After his first season at Liverpool ended, Alexis Mac Allister purchased a brand-new, opulent mansion in Cheshire; the previous owner was Celtics manager Brendan Rodgers.
As he begins his second season at Anfield, Liverpool player Alexis Mac Allister has shelled out £3.9 million on a brand-new, opulent residence.
The Sun reports that the midfielder, who is presently representing Argentina in the Copa America, bought the player from former Reds manager Brendan Rodgers. The house that Rodgers, the manager of Celtic now, purchased in 2022 while he was still the manager of Leicester City, came with a £50,000 price tag.
Situated on a posh street in Wilmslow, Cheshire, the mansion was listed for £4.2 million last summer, but in January, the price was dropped by £200,000. But it seems like Mac Allister, 25, was able to work out an even better deal.
The star player for Liverpool will have a forty-mile trip to train at Melwood under new manager Arne Slot, but he will have plenty of comfort in his new five-bedroom house. The opulent residence has a bar area, beautifully landscaped gardens, and a gym as well.
“An exceptional double gable-fronted contemporary residence finished to an uncompromising standard located on one of Wilmslow’s most prestigious roads,” reads the property’s description.
Reportedly purchased in May, Mac Allister’s magnificent residence boasts a “lavish principle suite & dressing room,” a “beautiful Siematic kitchen & central island,” and “impressive bathroom suites.”
In addition, the Cheshire mansion has air conditioning, underfloor heating, CCTV, and electronically operated blinds. Not to mention the ceiling-mounted speakers.
Additionally, it is rumoured that “leisure facilities” will be constructed on the property’s land with planning permission.
But once the agreement was finalised, Mac Allister won’t be able to spend a lot of time at home. The Argentina international had to report for international duty soon after the season ended in order to be in the United States for the Copa America.
The former Brighton player has participated in three of his team’s first four games. Throughout the competition, Mac Allister has contributed assists against both Canada and Ecuador. He also scored in the team’s penalty shootout victory over the latter, which helped the team advance to the semifinals.
