Why Leroy Sané previously rejected a move to Liverpool as new transfer rumors surface.

Leroy Sané, a forward for Bayern Munich, has been linked to Liverpool. The player has previously explained why he turned down Jürgen Klopp.

Earlier in his career, Leroy Sané, a star player for Bayern Munich, decided to transfer to Liverpool after speaking with Jürgen Klopp on the phone. Sané, who transferred from Schalke 04 to the Premier League in 2016, rejected a move to Liverpool and instead joined Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.

However, the Daily Mirror reported over the weekend that Liverpool is considering a move for Sané as it gets ready for the possibility that Mohamed Salah will leave.
Salah’s future has been the focus of intense rumor, with Al-Ittihad of the Saudi Pro League showing interest during the summer transfer window.

The Saudi club verbally offered up to $182 million (£150 million/€173 million) for Salah, and they might do so once more soon. In light of this, Liverpool’s pursuit of Sané as a Salah replacement has gained traction.
It’s important to remember that Sané previously disclosed, prior to joining Manchester City, his close call with Liverpool.

Sané acknowledged that he spoke with Liverpool and that Klopp personally contacted him in an interview with The Guardian published in 2018. Sané had nothing but praise for Klopp, praising his work at Borussia Dortmund and characterizing him as a decent and honest man. Sané ultimately decided to sign with Manchester City, though.

Sané’s current Bayern Munich contract has two years left on it.
In Bavaria, there have been discussions about a potential contract extension.
It’s crucial to remember that Liverpool generally adheres to a transfer policy that forbids them from pursuing players who will turn 28 in January, which may have an impact on their purported pursuit of Sané.

Although Sané’s potential move to Liverpool is still up in the air, it is obvious that Klopp has been interested in the player ever since his days at Dortmund.
It is unclear whether Liverpool will pursue Sané in the future or look into other options to bolster their team.

The best course of action, as usual, would be to keep Salah and give the Egyptian a long-term contract.
Sané is excellent, but he is not as good as Salah and would not score as many goals.

More news…….

Liverpool has been informed that a £87 million winger could succeed Mohamed Salah.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia

Pundit Stephen Warnock has named “the only player” who could potentially replace Mohamed Salah at Liverpool.

Speculation is rife over Salah’s future at Anfield following strong interest from the Saudi Pro League over the summer.

Al Ittihad ultimately saw a bid of around £150m rejected by Liverpool.
And when Darren Bent asked on TalkSPORT whether he would sell the Egyptian for that kind of fee in the near future, former Red Warnock said there should be someone lined up to replace Salah – and that he would offer the man who he thinks he can do it.

“I wouldn’t sell him this season, maybe next, but you have to have someone on the pitch,” began the expert.
“The only player that comes to mind is Khvicha Kvaratskhelia from Napoli.

“He’s the only player you look at and think ‘young, potential, he can play’, but he’s a left wing player, could he play on the right?

“[Dominik] Szoboszlai, he played there in Leipzig, will he play higher if he goes? The scouting network won’t be active now, right, knowing that Salah is getting closer to that point.”

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia

Liverpool advised to go for Kvara

Last year at this time not many people were aware of the magical quality of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

But fast forward 12 months and he could face any team in the world.
He may have faded towards the end of the season, but he was still a key factor in Napoli’s first Scudetto win in 33 years.

Twelve goals and ten assists in Serie A have everyone talking about “Kvaradona”, and Europe’s traditional elite are all connected, including Liverpool.

So far, Napoli are determined to keep the 22-year-old.
There was talk of a figure of 87 million pounds needed to remove him from southern Italy.
However, if Liverpool were to sell Salah, raising that kind of money wouldn’t be a big deal.
If the Reds’ recruitment team – like Warnock – believed Kvaratskhelia was the right man to replace Mo, they would certainly be happy to pay.

Traditionally, however, Liverpool have not always chosen the most obvious option.
And even if, as Warnock says, the Georgian is more of a left-footed player than a right-handed one, he would still be a fairly obvious and successful signing.

If the Reds are convinced, it would be no surprise if they chose Kvara as Salah’s potential successor. But we think a more natural replacement in the form of Pedro Neto might be a better bet for now.
