The most recent Mateo Kovacic, Paulo Dybala, and Dusan Vlahovic news, rumors, and stories regarding the Chelsea transfer market.

    Rio Ferdinand claims

Rio Ferdinand has outlined the reasons why Chelsea made a mistake by selling Mateo Kovacic. Speaking on his FIVE YouTube channel, the former Manchester United defender emphasized the Croatian international’s “shrewd” price tag and what he will provide Manchester City.

Kovacic is a fantastic addition for Man City, said Ferdinand. “Obviously, they lost Gundogan, the captain, but I believe Kovacic is a wise signing, especially at that price. I believe he was worth £30 million, which is a lot of money in the current market.

He has the most experience, has won the biggest trophies, and is a different player than what they have in that position. He can move the ball through the lines, so in my opinion, he was a wise signing. I believe City will make another move elsewhere [within the squad]. “.

    Dybala endorsed

Paulo Dybala can now be acquired by Chelsea this summer thanks to Thiago Silva. As Mauricio Pochettino looks to improve his frontline options, the 29-year-old forward has been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge recently.

The seasoned defender said, “I saw Paulo Dybala here, they talk about him at Chelsea,” while at Sunday’s British Grand Prix at Silverstone and speaking to Sky Sports. Hope he shows up. I’ve spoken to him and asked him if he’ll be attending. A player of the highest caliber, he.

Typically, Spanish or Portuguese are used to communicate. He refused to respond when I asked him if he wanted to visit Chelsea. A champion, he is. He would lend a great hand if he came. “.

    Vlahovic deal swap

Chelsea has received a major boost in their pursuit of Dusan Vlahovic this summer. The 23-year-old has recently been strongly linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, with Mauricio Pochettino reportedly still searching for a striker despite having already signed Nicolas Jackson.

Corriere dello Sport claims that Juventus has told the Blues that if Romelu Lukaku is included in a player plus cash swap deal, they can sign Vlahovic for just €25 million (£21 million). The report states that the Belgian international has already informed Juventus that he is open to a move to Turin, so Massimiliano Allegri’s team is now expected to try and close a deal with the Blues by offering up the Serbian.

Vlahovic, whose deal with the Allianz Stadium expires in 2026, made 27 appearances for Juventus in the Serie A last season and scored ten goals. The Serbian international has reportedly courted Chelsea despite his struggles in front of goal.

Mauricio Pochettino now have two words to describe Liverpool as a team

Mauricio Pochettino now have two words to describe Liverpool as a team
Mauricio Pochettino has praised Liverpool as a team ahead of Chelsea’s Premier League opener against the Reds next month.

Speaking to the Blues’ official website, the Argentina manager has praised Jurgen Klopp’s side as Chelsea begin pre-season preparations for the upcoming season, which will see the western side of London take on Liverpool in the first match of the 2023/24 Premier League season.

Pochettino was a surprise appointment as Graham Potter’s long-term replacement at Chelsea this summer, but Liverpool are fully aware of what awaits them in the new season this summer with the former PSG and Tottenham manager.

In fact, Pochettono played countless times against Liverpool during his time at Spurs and Southampton and the Argentine is well aware of the Reds’ quality.

The Chelsea manager said: “We will be ready for the first game against Liverpool and it will be so exciting to have the first Premier League game at Stamford Bridge.”

“At Liverpool we will face a very good team, I know that very well from the past. Now it is important to visualize us at Stamford Bridge. We know the stadium very well and we know that together with the fans we create a good atmosphere.”

Pochettino is right to fear Liverpool ahead of their Premier League debut

Chelsea and Liverpool go into the new Premier League season hoping to do better than both clubs managed last season, and for Pochettino, the Blues manager is smart in recognizing the threat ahead in the opening game of the season.

As we know, both clubs are keen to get back into the top four and possibly go one step further by challenging for the Premier League title. And Pochettino could make a dream start at Chelsea by playing against Liverpool at Bridge next month.

Tottenham Hotspur is considering a move for the £60 million Chelsea star.
Tottenham Hotspur, a rival team in London, is interested in Chelsea defender Marc Cucurella.

Marc Cucurella, a defender for Chelsea, is reportedly a target for Tottenham Hotspur this transfer window, according to Football Transfers (h/t Evening Standard).

Ivan Perisic, who joined Tottenham from Inter Milan in the summer, is likely to leave north London after just one season and Spurs are looking to replace him in the team.

Chelsea is eager to unload Cucurella during this transfer window after paying more than £60 million to acquire the player from Brighton one year ago. To put it mildly, the Spaniard’s debut for the club wasn’t particularly impressive.

It was revealed a few days ago that the 24-year-old intends to remain at Stamford Bridge and contend for a starting position under the new manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Saudi Arabian buyers have been considered by Chelsea. Atletico Madrid had shown interest, but Cucurella’s agent dispelled it as a false rumor.

The former Brighton defender was everywhere in a blue shirt last season. He can play as a left-sided center-back in a three or a left-back in a four. He had trouble on defense and occasionally the home crowd even booed him.

It does seem strange that they want to let go of the player after just one campaign considering how much money they spent on him a year ago. However, it appears that is the way that modern football operates. Ruthless!

Cucurella didn’t have much of an impact here, so selling him to Tottenham won’t hurt either this time. Unless he plays Chelsea, he can go there and hopefully have a successful career.

Although it would be unrealistic to ask Spurs to pay what Chelsea did for the Spaniard last year, he is still worth a good portion of that, so the price would be crucial in this potential deal.

    More news……..

Two Serie A sales could determine Lukaku’s future; the striker’s 10 goals could be crucial.

Tottenham Hotspur is considering a move for the £60 million Chelsea star.
It was obvious that it was “club briefing Saturday” when suddenly several journalists covering Chelsea reported that Inter had had their most recent offer for the forward rejected and that Chelsea wanted €45 million for him.

It appears that both Juventus and the Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal are thinking about making an offer at that value.

Don’t discount Inter just yet, though. They appear to be close to transferring goalkeeper Andre  Onana to Manchester United, which would finally give them some extra cash for spending.

In a similar vein, Juventus’ purchase of Lukaku is unlikely unless they can find a home for Dusan Vlahovic, their most recent experiment with the number 9. In Serie A last season, the Serb scored 10 goals, matching Lukaku’s total.

In spite of our desire to get rid of Lukaku as soon as possible, we might need to practice patience and wait until those other deals are completed.

Except, of course, if the Belgian decides to move to Saudi Arabia after all.

In the midst of a Liverpool transfer rumor, Mauricio Pochettino confirms Levi Colwill talks with Chelsea

Mason Mount just proved why Man United still can't match Liverpool and FSG transfer trick
Levi Colwill, a defender for Chelsea, has been linked to a permanent move away from Stamford Bridge throughout this summer. Mauricio Pochettino has provided an update.

Levi Colwill’s place in the team for Thursday’s game against Chelsea has been discussed, according to Mauricio Pochettino.

From other Premier League football teams, such as Liverpool, Colwill is the focus of a lot of interest. London is aware of the Reds’ repeated inquiries about the defender this week. Colwill, however, is still not up for sale, according to Chelsea.

At the European Championships, the 20-year-old is playing for England’s Under-21 team. On Saturday night, the young Three Lions will play Spain in the competition’s championship match, with Chelsea winger Noni Madueke joining Colwill on the field.

“We spoke with Levi and Noni yesterday. Noni, a Tottenham player in the Under-18s, is one that I am familiar with. In his first press conference as Chelsea’s head coach, Pochettino said, “Of course, I know Levi.

In the midst of a Liverpool transfer rumor, Mauricio Pochettino confirms Levi Colwill talks with Chelsea.
“I hope tomorrow will be a good day for them.
True, the fact that they are in Spain makes it challenging for me.
We send them our best wishes. We are anticipating their addition to the group. They probably will fly to America and join us there. “.

Liverpool is seeking any kind of motivation to sign Colwill to a contract. But Chelsea is determined to get the Cobham grad a new, long-term contract at Stamford Bridge in the near future.

In his first few days as head coach, Pochettino has already met a significant number of his new players at Cobham. When the Argentine was questioned about his goals at Stamford Bridge, he simply stated that winning is the reason he accepted the position.

“Winning is my goal,” he stated. You can’t just talk about doing a good job and playing well when you’re at a club like Chelsea. Obviously, we must prevail. “

Liverpool has received a request from Jurgen Klopp to sign an attacker who scored 10 goals last season.
Liverpool has been quite active thus far in the summer transfer window, and they have made a few acquisitions to strengthen their midfield unit.

The engine room still needs improvement, according to a report from Fichajes, and Jurgen Klopp has asked OGC Nice for permission to sign Khephren Thuram.

The Frenchman, 22, has been very impressive for the Ligue 1 team this past season and could end up being a great long-term addition for Liverpool.

Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and James Milner were recently released by the Reds and moved on for free. Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai have been brought in.

It is clear that they will need another midfielder this summer, but it is still unclear whether they will be able to sign Thuram.

The 22-year-old is well-regarded throughout Europe, and Nice will probably demand a premium for him.

According to the report, Nice is reportedly unwilling to negotiate a fair price because Liverpool believes the midfielder’s asking price is excessive.

Thuram is capable of playing both as a box-to-box midfielder and as a defensive midfielder. In all competitions last season, he contributed to two goals and eight assists, and he has the background to be successful in the Premier League as well.

He could improve with regular Premier League play, and working with a world-class coach like Klopp will only hasten his progress.

Liverpool will be eager to make up for last season’s failure to qualify for the Champions League. To return to the top four this summer, they must make the right signings.

Robbie Fowler, a legend of Liverpool, predicts that Manchester United will sign two players from the Premier League.

    More news…….

Robbie Fowler, a former player for Liverpool, has predicted that Manchester United will sign two Premier League players this summer.

Liverpool has received a request from Jurgen Klopp to sign an attacker who scored 10 goals last season.
United is looking to build on a promising first season under Erik ten Hag in which the Red Devils finished third and won the Carabao Cup.

Manchester United already paid £60 million to Chelsea for Mason Mount, but Ten Hag also wants a new goalkeeper and striker to come to Old Trafford.

The Manchester giants have identified Andre Onana as their top target to succeed departing David de Gea, but Fowler thinks they may look closer to home for a new No. 1.

The former England striker told the Daily Mirror, “I see Manchester United have been strongly linked with Inter’s Andre Onana, and that makes sense because his distribution is sensational and he played for Ten Hag at Ajax.”.

Jordan Pickford shouldn’t be disregarded, though. I am aware that he only recently signed a new contract, but in my opinion, this increases rather than decreases the likelihood that he will move this summer. In that contract, I almost certainly saw him insert a release clause.

Pickford, one of the best in the world and the acknowledged starting goalkeeper for one of the top international teams in the world, had just over a year left when he signed the new contract. He is skilled with the ball as well.

No doubt, United will be completely on top of their goalkeeper situation, whether it be Onana or Pickford, as they will have done their due diligence to see how Everton plans to handle their ongoing profit and sustainability issues. ’.

Manchester United must spend money on a new striker in addition to desperately needing to replace David De Gea in goal.

Rasmus Hojlund has already received a bid from the Red Devils, but Fowler says he “wouldn’t rule out” a sensational exchange for Harry Kane, the captain of Tottenham.

Although Kane is reportedly Ten Hag’s ideal target, United is said to have turned to other strikers instead because they anticipate the legendary England player to stay at Spurs.

Liverpool has received a request from Jurgen Klopp to sign an attacker who scored 10 goals last season.
A center forward will also arrive this summer, and I still wouldn’t rule out Harry Kane, said Fowler.
“I just don’t believe, either, that they will have to limit their spending this summer.”.

I think he’ll stay in the Premier League because he wants to break the all-time scoring record.

But since Spurs are so far away, he will have to relocate, and United seems like the most logical choice.

Given that Kane only has a year left on his contract, perhaps all the talk of having no money to spend is an attempt to keep Kane’s fee as low as possible. ’.

The 2023–24 season of Manchester United, who finished 14 points back of last year’s Premier League champions Man City, will begin against Wolves on August 14.

Although Liverpool has developed some talented players in recent years, it appears that Elijah Gift, a young forward, won’t get much of a chance to impress.

The adolescent has been hailed as one of Liverpool’s academy’s most promising prospects.

Gift signed a contract with Athletico Bilbao, however, and the Reds have lost him to La Liga.

Fabrizio Romano confirmed the news tonight on Twitter, explaining how Gift has committed to Bilbao through the year 2028. Although a medical has been completed, no information has been provided regarding any sort of fee Liverpool will receive.

Gift, who is listed as an “exciting player who can play on either flank” on Liverpool’s academy pages, is obviously hoping for more opportunities in Spain.

Gift just turned 17 a short while ago.
It will only become clear over the course of that lengthy contract he signed whether or not his decision to move to Spain was the right one.

    One of those things.

It’s never easy for big clubs to keep all of their best young players, and it appears that Gift found the prospect of a lucrative contract abroad to be too alluring.

Being offered a five year contract with a major La Liga club is a good deal, to be fair. This will likely be somewhat depressing for Liverpool.

Gift, however, will view it as an opportunity to join Bilbao’s first team and have an impact.

He is undoubtedly someone Liverpool supporters should keep an eye on over the coming few years.

Jürgen Klopp wants to replace Thiago for $64 million star, and a massive offer has already been submitted, according to Liverpool transfer news.

Jürgen Klopp wants to replace Thiago for $64 million, and a massive offer has already been submitted, according to Liverpool transfer news.
Liverpool transfer news: It’s been reported that Jürgen Klopp is keeping an eye out for a potential Thiago replacement, and that a huge offer has reportedly been made for Kylian Mbappé.

The summer transfer window has gotten off to an almost flawless start for Liverpool. Two significant components of the rebuild have already been completed before preseason, and the first group of players will be returning to the AXA Training Center on Saturday.

Liverpool has changed two-thirds of its midfield with the additions of Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai, and there may be more to come in that area as well as farther back in Jürgen Klopp’s defense.

Liverpool needed a significant summer transfer window to get back on track, and the Reds have made a great start by moving ahead of many rivals to sign two top players.

However, that won’t be enough to satisfy the Liverpool fan base’s hunger. Even two midfield additions of that caliber do not amount to a rebuild.

Szoboszlai was almost immediately forgotten in favor of whoever might enter the room after him once he had passed through the door and had his picture taken wearing his new number eight shirt.

    Roméo Lavia (Southampton)

Jürgen Klopp wants to replace Thiago for $64 million, and a massive offer has already been submitted, according to Liverpool transfer news.
The Telegraph reports that Liverpool is prepared to let Thiago Alcântara go this summer and might replace him with Southampton midfielder Roméo Lavia, who is valued at $64 million (£50 million/€58 million).

According to The Athletic, Thiago is courting interest from the Saudi Pro League and has already turned down an offer from a local club. But a departure from Liverpool cannot be completely ruled out because the Spaniard’s contract expires next summer.

Lavia, meanwhile, has emerged as Liverpool’s top choice for the position as the Reds consider their options in the market following the arrival of Szoboszlai earlier this week.

Lavia would be a good long-term option for the Reds, and while he wouldn’t be a direct substitute for Thiago, it would be a case of swapping one out and bringing one in. Due to the significantly better injury track record of the current midfielders, Liverpool may not necessarily need more players in this position.

    Kylian Mbappé (PSG)

Jürgen Klopp wants to replace Thiago for $64 million, and a massive offer has already been submitted, according to Liverpool transfer news.
Kylian Mbappé and Liverpool: a never-ending story. This time, journalist Edu Aguirre claimed in an interview with El Chiringuito TV that the Reds have made a staggering $217 million (£171 million/€200 million) offer for the Frenchman, who PSG has put up for sale.

The 24-year-old has made it clear that he has no intention of signing a contract extension with the Ligue 1 club, so PSG does not want to lose Mbappé for nothing next summer.

Real Madrid, though, is the destination that Mbappé is most likely to choose. This has been the situation for a while, as Liverpool is well aware of his talent and prowess—but also his price tag.

It is simply impossible for the Reds to spend that much money on a single player, according to Liverpool.com. Even though it would be less than Neymar’s transfer from Barcelona to PSG, it is simply not going to happen. Even without the transfer fee, Mbappé would be extremely expensive, and Liverpool will never approve of it.

Szoboszlai, a new Liverpool teammate, receives a single-word message from Konate.

Jurgen Klopp is getting ready to spend an additional £75 million to bring in a pair of players.
Dominik Szoboszlai’s official arrival at Liverpool was announced by the team on Sunday.
Ibrahima Konate has responded to the news.

As Liverpool confirmed the Hungarian international’s signing, the French international posted “welcome” on Instagram, with Szoboszlai voting against it. 8 shirt in what is already being hailed as one of the most exciting signings of the summer.

Jurgen Klopp is getting ready to spend an additional £75 million to bring in a pair of players.
In a move that has felt like a whirlwind for supporters, Szoboszlai joins Liverpool in a deal that is thought to be worth £60 million after the Reds last week activated the playmaker’s release clause from RB Leipzig. Additionally, the move has already been made official in typical Anfield fashion.

In fact, Szoboszlai joins Alexis Mac Allister as Liverpool’s second acquisition of the summer. The 22-year-old is in the perfect place to become a superstar on Merseyside because the winger is already familiar with players like Konate from his time at Leipzig.

Szoboszlai may be Liverpool’s best acquisition in a long time.

To say that Szoboszlai joining the Reds is one of the best deals of the summer would be an understatement. The true value of this transfer won’t be apparent for a few years, and there’s a good chance the Hungarian will be compared to players like Mohamed Salah or Virgil van Dijk.

Szoboszlai is one of Europe’s most gifted players, as is well known. The former RB Salzburg star now has all the tools necessary to break out under Jurgen Klopp as Liverpool enters a new era, and the winger is already inspiring his new teammates with excitement about what’s to come.

Paulo Dybala is in Mauricio Pochettino's ideal Chelsea starting lineup against Liverpool, with 6 transfers already official.
News regarding Chelsea transfers: Mauricio Pochettino is planning more changes, so when the Blues play Liverpool in August, they will look very different.

Chelsea is getting ready for some significant changes. In addition to losing 10 first-team players already in the last seven months, they have also had two permanent manager changes during that time.

There is a shift toward a younger side, though this is nothing new for the Todd Boehly-Clearlake Capital administration. There is a very real possibility that only three of the starting lineup from the match against Liverpool at home on the first day of the new season will be present this time around.

Due to the disastrous conclusion to the previous campaign, the majority of the players who were sold this window had already been exiled. Kalidou Koulibaly was hurt, Edouard Mendy was barely a thought, Mateo Kovacic was a replacement, and Joao Felix was the same.

Hakim Ziyech stayed on the sidelines while Christian Pulisic came off the bench. Mason Mount and N’Golo Kante were unable to attend due to injury, but Cesar Azpilicueta and Ruben Loftus-Cheek did. The squad that day was 25.9 years old on average. Even though it was below the season’s average overall, the group that Jurgen Klopp’s team might face off against is positively a generation older.

In just this transfer window, four players aged 30 or older have left the club; Jorginho moved to Arsenal in January; and the prospective new hires are all baby faces or much younger. Christopher Nkunku, who is 25 years old, may end up being the group’s most seasoned addition.

It’s a potentially risky move on the part of the team, but Mauricio Pochettino is a coach who excels in pressure situations and takes great pride in grooming eager, young players into a cohesive, spirited team.

    Kepa Arrizabalaga

Paulo Dybala is in Mauricio Pochettino's ideal Chelsea starting lineup against Liverpool, with 6 transfers already official.
There does not seem to be much activity in goal because Chelsea seems to be putting more emphasis on other positions. Kepa had his best individual season in 2022–2023; coupled with his ball-handling prowess, he makes for a solid choice for Pochettino.

Even though many will point to his lackluster performance over the course of his five years at SW6, the club has only once finished in the top four when he was a first-choice option. However, spending more on other players may well justify his place in the lineup.

    Reece James.

When in shape, he ranks among the best in the world at his position. Simply put, the Cobham graduate will be essential to any success given Pochettino’s reliance on full-backs as an attacking output. As the captain, he might also take on a new position.

    Wesley Fofana.

Fofana is another player who struggles with fitness, but when he performs well, he demonstrates why Chelsea lavished money on bringing him in last year. The Frenchman will undoubtedly play a key role in a back-three or back-four.

    Levi Colwill.

The left center-back position is one with fierce competition. Benoit Badiashile has shown great promise, but he is currently injured, and Colwill is regarded as one of the stars of the future. Thiago Silva is still playing. It makes perfect sense to trust him right away and resist the pressure of transfer because he is a left-footed academy graduate.

    Benjamin Chilwell.

Chilwell is the first choice and absolutely essential in this backline, injuries being a constant concern. The 26-year-old is a lock for every game when available because he is another who can play as an attacking full-back and wing-back.

    Mesa Caicedo.

Caicedo, the team’s first new acquisition, is still receiving attention from Chelsea as they continue their search for a technically sound anchor. He is unquestionably viewed as the most likely addition at this point and is the ideal choice to work alongside his new partner in a dominating duo.

    Enzo Fernández.

When Fernandez plays next to Caicedo, Chelsea receives a combination of energy and control both in and out of possession that they have recently lacked from their midfield pivots. They have the right mix of abilities to stand in front of the defense and move the ball forward simultaneously. For all managers at this time, he is simply impossible to drop.

    Christopher Nkunku

This is where it gets exciting, with new signing number two. Nkunku, one of the world’s most entertaining and productive players, can play anywhere along the front line and can also fill in as a central forward when necessary. He is on the right in this 4-2-3-1 formation so that we can add more young players.

He should ideally be behind the striker, but with a player like Nkunku, it might not matter.

    Paulo Dybala.

A player who Pochettino has long admired and who nearly joined his Tottenham team in 2019 is Dybala.
He is another Argentine to benefit from the new South American connection.
Football here is the phantom striker.
He is expected to arrive in London from Rome.

    Raheem Sterling

Mykhailo Mudryk, a tight player on the left, is possibly the rogue, maverick option, but Sterling is a player that Pochettino is sure to admire, and keeping some source of stability in a changing attack will help Chelsea in this situation.

    Nick Jackson.

Victor Osimhen, Harry Kane, or Rasmus Hojlund are three candidates who we would adore to see. We’ll give Nicolas Jackson the benefit of the doubt for the time being even though it could ultimately be Dusan Vlahovic or another outsider.
He has a lot of creative inspiration all around him.

The age average for the Dream Chelsea XI is 24.1

“Klopp wants him”- One major Liverpool “talks” update comes from a Sky Sports journalist: This is a “concrete” transfer pursuit.

Jürgen Klopp wants to replace Thiago for $64 million star, and a massive offer has already been submitted, according to Liverpool transfer news.
Despite reports claiming that Romeo Lavia must leave in order for Liverpool to pursue a third midfield signing, it appears that the Reds are still hopeful of bringing him in this summer.

This information is provided by a tweet from Florian Plettenberg of Sky Germany, who claims that although negotiations between the Merseysiders and the Belgian “are concrete and ongoing,” a deal has not yet been reached.

Given that the player is only 19 years old and there is no assurance of a near-immediate fit, the signing could prove to be a barrier too far for the club at £50m.

Having played a full season in the Premier League, it’s important to note that Lavia is not your typical young player.

We hardly have time to wait another year, given the well-known agreement Southampton currently has with Manchester City (a buyback clause worth £40 million that the Sky Blues can activate next summer).

There will be more urgent needs for the recruitment team to meet elsewhere in the squad next summer, leaving aside the obvious need to complete the work started by bringing Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister to the squad.

Although we can appreciate the club’s decision to pay a high price for the teenager, it would be completely illogical to balk at the price in order to save £10 million next summer – assuming the player doesn’t find a move to the Etihad more enticing by then.

Even though it would be less than Neymar’s transfer from Barcelona to PSG, it is simply not going to happen. Even without the transfer fee, Mbappé would be extremely expensive, and Liverpool will never approve of it.

The 19-year-old has been the subject of numerous reports in recent weeks, with a transfer from the Saints anticipated following their relegation to the Championship.

Russell Martin, the manager of Southampton, is essentially prepared to lose some of his key players, but they are not supposed to let Lavia leave without demanding a sizable fee.

According to Melissa Reddy of Sky Sports, the south coast club are “confident” of getting £50 million for a player who has only made 29 Premier League appearances.

According to reports, Thiago is the player who must leave the field for Liverpool before a third midfielder can be added.

A report claims that Liverpool and Romeo Lavia are currently in "concrete" discussions.
Now, Florian Plettenberg of Sky Germany reports that negotiations between the club and the players’ representatives are “concrete and ongoing,” emphasizing once more how well-suited Lavia is for Klopp.

At this point in their interest, Plettenberg continues, “understands there is no agreement in terms of [a] salary,” which is not unusual.

The upcoming weeks will be interesting because Lavia will be eager to return to the top flight and aware that he has plenty of suitors, which could put pressure on Southampton.

However, the Saints are in a strong position to negotiate for their young star because they are aware that Man City has a buyback option worth £40 million next summer.

When it comes to Liverpool and Lavia, the commotion isn’t going away any time soon, so it will be interesting to see whether and how the club responds in light of interest in adding a left-sided center-back to its roster this summer.

The rebuild has gotten off to a good start with Alexis MacAllister and Dominik Szoboszlai, but many believe the Reds must do more to ensure the success of this transfer window.

As Liverpool return for preseason practice, Darwin Nunez’s squad number is hinted at.

It has been predicted that Darwin Nunez will switch uniform numbers and take the number nine position for Liverpool this summer.

It has been predicted that Darwin Nunez will switch uniform numbers and take the number nine position for Liverpool this summer.

At the beginning of the summer, four of Liverpool’s most famous jersey numbers were up for grabs due to some high-profile Anfield departures.

The number seven, eight, and nine jerseys all became available after James Milner, Naby Keita, and Roberto Firmino all left the club after their contracts expired, leaving the number 10 shirt vacant after Sadio Mane’s decision to leave for pastures new at Bayern Munich last summer.

The quartet were all members of the Reds team that won every major award available to them, ending Liverpool’s 30-year wait to be crowned English champions, and were crowned world champions for the first time in the club’s history months after winning the 2019 Champions League. All four were essential to the success Jurgen Klopp’s team has experienced over the past five years.

Naturally, all four of those jersey numbers would have garnered the most attention in Anfield history even without the recent success. Such numbers are linked to people like Sir Kenny Dalglish, Steven Gerrard, Ian Rush, and John Barnes—some of the greatest Reds legends—and are adorned by them.

Milner, Keita, Firmino, and Mane all left the biggest shirts, or rather shoes, for their prospective successors to fill.

The new owners of three of Liverpool’s most renowned shirts have already been announced. While Luis Diaz traded his number 23 jersey for the illustrious number seven, new signings Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai now wear jerseys with the numbers 10 and 8, respectively.

However, as things stand, the Reds’ number nine jersey is still empty. During the summer, there were rumors that after Darwin Nunez’s first season at Anfield, he would inherit the number.

It has been predicted that Darwin Nunez will switch uniform numbers and take the number nine position for Liverpool this summer.
Since the digit nine appears in his social media usernames, it is fitting that the Uruguayan wore number nine for Benfica. He was at least given the opportunity to acquire “@darwin_n9” on Instagram, even though he had to settle for “@Darwinn99” on Twitter because “Darwinn9” already had a Twitter account, had nine followers when he joined in July 2013, and hadn’t tweeted in ten years. As you can see, the striker didn’t just misspell his own name; the second “n” actually stands for “number”!

Firmino already owned the number nine jersey when Nunez joined Liverpool last summer, and he had already given up his original number 11 jersey to Mohamed Salah five years prior. As a result, the Uruguayan chose the number 27 jersey. In the absence of his preferred jersey, he is not the first player to choose one with two digits that at least add up to nine.

However, the shirt with the number 9 is now available. Nunez may be looking at it, but he hasn’t yet adopted ownership of it like Diaz did.

On Monday for the first day of preseason practice, the Uruguayan was back at the AXA Training Center. His workout gear, which included the number 27, was worn while he worked out hard and participated in the “lactate test” on the field alongside Fabinho, Joe Gomez, and Joel Matip.

Nunez still has time to change his number if he so chooses. For instance, Gomez’s switch from number 12 to number 2 was only officially announced at the end of July of last year, the night before the Community Shield match against Man City.

Darwin Nunez, however, continues to be Liverpool’s number 27 at least for the time being.

Arsenal and Liverpool receive a £85m transfer boost with Kylian Mbappe's future in spotlight
Arsenal and Liverpool could boost their transfer hopes with Kylian Mbappe.

Arsenal and Liverpool could agree a surprise £85million deal for Federico Valverde or Aurelien Tchouameni, while Real Madrid are hoping to raise funds to buy Kylian Mbappe. According to reports in the Spanish media, Los Blancos are ready to sell one of the midfielders this summer.

Madrid are desperate to finally make the long-awaited transfer of French star Mbappé. They are aware that they could finally have a chance to assert themselves in the coming months as the striker is likely to leave Paris Saint-Germain.

Mbappe’s contract with PSG is just one year old and it is widely reported that he is interested in leaving the club once his deal expires. However, the Parisians don’t want to lose their best player for nothing and want to recoup at least some of the £165m they paid Monaco in 2017.

It has been claimed that Madrid are making a huge offer for Mbappe. However, they may have to sell one of their biggest stars which could mean a big boost for Arsenal and Liverpool.

According to Spanish journalist Juan Ignacio G-Ochoa, the La Liga giants will make Valverde and Tchouameni available for around £68-85m.

Arsenal and Liverpool receive a £85m transfer boost with Kylian Mbappe's future in spotlight
Arsenal and Liverpool have both been linked with the duo. Speaking to Radio Marca about Real’s deal, the journalist said: “They will make a very big investment for Kylian. They could sell Valverde or Tchouameni and bring in 80-100 million euros if an offer comes along.

While a £68-85m outlay for either club would eat up much of both clubs’ remaining budgets, signing either player would complete their respective rejuvenation. in the middle of the field.

Meanwhile, Mbappe has hinted at another move after claiming a career should be ‘selfish’ and stressing he was ‘never satisfied’. Speaking to L’Equipe, the 24-year-old said: “I push my own limits first. People don’t really like it when they say that, but a career is selfish, it’s the yours is what you leave behind.”

“Actually, I’m always dissatisfied, so I’m never impressed with what I do. It’s already the first key to understanding myself, because in everything I do, I tell myself that I can do it again and better.”

Kylian Mbappe three club location list confirmed – report
According to famous football agent Bruno Satin, the list of clubs that Kylian Mbappe could join in 2023 would be set at three.

Mbappe looked set to stay at Paris Saint-Germain for the 2023/24 season as he wanted to keep his current deal in the French capital.

However, the picture has changed significantly in recent days as the PSG hierarchy are angered by his refusal to activate a renewal clause until 2025.

Mbape’s current contract expires in 2024, with the extra year only a valid option if a deal is agreed before the end of July, with PSG boss Nasser Al-Khelaifi saying they would sell him if there is a risk of free transfer to the club. The year 2024 exists.

Real Madrid remain favorites to sign Mbappé but aim to hold out until 2024, with PSG likely to demand €200m for the French captain.

According to an interview with L’Equipe, Satin believes Real Madrid’s only rivals for Mbappe will come from the Premier League, via the mega-rich duo of Manchester City and Newcastle.
“It’s hard to put a price tag on Mbappe.

“A normal boy, he’s not a state club, won’t pay 200 million euros,” he said.

“In my opinion, only Man City, Newcastle and Real Madrid can afford his transfer fee. His real price is between 100 and 150 million euros, with bonuses which could amount to almost 200 million euros.

euros. “However, I only see Real Madrid as a real candidate. English clubs won’t get him, they can pay for his signature, but they don’t pay salaries like in Paris.”

Mbappe is currently on vacation in Cameroon and has confirmed that he is not focusing on anything other than his summer holidays.

Liverpool might make a massive Kylian Mbappe trade exchange offer of four players.
Liverpool are linked with a transfer of Kylian Mbappe and Express Sport are looking for who could go in the opposite direction.

Liverpool could offer a number of players in exchange for Kylian Mbappe. The Reds have reportedly made a huge offer to Paris Saint-Germain to sign the rebel’s contract

Mbappe’s contract with PSG expires in a year. The French club don’t want to lose any of the best players in the world on a free transfer.

Clubs across Europe are awaiting a potential deal for the French superstar. Spanish journalist Edu Aguirre told El Chiringuito TV earlier this week that Liverpool have made a bid worth around £170million.

The Reds could instead try to offer the players to sign Mbappe. Express Sport are eyeing four potential Anfield stars who could be used in a cashier player transfer.

    Thiago Alcantara

Liverpool are rebuilding their midfield and have already made two signings in this area. Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai have joined and Jurgen Klopp may not be done with it.

Thiago struggled with injuries last season and some think the Premier League may be too soon for him at the age of 32.

The Spaniard could do another job for PSG in the French league and gain Champions League winning experience.

    Fabinho

Fabinho had his worst season in a Liverpool shirt last season. Neither Mac Allister nor Szoboszlai are defensive midfielders, so he should be replaced when he leaves.

Klopp will have to make a decision if he believes Fabinho can return to the form he showed in his first four years at the club. If not, he can try to sell him to PSG

    Diogo Jota

Jota missed part of last season with injury and was only in the regular starter in the last phase of the season. He has found form in front of goal, with braces against Leeds, Nottingham Forest and Southampton.

However, Mbappé’s arrival would make it more difficult for him to earn regular playing time. At 26 he could be an attractive proposition for PSG.

    Darwin Nunez

Ok, maybe it’s too early to consider Darwin a Liverpool player. He certainly showed a taste of his potential in his first season in English football.

However, he fell out of favor in the second half of the campaign. There would be no place for him and Mbappe in the Liverpool squad and he could take a significant chunk of the transfer fee PSG would demand.

After a year and a half away from football, Kaide Gordon will start training

Liverpool might make a massive Kylian Mbappe trade exchange offer of four players. The 18-year-old winger has been sidelined since early 2022 due to a pelvic growth issue

When Liverpool bought Kaide Gordon from Derby in 2021, paying between £1million and £3million in training fees for the then 16-year-old winger, expectations were as high as you can get for a player with a senior cap to his credit.

When he became Liverpool’s youngest ever goalscorer in an FA Cup match against Shrewsbury that autumn, those expectations were raised, with speculation that Gordon could even be Mohamed Salah’s long-term successor at right-wing.

However, in the spring of 2022, Gordon appeared to be missing. There was unconfirmed speculation about various injuries at the time. Eventually, a pelvic growth issue was identified as the problem. The youngster hasn’t played since.

But according to The Athletic, Gordon will now be back in action. After a year and a half without football, the now 18-year-old is ready to participate in the pre-season. However, he will be on an individual schedule and will not tour with the first team.

So it could be some time before fans see Gordon play again, but if all goes to plan, it’s not impossible that he can enter pre-season a few minutes late, after which he can more easily get into action with youth teams.

as the season progresses. Hopefully, as this was a developmental issue rather than injury, Gordon can use the 2023/24 season to get back on track and, perhaps when the 2024 pre-season arrives, get back into the first team.

Liverpool make move for £40million 'midfield destroyer' now 'one to watch' at Anfield
Liverpool could be looking to sign a coveted £40million star next summer ahead of the upcoming season

Liverpool could make a move for Romeo Lavia ‘at the right price’ as the Southampton star would ‘prefer a move’ given interest from Anfield, journalist Ben Jacobs has told GIVEMESPORT.

After a disappointing season which saw the Reds fail to qualify for the Champions League, manager Jurgen Klopp is looking to further strengthen his squad.
Liverpool transfer news – Romeo Lavia

According to Sky Sports, Southampton are confident they can sell Lavia for £50m after Liverpool were just one of several clubs to show interest in the summer.

According to the report, the Merseyside giants, along with Arsenal and Chelsea, have held talks with the Belgium

international’srepresentatives since Saints were relegated to the Championship.

Liverpool are preparing to test Southampton’s resolve with an opening bid after overtaking Chelsea in the signing race.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano recently told GIVEMESPORT that the Reds could offer add-ons or players in exchange to lower Southampton’s asking price.

Although Manchester City have a £40m buy-back clause following the sale of Lavia last year, it cannot be activated until the summer of 2024.

What did Ben Jacobs say about Lavia?
Jacobs believes Lavia could be Liverpool’s latest signing as he brings qualities to fellow midfielders Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai, who have signed £35m and £60m deals respectively.

But the respected journalist thinks the Reds are looking to sign the 19-year-old for nearly £40m as they want to capitalize on Southampton’s relegation.

Liverpool make move for £40million 'midfield destroyer' now 'one to watch' at Anfield
Jacobs told GIVEMESPORT: “Along with Lavia he’s the absolute number six and a midfield destroyer so from a Liverpool perspective this could well be something to watch.”

“But the price has to be right and it won’t be £50m for Liverpool. They will be looking to use Manchester City’s £40m buyout clause next year as a more realistic solution.

“We are now waiting to see if and how quickly they will act. Liverpool only enter into these deals within their time frame and on their terms.

What future for Liverpool? Klopp’s next priority could be trying to bolster Liverpool’s defense as Chelsea youngster Levi Colwill is of interest, according to Football.London.

The West Londoners are keen to keep the England Under-21 international at Stamford Bridge which could make it difficult for the Reds to negotiate a transfer fee.

Brighton & Hove Albion could also complicate matters as they have already failed with a £30m bid for Colwill.

Meanwhile, there could be some departures from Liverpool as Thiago Alcantara has attracted plenty of suitors, including clubs competing in the high-spending Saudi Pro League.

Although the Reds have yet to receive any offers from any of the midfielder’s admirers, he turned down a lucrative contract offer.

Al-Ettifaq, who have appointed Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard as their boss, have also been aiming to bring in Anfield skipper Jordan Henderson.

Liverpool has repeated Sadio Mané transfer trick amid $61m gap as Manchester United danger clear

Liverpool has repeated Sadio Mané transfer trick amid $61m gap as Manchester United danger clear
Liverpool and Manchester United have started to move this summer, but transfer fees are far from the only cost factor for Jurgen Klopp and Erik ten Hag.

With every transfer taking place across the Premier League this summer, the actual amount of money is somewhat obscured by the transfer fees quoted.

Last summer, for example, Erling Haaland cost significantly more than the $81m (£64m/€75m) release clause put in place by Manchester City when wages and fees brokerage are taken into account.

Even small moves cost a lot more than transfer fees alone. Dominik Szoboszlai’s release clause has been set at $77m (£61m/€70m), but with his wages on a five-year contract, Liverpool would have spent significantly more.

Liverpool have often signed players on the verge of becoming superstars at the FSG. The plan is to recruit them at lower salaries and then slowly develop them as they progress.

Sadio Mané, for example, was hired in 2016 before receiving a pay rise as a reward in 2018. He had one year left on his contract when Liverpool sold him. Mohamed Salah is the one who received the third salary increase and contract extension.

Liverpool has repeated Sadio Mané transfer trick amid $61m gap as Manchester United danger clear
This summer, it was the same strategy. Liverpool have so far signed Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister who ECHO say will both earn around $150,000 a week, far less than the sums other clubs are willing to pay.

Mason Mount, for example, signed a contract this week with Manchester United worth more than $300,000 a week. On a five-year deal, that’s a difference of about $32 million between Mount and Szoboszlai.

Liverpool made an exception for the signing of Thiago Alcântara, but the former Bayern Munich player cost a relatively low transfer fee (less than half of what Mount Manchester United cost), so the overall cost of his signature was lower.

The rest of the transfers made were at relatively modest wages compared to what is offered elsewhere. Last year, Salah was in the same league as players like Jadon Sancho and Kai Havertz. Generally, players start lower and work their way up the ladder.

For Liverpool, it works in two ways. On the one hand, the pay structure is manageable and everyone earns the same amount, instead of one player being miles ahead of the others; On the other hand, everyone is encouraged to keep improving and earning trophies.

Even someone like Darwin Núñez, who could be a record signing for the club, was signed on a relatively low salary compared to other Premier League biggest deals, meaning that in any scenario Liverpool could allow large contracts avoided. At Manchester United, Mount and Sancho are not alone.

Raphaël Varane, Casemiro, Anthony Martial and Bruno Fernandes all have equally large sums: two of them are over 30 and Martial is redundant. Marcus Rashford, when he makes a new deal, he’s going to join that group in that group.

Liverpool have the best model. While FSG has invested heavily in salaries (according to The Mirror, Liverpool had the fourth-highest salary in the Premier League last year, behind Chelsea and both Manchester clubs), it is more evenly distributed and correlated to performances, meaning situations like Martial and Sancho – who has been a clear disappointment since his move from Borussia Dortmund to Old Trafford – are avoided.

The Mirror report says Liverpool paid $61m (£48m/€56m) less in wages than Manchester United last season, and with Naby Keita, James Milner and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain gone, even with new purchases, should balance the situation. Only when those new players have proven themselves will there be raises.

Mason Mount could be a big hit for Erik ten Hag, but it represents the latest big gamble Manchester United have taken, as Liverpool remain more risk averse.
