is now coming to an end. Or at least for Liverpool. Endo will feature in the Asian Cup alongside his fellow internationals, but it will be disappointing to leave Liverpool after struggling to make the starting XI.

Endo has been in fine form for Liverpool in recent weeks and has earned the trust of Jurgen Klopp, becoming the first player for the German side to start five games in 13 days. In the big games against Manchester United and Arsenal, he provided stability in midfield and was one of the Reds’ best players. But now Liverpool will have to do without him. Good news

A number of key players are expected to return to Liverpool in January. Alexis McAllister is available and expected to fill the midfield role vacated by Endo. Meanwhile, Thiago Alcantara could also feature as he is expected to return to first team training.

These two will provide broad coverage in the absence of endo. But it would not be surprising if some young people were given the opportunity. Especially since Endo could miss nine games for Liverpool. Five more games are possible in the Premier League and four more in cup competitions.

    Under the Radar Talent

Liverpool’s academy players have been very impressive in securing promotion to the first team this season. The standout performance came from Jarell Quanza, but Ben Doak, Kaide Gordon, Conor Bradley and Luke Chambers all impressed.

James McConnell is a player who rarely gets mentioned. The 19-year-old played around 20 minutes of football for Liverpool’s senior team. But at the same time he made his debut in Europe and the Premier League and performed brilliantly. He has also played in Jurgen Klopp’s last four Premier League sides.

WATARU ENDO ABSENCE MAY BENEFIT A YOUNG LIVERPOOL

Pre-season McConnell was one of the surprise names on Liverpool’s first pre-season tour last summer. He was only 18 at the time and was renowned for his academic versatility. However, he has yet to fully define his role. Things changed in the preseason. Due to Liverpool’s lack of depth, McConnell was at times the team’s second-choice midfielder and thus became a regular. With Trent Alexander-Arnold moving to right-back, McConnell took advantage and looked comfortable in that position. Klopp waxed lyrical about the youngster, describing him as “delighted to meet you” in the No. 6. In all, McConnell played 176 minutes in the preseason. He broke six of nine defensive tackles, completed 93 of 101 passes, had four interceptions and recovered 12 fumbles.

McConnell this season, finished sixth in the club’s U21 team. He stepped into a bigger role and captained the team on several occasions, including against League One in the EFL Trophy. In his new role, he has been one of the standout players for the U21s and the numbers bear that out. According to Premier League 2’s Wyscout, McConnell averaged the most tackles per 90 (9.34) of any player and also took part in the most defensive tackles per 90 (19.53) . In a match against Crystal Palace, McConnell won 17 tackles, made 11 interceptions and recovered 16 tackles.

McConnell is not alone among his colleagues. He also put in an impressive performance for Liverpool U21s in the EFL Trophy, helping the Reds get knocked out of the group stage for the first time. Not only is McConnell second in the league among midfielders in tackles per 90 (8.94), but he also has third in assists (10). effective on the ball
It’s important to note that he doesn’t just stand out on defense. McConnell is very efficient with the ball. Second in the Premier League, he is in the top 10 for final third passes (10.19 per 90).

Meanwhile, in Liverpool’s pre-season and competition matches, McConnell has a 90.7% success rate in a total of 107 attempts in 206 minutes. He averaged 6.55 progressive passes per 90 minutes, with 2.18 passes entering the penalty area.

And while preparing for the match against Liverpool, he recorded his second assist (pass before assist) on two goals (one goal against Karlsruhe, one goal against Darmstadt). Will I be promoted in January?
Without Endo, McConnell’s presence might have been greater. Even if Mac Allister and Thiago return at the end of January, the duo cannot be expected to play all nine possible games.

With Baycetic injured, McConnell is clearly next in line after McAllister and Thiago. He has been a member of the Liverpool squad since the match against Crystal Palace on 9 December. This means he will likely be called up in January. If so, he might want to grab the opportunity with both hands, just like Quanza did after Joel Matip’s injury.

The Japanese midfield player has truly established himself with the team, but sadly, international duty calls.

Following Liverpool FC’s 2-0 road victory against Burnley, manager Jürgen Klopp gave particular recognition to midfielder Wataru Endō. The Japanese midfielder recently reached a unique milestone in terms of consecutive appearances and has appeared to be very at ease lately.

During the post-match press conference, our manager discussed Endō’s recent performances as follows:

“I must admit, I really enjoyed this game. It’s unfortunate that after finding his footing, he is now off to the Asian Cup, but that’s life. What a player, what a youngster, and how very significant. We have to play without him at least in January, but he is present when we play Newcastle. The boys then depart, so we’ll have to figure out another route. However, I am very glad for him right now. Although it took him some time to truly demonstrate his abilities, I’m glad that we can now witness it.

Monday’s match against Newcastle United will be Wataru’s final before he leaves for Japan’s AFC Asian Cup training camp. The team, one of the favourites going into the tournament, will be captained by Endō. Iraq, Vietnam, and Indonesia are among its group members.

If they made it to the final, he would miss seven games:

    – the FA Cup tie at Arsenal

    – both legs of the EFL Cup semi-finals against Fulham

    – Premier League games against Bournemouth,  Arsenal, Chelsea, and Burnley

Wataru, best of luck. We’ll see you when you return.

Richard Keys makes an odd statement while Jürgen Klopp verifies a “very serious” injury to Liverpool.

Liverpool transfer target may be hijack by PSG as agreement is close

Following a potentially critical injury sustained during Saturday night’s Premier League match between Liverpool and Arsenal, Kostas Tsimikas will be sidelined for a while.

Kostas Tsimikas, a defender for Liverpool, was thought to have broken his collarbone during Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Arsenal at Anfield. Shortly after the half-hour mark, Tsimikas was struggling with Gunners winger Bukayo Saka for the ball when Saka nudged him to the ground. As he went down, Klopp collided with manager Jürgen Klopp.

Tsimikas was unable to continue after a protracted course of therapy, thus Joe Gomez took his place. After that, the Greek international had to visit the hospital; although his official prognosis is still pending, it looks like he will be out for a long.

BeIN Sports anchor Richard Keys oddly blamed Klopp for his defender’s injury in a post on X/Twitter, claiming that the defender was positioned too close to the pitch. Keys has already used the opportunity to voice his displeasure with Mikel Arteta, Klopp’s opposing number, for his touchline antics.

“It’s an irony that it’s Klopp — with Arteta in the other technical area — but that’s exactly why a coach being too close to the playing area is dangerous,” he stated. The German team is facing an increasing number of absences due to injuries sustained by Luis Díaz in the match at the top of the table and absences by players such as Thiago, Diogo Jota, and Alexis Mac Allister.

Richard Keys makes an odd statement while Jürgen Klopp verifies a "very serious" injury to Liverpool.

According to Klopp, “I thought it wasn’t really a problem because I had no pain,” following the game, as reported by the BBC. “He would be fit again, and I would gladly give him my collarbone. At that moment, I was all right. Although he stated, “No, it’s broken,” I assumed Kostas was as well.

After the game, Saka expressed regret for the incident, but Klopp stated that Tsimikas would be “out for a long time” due to a “really bad” injury. It’s unlikely that Andy Robertson will return for a few more weeks.

According to Liverpool.com, this was actually just an unlucky mishap of the kind that can occur throughout any game. Saka’s challenge was correctly called a foul, but there was nothing dangerous about it. Klopp was essentially standing inside his technical area and did nothing wrong. Every game, we witness players being dragged down in that way repeatedly with no long-term consequences.

Liverpool won’t be worried about whether the injury could have been avoided. Rather, the focus will be on coming up with a solution, as Tsimikas joins Robertson in the treatment room following the latter’s shoulder dislocation. If Klopp doesn’t push young players like Luke Chambers or Calum Scanlon into the Premier League spotlight, it might compel the right-footed Gomez to play a longer series of games at left defence.

  • Wataru Endo accomplished a feat not witnessed at Liverpool in eighteen years in their victory over Burnley

Wataru Endo accomplished a feat not witnessed at Liverpool in eighteen years in their victory over Burnley

Wataru Endo accomplished a feat not witnessed at Liverpool in eighteen years in their victory over Burnley

On Boxing Day, Wataru Endo made history by starting for Liverpool against Burnley, a feat not witnessed at the club in eighteen years. All of Jurgen Klopp’s faith lies in the Japanese international.

Wataru Endo got the start for Liverpool against Burnley in their Premier League match on Boxing Day. He achieved something by doing so that the Reds had not seen in 18 years.

Liverpool hasn’t played a game in thirteen days, as Michael Reid noted on Twitter. Since January 2006, no player has been able to replicate Endo’s feat of having started every single one.

Rotation was less popular back then than it is today. Consequently, a number of players—Steven Finnan, Jamie Carragher, Sami Hyypia, Steven Gerrard, Harry Kewell, and Peter Crouch—started five games in a span of thirteen days.

But since managers started to limit the amount of games players started, nobody has done it. Endo was unusual back then, and he didn’t really need to start the game.

Endo’s time at Liverpool got off to a rough start. In fact, he seemed out of his element in some of his early games, which were just plain awful.

But because Jurgen Klopp persisted in starting him, the holding midfielder is currently the most reliable member of the starting lineup. Naturally, part of that is that, with Stefan Bajcetic and Alexis Mac Allister still sidelined due to injuries, Endo is the only holding midfielder on the team.

However, it also demonstrates how much Klopp believes in the player. Endo was genuinely one yellow card away from punishment going into the Burnley match. The manager played him for the entire ninety minutes, not only when he got off to a good start.

He also never did pick up the yellow, and on New Year’s Day, he’ll be available to play against Newcastle United. Given the current course of events, it is reasonable to anticipate that he will lead.

Roundup of Liverpool transfers: Jurgen Klopp makes a suggestion as "enquiry made" in relation to PSG's bid

Jurgen Klopp may have more work than he anticipated in January as Liverpool struggles with several injuries and attempts to make a title challenge in the second half of the season.

Liverpool might still be nursing a grudge from not being seated atop the tree on Christmas Day.

If the Reds have learned anything from their draw with Arsenal on Saturday, it is that they can now confidently pursue a second Premier League title as they approach 2024. A questionable penalty ruling and the clang of the Arsenal crossbar kept Jurgen Klopp’s team from winning the title for the Christmas holidays, even though the spoils were shared with the league leaders.

Liverpool can’t afford to sit back and relax since they have a match against Burnley on Boxing Day. However, with the January transfer window opening in just one week, Klopp might have other urgent things on his mind.

    Reds ‘make enquiry’

Roundup of Liverpool transfers: Jurgen Klopp makes a suggestion as "enquiry made" in relation to PSG's bid

In relation to centre backs, Liverpool is said to have enquired about Fluminense’s captain Nino.

The 26-year-old is an important member of the Brazilian team and was involved in their recent Club World Cup final loss to Manchester City. With Matip’s contract ending in the summer and Gomez expected to fill in for the injured Robertson and Tsimikas at left back, Klopp may decide to bring in defensive reinforcements as soon as possible.

As per Sportitalia’s reports (via Liverpool Transfer Room), Fluminense has been contacted by multiple teams, including Liverpool, to ascertain Nino’s availability. The fact that his current deal expires at the end of 2024 may help Liverpool acquire him for less money.

    PSG land Liverpool target

Roundup of Liverpool transfers: Jurgen Klopp makes a suggestion as "enquiry made" in relation to PSG's bid

Liverpool’s failure to sign Lucas Beraldo may have stoked the team’s interest in Nino.

The 20-year-old defender’s stellar performances for Sao Paulo has made him a target for Liverpool. However, it now appears that the centre defender has agreed to a £17 million transfer to Paris Saint-Germain, per writer Fabrizio Romano (via Goal).

As he tries to replace Matip, Klopp is rumoured to have identified Beraldo as a ‘potential for the future’. PSG defeated a number of elite teams, including Wolves, Bayern Munich, and Zenit St. Petersburg, and it appears like he will formally move into the Parc des Princes in January.

After his Liverpool squad defeated LASK at Anfield on Thursday night, earning themselves a little respite, Jurgen Klopp will be happy.

A 4-0 triumph was secured by two goals from Cody Gakpo and one each from Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz, albeit the Austrian visitors did not exactly lack opportunities. News from Liverpool: Jurgen Klopp talks about Mo Salah's situation as the reds "real talent" emerges

Wataru Endo, a recent arrival who “will be disappointed” that he hasn’t yet forced his way into Jurgen Klopp’s starting XI, according to former Liverpool striker Michael Owen.

Endo joined in the summer from Stuttgart in a £16.2m deal, but his play has mostly been restricted to the Carabao Cup and Europa League. In an attempt to permanently replace Alexis Mac Allister in the defensive midfield position, he was given his fifth start in five games in Europe against LASK. However, Owen believes Endo might be resentful that he hasn’t been used more frequently.

“I think he’s going to feel a little let down right now. Other than him, there isn’t really a natural sitting central midfielder in that Liverpool team. However, Mac Allister is being moved into that position during crucial games, so I imagine he’s a little let down that he hasn’t established himself in that role.”

For the first time in his Reds career, Mo Salah led Liverpool at Anfield, and the Egyptian scored to commemorate the moment he had been waiting for so long.

Although Salah had previously received the armband, he had never abandoned his team when playing at home. In fact, he was displeased with having been passed over in favour of Trent Alexander-Arnold back in 2020.

However, this time, Jurgen Klopp finally addressed the issue that left his striker “disappointed” three years ago, starting Salah, with Alexander-Arnold and regular captain Virgil van Dijk on the bench.

    Klopp praises the “real talent”

Under Klopp’s leadership, Liverpool supporters have seen a number of the team’s academy players play, and one more may be ready to break into the starting lineup.

Along with fellow rookie Luke Chambers, Conor Bradley made his first appearance for the Reds since January 2022 by coming off the bench. Bradley made an impression while on loan at Bolton last season, and many predict he will play a significant role for Liverpool going forward.

The Liverpool dressing room’s verdict on Jurgen Klopp's rebuild during summer window

Liverpool signed players such as Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexis Mac Allister and Ryan Gravenberch this summer to remind Manchester City and Arsenal of their title credentials.

Joel Matip believes Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool 2.0 has evolved into a different style – but the old mentality remains as strong as ever.

The defender, who was Klopp’s second signing at Anfield when he signed on a pre-contract eight years ago, believes his character – which is the manager’s trademark – can produce trophies again. The Reds have not won a major trophy since the 2022 FA Cup.

Speaking about Liverpool’s new look after a complete midfield reboot this summer, the veteran centre-back said: “It’s my eighth season (at Anfield) and the manager has tried to adapt our style during my time here .”

“It’s not the same football we played six or seven years ago, so he’s adapting.” But he still tries to do it his way and I think it works quite well.
All the new players have adapted well.
Overall, our start to the season isn’t that bad.

“But performance-wise, we’re not exactly where we want to be in the last 90-plus minutes.
In the end, we’ve turned things around a lot and it’s good to know we still have the quality to do that.”

For Matip, the new look of football, as Liverpool have evolved their passing style under Klopp, has already made an impression.
Speaking about new signings Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister, he said: “Dom and Macca played almost all the time and did so brilliantly.

The Liverpool dressing room’s verdict on Jurgen Klopp's rebuild during summer window

“You can see that both playing with the ball and against the ball their adaptation has been fantastic – they have never really looked new here.”

The defender also believes Klopp’s other summer midfield signings, Wataru Endo and Ryan Gravenberch, have already shown promising signs despite being signed at the end of the transfer window with little time to adapt.

“Wataru and Ryan arrived later, but they have already shown that they can help us too,” he explained to the club’s official website.
“All the new players have done a fantastic job so far and I’m really looking forward to seeing them play.”

And he believes there is a real chance of glory this season with Liverpool already showing signs of battle on four fronts, including keeping pace with champions Manchester City in the title race.
“We have four competitions ahead of us and we want to be as successful as possible in each of them,” he explained.

“We want to give everything, but no one knows what will happen in the end.
We are just focusing on our next game and working hard to do the best we can there. This is my eighth season at Liverpool and I have always tried to do my best for the team.
When I am needed, I want to be there and show my quality.

Manu Kone, a midfielder for Borussia Monchengladbach, was initially reportedly a target for Liverpool during the summer and the Reds are reportedly still interested in him.

As Fabinho, Jordan Henderson, James Milner, Naby Keita, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain all left Anfield, the Reds ultimately moved for different targets on that occasion, bringing in four new players in the form of Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, Ryan Gravenberch, and Wataru Endo.

Bayern Munich are reportedly interested in Kone, while Liverpool’s interest in the player also appears to be ongoing, according to Daily Briefing columnist Christian Falk, who posted from his account on X.

Falk asserts that Kone is still under the Merseyside giants’ radar in the passage below.

It will be interesting to see whether Liverpool keeps making the rebuilding of their midfield a priority, or if they decide to turn their attention to other areas of their roster next.

Since players like Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah aren’t getting any younger, they’ll soon need to be replaced with more long-term options.

However, Kone is a great talent and one that other major clubs will probably be vying for as well, so it is definitely worth keeping an eye on

According to sources, Liverpool prioritizes the Andre deal in January.after bid submitted

Prior to the January transfer window, sources have told Football Insider that Liverpool is still interested in signing Fluminense midfielder Andre.

The Reds underwent a significant midfield rebuild in the summer, but there is still work to be done, as another offer for the 22-year-old is anticipated in the winter.

In August, Football Insider reported that Liverpool had multiple offers for Andre from Fluminense rejected.

The Merseysiders, however, won’t give up trying to sign the midfielder in January and will make another push.

On Monday (9 October), Football Insider reported that Liverpool would prioritize signing Andre over a move for Bayer Leverkusen defender Piero Hincapie.

Fluminense wanted to hold onto the midfielder until the mid-season transfer window as they strive to become the first team to ever win the Copa Libertadores.

They have since advanced to the competition’s final, which will take place on November 4 in Brazil against the legendary Boca Juniors soccer team from Argentina.

With the Brazilian season not expected to end until December, Andre has made 48 appearances in all leagues this year, scoring once.

Since making his professional debut in September 2020, he has played a total of 156 games for his boyhood club Fluminense.

The 22-year-old’s contract is valid until December 2026.

Andre made his senior debut for Brazil against Senegal earlier this year and was on the team for their matches last month.

Fourth-placed Liverpool in the Premier League added midfielders Wataru Endo, Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Ryan Gravenberch during the summer transfer window.

After Liverpool struck a deal that changed the game, FSG’s £74 million plan was made public.

Liverpool now looking to sign £50m player who Pep Guardiola says is ‘really, really good’

Liverpool is thinking about renewing their pursuit of Pedro Neto, a forward of Wolves.

For the past two years or so, the Reds have been intermittently linked with a move for Neto. But since his serious injury at Molineux derailed him, nothing has ever appeared particularly promising.

But, according to Football Transfers, this summer, everything might change.
In the event that Mohamed Salah decides to move to Saudi Arabia, they contend that Neto has been “added to their wish-list” due to his outstanding start to the Premier League season.

Liverpool is said to have had the 23-year-old “under consideration” as a potential Salah replacement after having him “on their radar” for “some time.”.

To get Neto out of Wolves, though, doesn’t seem to be going to be an easy task.
According to reports, Liverpool is “unhappy” with how their Premier League rivals value the Portugal international.

According to reports, Anfield has the impression that players who are of interest to them are having their asking prices raised by £20 million as a result of the potential sale of Mohamed Salah.
It is suggested that this also takes into account Neto’s estimation.

But Wolves’ wide receiver isn’t the only player Liverpool is considering. Federico Chiesa and another player who has not been identified are reportedly also being taken into consideration.

Liverpool is debating moving for Neto.

Neto ought to be considered if Liverpool finds itself needing to replace Salah in the upcoming campaign.

The Egyptian may eventually succeed Mo, even if the Reds are able to hold onto him once more.

At the age of 23, Neto is now beginning to display the form he has consistently threatened.
This season, the Portuguese has one goal and four assists in seven Premier League games.
One of those who was impressed is Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, who just last week described the forward as a “really, really good player” [Reuters].

With an incredible display of wing-play on Saturday, Neto returned Pep’s favor by setting up Ruben Dias’ own goal in the opening period.

Neto is a unique left-footed wide player with Premier League experience who is still developing.
Wolves allegedly set their No. 1 player’s price at £50 million in the summer of 2022.
7 [Metro], but the cost of living shouldn’t deter Liverpool.

That valuation may yet increase if he maintains his excellent performance.
According to what was previously stated, if the Reds spend a lot of money on Salah, they might also have to pay more.

Neto appears to be a potentially excellent candidate at the moment, though, in either case.
When Mo is set aside, a front-three of Neto, Nunez, and Diaz appears to have what it takes to guide Liverpool into a promising new era

Last year, the Anfield team was interested in acquiring him from AS Monaco, but he decided to go to Real Madrid instead.
The French international was even mentioned in connection with the Merseysiders during the previous summer transfer window.

Liverpool will now make a big effort to sign the 23-year-old, who is unhappy at the Bernabeu after frequently being substituted out, claims Spanish source Todo Fichajes.

The midfielder, who is valued at £73million, has only played the full 90 minutes on three occasions in his eight appearances so far this season because manager Carlo Ancelotti likes to start his favorite veterans, Kroos and Modric.

Klopp needs a top-tier player for the No. 1 spot, according to the media.
The Reds intend to sign Tchouameni in the January transfer window for the No. 6 position.

The deep-lying midfield position is also one that Thiago Alcantara is capable of playing, but the Spaniard hasn’t played a single minute this year due to injury, and he’s expected to sign a bosman contract next summer.

According to rumors, the World Cup 2022 star may even look into a loan deal and return to Madrid at the end of the current campaign.

Should Liverpool make a £73.5 million offer to finally sign Aurelien Tchouameni, in your opinion?

Jurgen Klopp praises the ‘super’ 21-year-old Liverpool player

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has praised debutant Ryan Gravenberch after he made his debut for the club in last night’s 3-1 win over LASK.

The 21-year-old played a central role in midfield and also provided a stunning assist to Luis Diaz to give Liverpool the lead for the first time in the match.

Even though it was the Dutchman’s first match as a starter in four months, you wouldn’t have guessed it as he put in a solid performance before limping off in the second half.

There was concern among Liverpool fans when they saw the 21-year-old midfielder being replaced, but Klopp insists it was just a cramp and not a serious problem.

Jurgen Klopp talks about “super” Ryan Gravenberch

Speaking to TNT Sports after the win, the Liverpool manager recognized the 21-year-old immediately after his performance.

“Ryan [Gravenberch] played a fantastic match and was really decisive for us.
“(He played) very well, I think it was his first start in a while and he did very well.

“He was the best player on the pitch for a long time and in the first half the frustration grew a little and you saw him get lost a little.

“But it’s normal, these things happen, but he stayed in the game as long as possible and had excellent moments.
He set up a nice goal for Luis Diaz and since he didn’t know much about his teammates, it looked pretty good.
    Well .”

Since moving from Stuttgart to Liverpool over the summer, Wataru Endo has only appeared in 91 minutes of Premier League action

Since moving from Stuttgart to Liverpool over the summer, Wataru Endo has only appeared in 91 minutes of Premier League action, and Jurgen Klopp has outlined why.

Despite the midfielder’s limited playing time this season, Wataru Endo is a “super-important” player for Liverpool, according to Jurgen Klopp.

Despite the midfielder’s limited playing time thus far this season, Wataru Endo has been deemed a “super-important” player by Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.

Meanwhile, Ryan Gravenberch is being gradually brought up to speed after not getting enough playing time at his previous team Bayern Munich.

Endo, however, has only played 91 minutes of Premier League action since arriving at the club from Stuttgart in August, and Klopp has now given an explanation for why.

The Japan international was still getting used to life at Anfield, according to Klopp, who was speaking after Liverpool’s 3-1 victory over West Ham on Sunday and during which Endo made a late appearance off the bench in the 88th minute. Klopp also claimed that Endo’s “very calm and very polite” nature had “cost him the first two weeks.”. He insisted the 30-year-old “will start games” and is “not a short-term project” as well.

“He needs to adjust to the things here,” said Klopp. Wataru is an awesome guy who is extremely composed and gracious, and that cost him the first two weeks, possibly.
That’s now approaching. He isn’t 30 or anything, but he wants to get past a few people to join the team, and he is getting better every day.

You saw that today; he’s there, he’ll help us a lot, he’ll play games, he’ll start games, and all that sort of stuff.
It’s all good because he has already played in three or four games for us in a very short time.
Since this is a long-term project, that is what matters.
I’m thrilled to have Wataru because he is a crucial member of the team.

Liverpool has had a successful start to the season, drawing their first match against Chelsea before defeating Bournemouth, Newcastle, Aston Villa, Wolves, and West Ham.
They also started out well in the Europa League on Thursday, defeating LASK 3-1 after coming from behind.

And Klopp is delighted with his “crazy” options in his revamped Liverpool 2.0 side.
After the victory over LASK in Austria, he said, “I love the squad and I love the depth.

“We can still change 11 names for a team that is still without Trent, Conor Bradley, and Thiago.
It is totally absurd. If we have luck, and by luck I mean that everyone stays healthy, and we have 23 players at this level, we can react in all of the games, and we should always have a really good team on the field.
That is very appealing to me.

Positive outcomes, of course, contribute to a stronger sense of community. That is always the situation. We achieved our shared goals of being present and winning the gagame.

Liverpool’s New Fantastic Four! Jurgen Klopp completes £145m rebuild of his midfield with arrivals of Gravenberch, Szoboszlai, Mac Allister and Endo to replace Saudi veterans Henderson and Fabinho

Let’s talk about six, honey. That was the famous phrase Jurgen Klopp coined when Liverpool won their sixth European Cup in Madrid, a play on the Salt-N-Pepa hit Let’s Talk About Sex.
Four years later, the Reds’ summer semester history is roughly six years.

The long search for a number 6 – a midfielder who favors those who prefer the traditional language – has seen them publicly drop two important goals, fight to sign a little-known 30-year-old and finish in the bottom two. hours of Deadline Day, make it feel light in the central areas.

But with an hour and a quarter remaining in England’s transfer window, Liverpool have finally released the official announcement: Ryan Gravenberch has arrived from Bayern Munich.
Klopp and sporting director Jörg Schmätäke have finally found their man.

The Dutch midfielder completed the incredible four midfield additions for Klopp and Co after new additions Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexis Mac Allister and Wataru Endo.

Three of the four new signings are 24 or younger and the Liverpool midfielder now looks refreshed.

Liverpool have signed Dutch midfielder Ryan Gravenberch from Bayern Munich for £35million.

The Reds finalized their trip one hour and 15 minutes before the end of the transfer window.

You didn’t have to be a football expert to see how desperate the Merseyside club were to rebuild.
Although they finished fifth last season after a late rebound in form, the midfielder has often been blamed for a significantly below average season.
And so Klopp approved the departure of James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita, as they went on loan for Fabio Carvalho.
But they were rocked by two unplanned exits in mid-summer when Jordan Henderson and Fabinho left for Saudi Arabia.

Henderson’s departure sparked a major debate after the Englishman betrayed the LGBTQ+ community by relinquishing previous allegiances as one of the few high-profile male players to support gay people.
A football-related debate soon ensued about what Klopp’s team was losing.

Although Henderson and Fabinho had seen better days on the pitch – neither had reached their top level last season – the pair’s departure left Liverpool incredibly light in midfield and they entered the new season without a recognized midfielder.
Endo was a bargain at £16.2m but was clearly not the club’s No.6 first choice after public prosecutions for Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia.
As things stand, Liverpool are left with four midfielders for barely more than Chelsea paid for Ecuadorian Caicedo.

“We had to reinvent the team, the midfield will be like this and completely new, in recent years we had to do the same with our front,” said Klopp, who says he is particularly happy with the new arrivals.
They lacked the appeal of Champions League football.

“We got younger but we had to, we have less experience but that’s normal but we are full of desire.” I love this team.
Age is not a problem. These players have already played many matches at a very high level.

“I know it’s been a long time, but in Dortmund we became the youngest champions in history and a year later we became the second youngest champions in history because the team was a year old.
    more.

It’s not a problem, it didn’t hold us back then and it won’t hold us back now.”

After three league games this season, Szoboszlai is shaping up to be one of the best signings of the summer.

Unlike long sagas about a defensive midfielder, Szoboszlai was quick to wrap up, signing just three days after negotiations with Liverpool began.
Sporting director Jorg Schmadtke is said to have been instrumental in much of the summer’s activities, noting that three of the German’s four signings have come from Bundesliga clubs.
José Fortes Rodriguez, right arm of former super agent Mino Raiola, is also influential.

Jürgen Klopp will be happy with his midfield signings during the summer transfer window

In their last six starts this summer, Liverpool have lost 1,776 Premier League games.

But all the new guys, despite their young age, have considerable experience.

Endo and Szoboszlai are the captains of their respective national teams, respectively of Japan and Hungary.

Mac Allister won a World Cup and was instrumental in Argentina’s success.

Those close to the former Brighton player say he is ‘like a bulldog’ in training.

Although it didn’t work out at Bayern Munich, Gravenberch played over 100 times for Ajax.

Klopp likes Gravenberch for his versatility and the Dutchman will play all over midfield.

This completes the remodeling of the midfield.
“Ryan knows he needs to improve but he’s 21, it would be crazy not to,” the manager said.

“But he’s super talented, he can control the ball, he can be a box-to-box threat.

He has good feeling for a pass and a good pass.
I’ve said before that we have a big challenge to reinvent one of the most successful midfielders this club has ever had and I really like that.
