In recent months, Liverpool has been linked to a move for Real Madrid’s desired forward Kylian Mbappe of Paris Saint-Germain.
Real Madrid has their eye on Kylian Mbappe as well. However, according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport via Paisley Gates, Liverpool is the Premier League team most likely to recruit him.
Kylian Mbappe: One of the World’s Best
The 25-year-old has made a name for himself as a top player, and his addition to Liverpool’s assault could be tremendous. This season, Mbappe has scored 28 goals in all competitions.
Liverpool will need to find a suitable replacement for Mohamed Salah, who has been linked to a summer move away from the club. Acquiring the French international striker can turn out to be a prudent choice. Mbappe has been an important member of the team and nation in recent years. He led his nation to the 2022 World Cup final and assisted them in winning the World Cup in 2018.
Someone Like Mbappe Might Be Needed by Liverpool
Mbappe has the potential to greatly enhance Liverpool and is set to become the next big thing in sports. He can play anywhere in the front three due to his versatility, and he might be the best player to take Salah’s place in terms of creativity and goal scoring.
If the Egyptian international does not sign an extension with Liverpool this summer, they may be under pressure to sell him. His contract with the club expires in the summer of 2025. At the end of this season, Mbappe will become a free agent, and it is unclear if Liverpool will be able to sign him for nothing.
If the Premier League team is able to complete the transaction, it would be a huge coup. It would be intriguing to watch if the young Spanish player can prevail in the competition for his signature because Real Madrid is also serious about signing him. They have already defeated Liverpool by acquiring Jude Bellingham and Aurelien Tchouameni.
It is reasonable to presume that Liverpool will need to entice the French international to join them with attractive salaries.
Despite being a free transfer, there will probably be a substantial signing-on fee. all in all. It is uncertain if Liverpool will be able to secure the necessary funding for such a costly acquisition.
It will be difficult to compete with Real Madrid, and in order to have any chance, they need to guarantee Champions League qualification.
PSG is currently making every effort to hang onto the player, and they have already made him an offer of a deal that would see him make about €100 million a year. Salah now receives a season salary from Liverpool of about €20 million; however, they will need to significantly increase that amount in order to lure Mbappe.

Arsenal will imitate Brighton as Arteta challenges Liverpool for the Argentine sensation
Arsenal is rumoured to be interested in recruiting one of Boca Juniors’ most promising young players, hoping to emulate Brighton & Hove Albion.
After Brighton defeated Manchester City and Chelsea to land 19-year-old Valentin Barco for €9 million, Arsenal is reportedly interested in signing his former teammate Ezequiel Fernandez.
El Crack Deportivo, an Argentine daily, claims that after watching Barco go for the Premier League, Boca is concerned about losing Fernandez.
The source claims that Fernandez might cost up to €15 million. Arsenal intends to send scouts to the CONMEBOL Pre-Olympic Tournament in 2024 to watch Fernandez compete for the Argentina U23 team.
In an effort to strengthen that area of the pitch, Mikel Arteta has been linked to the Gunners’ pursuit of a new central midfielder for a number of months.
Arsenal is also interested in Joao Palhinha, but Douglas Luiz remains the main target despite worries about Aston Villa’s potential asking price.
Liverpool was heavily connected to a trade for Fernandez in 2023. Reports state that Benfica, Inter Milan, and Sevilla are also keeping an eye on Fernandez.
Will Liverpool fight for the acquisition of Fernandez?
Alexis Mac Allister, the midfielder Liverpool acquired from Brighton & Hove Albion last summer, is a major Fernandez admirer. “If you ask me a little more about my style, there is a player that I really like and that is Equi Fernández,” he said to TyC Sports, as reported by AnfieldWatch. He is a player who, in my opinion, has every opportunity to travel to Europe in the future.
He is a really good player who has a great understanding of the game. He can play as an inside player or as a five because he can play with both legs and is always ready to receive the ball. He’s a player with some excellent circumstances, and if Brighton asked, I would mention his name.
