Liverpool has a £50 million transfer plan to complete the dream move of Arne Slot.

Without a doubt, Arne Slot will want to settle into his new home and add his own flair to the Liverpool team this summer.
It appears that Liverpool is still hoping to sign Anthony Gordon this summer. The 23-year-old winger has recently been strongly linked to a move to Anfield as Newcastle United attempts to generate money and Arne Slot tries to improve his frontline.
The ECHO is aware that Eddie Howe’s team approached the Reds in an attempt to meet the Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSRs) by requesting Jarell Quansah in exchange for Gordon in a player-plus-cash trade. After breaking into the first team, it’s thought that Liverpool has no intention of offloading the 21-year-old defender this summer or anytime soon.
After Quansah signed a new long-term deal in May of last year, he made 33 appearances for the Reds in the previous campaign, and Slot believes he is a valuable element of the team. To sweeten the pot, the Dutchman is said to be offering Newcastle a different player.
Liverpool is reportedly willing to pay £50 million and Caoimhin Kelleher in exchange for Gordon, according to TeamTalk. The 25-year-old custodian is valued by the Reds between £25 and £35 million, according to the source, thus the overall estimated value of the deal would be between £75 and £85 million.
Gordon has made no secret of his love for Liverpool, even though he established his name as an Everton player in the Premier League. He praised Steven Gerrard as one of his childhood heroes last month.
“My childhood football idol was Steven Gerrard,” Gordon said in an interview with The Overlap last month. “Coming from Liverpool, he was like a God in Liverpool, and he was an unbelievable player.”
Gordon has praised Mohamed Salah as well. “My confidence stems from my preparation,” he continued. I’m not sure where it originated, but I don’t think anyone in my immediate vicinity is like that. I simply enjoy learning new things, and as I’ve gotten older, I’ve developed a penchant for studying psychology.
“There might be many people who simply haven’t talked about it who act in the same way as me. Some football players would rather play without thinking too much and just follow their gut. I really adore the idea of envisioning myself there before I actually arrive.
“When I heard Mo Salah discuss it, I became even more interested because I think he’s a winner and an amazing machine. People such as these are safe to follow, so you won’t go too wrong.”
Then, on his international service, Gordon was asked which stadium he had most loved playing in when he was speaking on Channel 4’s TikTok channel. “It’s Anfield by far, other than St. James’ Park,” he remarked.
“It seems like I grew up watching it because I’m from the city. However, I just believe that the song “You’ll Never Walk Alone” before the game is at an extremely high level.”
