Things seen during Liverpool’s practice sessions prior to their Premier League matchup with Burnley.

In preparation for their Premier League match against Burnley, Liverpool practiced in the snow.

On Thursday, at the AXA Training Centre, Jurgen Klopp’s team underwent drills in an attempt to get back to winning ways after suffering a 3-1 defeat to Arsenal the previous game.

Mo Salah, nevertheless, looks like he will miss more games for the Reds. The forward is still rehabilitating from a hamstring injury. Salah, who had an injury during the African Cup of Nations, was seen in the gym with the team but has not yet joined his teammates on the pitch.

Thiago Alcantara was not involved in the game because he sustained a fresh muscle injury after his brief debut at Arsenal, which was his first in nine months. Dominik Szoboszlai, who has a hamstring problem, wasn’t either.

Conor Bradley seems to be hinting to another absence in the meanwhile. After his father passed away, the 20-year-old was granted compassionate leave, and Liverpool will extend his stay as long as they can.

The fact that Joe Gomez was invisible could also be a cause for concern. While Andy Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas were sidelined due to injuries, the defender did an outstanding job filling in at left defence. Gomez participated in all ten of the prior games until being taken off the field at Arsenal in the last moments. Still, it might just be a matter of the camera missing him.

Better news: it seems like Tsimikas is back to full training. After breaking his collarbone in a 1-1 tie with Arsenal at Anfield, he has missed the last six weeks of activity, and Liverpool has been waiting for the all-clear to bring him back into action. Wataru Endo, who returned from the Asian Cup following Japan’s elimination, ought to play against Burnley as well.

In the meanwhile, the session featured a number of children. Among them was 16-year-old Kornel Misciur, the custodian, who shook hands with Alisson Becker and Caoimhin Kelleher. Miscuir, who joined from Hull City in the summer, has played in 13 games for the under-18 team this year and has contributed to their trip to the FA Youth Cup quarterfinals.

16-year-old Trey Nyoni resumed training. The midfield player, who joined from Leicester City, has frequently been benched by Klopp’s team. The manager of Liverpool recently referred to Nyoni as “special,” with the highly productive Jayden Danns and Lewis Koumas, who also had an opportunity to make an impression.

More news…….

4 players are out and seven are questionable for Liverpool’s match against Burnley in the Premier League.

4. Ben Doak - out

Prior to Liverpool’s Premier League match versus Burnley at Anfield, there are injury updates.

Liverpool will host Burnley at Anfield on Saturday (15.00 GMT) in an attempt to go back to winning ways.

The Reds’ hopes of winning the Premier League title were dashed last weekend when they lost 3-1 to Arsenal. In north London, Jurgen Klopp’s men were soundly trounced and had little cause for concern.

Liverpool’s lead at the top of the table was reduced to two points as a result. And if Manchester City defeats Everton in the midday kickoff, the Reds will be eliminated from the top spot going into their match.

But Klopp won’t be too concerned about that. The Reds still have a chance to win the trophy because they have only dropped two league games this season.

On Boxing Day, Burnley and Liverpool faced off at Turf Moor, with Liverpool winning 2-0. Even though the Clarets are seven points outside of safety and in second place, Klopp has already stated that the Reds will not underestimate their rival.

Here is a preview of the team news for both teams before the match.

1. Ibrahima Konate – out

4. Ben Doak - out
