Dortmund signed Jude Bellingham to Real Madrid – including transfer fee
Jude Bellingham is officially leaving Dortmund for Real Madrid, with the Bundesliga club confirming his imminent transfer for an eight-figure fee.

In the early summer, it was widely expected that Liverpool would stage a coup by convincing Bellingham to leave for Anfield.

Instead, the finances involved in the deal have led to the club removing themselves from the equation and instead targeting more midfielders for a similar combined price.

While the Reds accept the arrival of Alexis Mac Allister for just 35 million pounds, Dortmund have confirmed the deal with Real.

In a statement released on Wednesday afternoon, Dortmund explained Bellingham were “close” to joining the Spanish giants for a fee of €103m (£88.5m).

Bellingham signs a six-year contract at the Bernabeu, with Madrid also agreeing to pay €30.9m (£26.5m) in various add-ons for that period.

The total compensation that could be paid to Dortmund would therefore be £115m.

The total compensation that could be paid to Dortmund would therefore be £115m.

While this remains below the price tags previously quoted by the English and German press, it could explain why Liverpool were no longer willing to pursue the teenager.

The salary agreed within Bellingham’s contract is not yet clear but will almost certainly reflect the nature of the move.

Along with Mac Allister, the Reds are expected to sign at least two other midfielders, including Khephren Thuram, Manu Kone, Romeo Lavia and Gabri Veiga.

Mason Mount was considered a prime target alongside Bellingham, but a move for the Chelsea midfielder could also be too expensive for Liverpool to justify.

According to a journalist, Liverpool has "talked" about making a signing that could be "really good business.".

According to journalist Ryan Taylor, Liverpool has spoken with the agents of Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Manu Kone in what might be a wise move for the Reds.

Given how well Kone has performed in the Bundesliga and how he has distinguished himself as one of the best young midfielders in Europe, it makes sense that Liverpool would be interested in signing him.

After a disappointing season that saw the Merseyside giants fall outside the top four, Jurgen Klopp obviously needs to make some adjustments, especially in the midfield.

This summer, James Milner, Naby Keita, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will all leave Liverpool for free transfers. Kone could be a better option than Fabinho, whose form dipped last year.

Taylor revealed that LFC and Kone’s representatives had spoken about the deal to Give Me Sport, and he believes that this is a great chance for the team to make a smart acquisition for a fair price.

“If he’s a player Jurgen Klopp wants to sign, then the answer would be yes, in my opinion,” said the author. There have been discussions with his delegates, according to Taylor.

“I think it would be really good business for Liverpool because he is probably available for a much lower price than someone like Mason Mount. ”.

Fábio Carvalho's position is made clear by Liverpool as Jörg Schmadtke may face a transfer conflict with his son
Media Digest: Liverpool have clarified their transfer stance on Fábio Carvalho and another player, while Jörg Schmadtke may need to make a deal with his son.

Liverpool will not sell Carvalho, but will listen to Clarkson’s proposals

Liverpool are unwilling to sell Fabio Carvalho this summer but will listen to offers for Leighton Clarkson, according to The Athletic.

Carvalho has been the subject of much speculation regarding his future, having endured a difficult first season at Anfield as playing time proved hard to come by during the second half of the season.

Liverpool have reportedly rejected a $13m offer from RB Leipzig to get the 20-year-old on a permanent deal (again through The Athletic), with the Reds only open to loan offers.

They will be hearing permanent offers for Clarkson as the 21-year-old spent the season on loan at Scottish Premiership club Aberdeen, scoring six goals and providing nine assists. For Schmadtke, a transfer fight with his son threatens

Jörg Schmadtke’s son has taken on a new role at Borussia Mönchengladbach which could have implications for one of Liverpool’s rumored transfer targets.

Of course, Schmadtke senior took up his new role as sporting director at Anfield last week and Nils Schmadtke is hot on his heels, taking on the same role at Monchengladbach (via ECHO).

And that could see the father-son duo work out a deal, with Liverpool linked with Mönchengladbach midfielder Manu Koné (via CaughtOffside).

Moreover, WAZ suggest Nils has Wolfsburg’s Micky van de Ven in mind as one of his top targets as the defender is also linked with Liverpool, potentially paving the way for a Schmadtke-only transfer battle.

Mac Allister selected Liverpool over Manchester United for a number of reasons, which makes Klopp laugh.

Mac Allister selected Liverpool over Manchester United for a number of reasons, which makes Klopp laugh.
It has emerged why Alexis Mac Allister rebuffed a late attempt to hijack Man Utd and insisted he join Liverpool.

The Argentine world champion, 24, is set to complete a move from Brighton to Liverpool. Personal terms have long since been agreed and Mac Allister faces a triple pay rise from £50,000-a-week to £150,000-a-week.

The player has passed the medical and Fabrizio Romano reported on Wednesday that Liverpool have activated the clause in Mac Allister’s contract.

Exactly how much Mac Allister would set Liverpool back has been the subject of much debate. Despite initial claims that the fee would be around £70m, Romano said the final amount is a remarkably modest £35m.

So Mac Allister to Liverpool has all the hallmarks of a masterful move. However, according to the Times, Klopp’s joy could have easily turned to despair.

Indeed, The Times claimed that Man Utd tried to hijack Liverpool’s move for Mac Allister, with Erik ten Hag holding multiple chats with the player.

In the end, United’s latest attempt to ruin Liverpool’s plans has not paid off and Mac Allister’s move to Merseyside will be officially confirmed shortly.

You would expect Man Utd to have a good chance of thwarting Liverpool’s plans. The fact that they will be playing in the Champions League next year and Liverpool aren’t is just the reason.

But it came to light through Athletic because Mac Allister chose Liverpool and rejected Man Utd.
Difference Klopp, plans Ten Hag key

They argue the main reason comes down to where Mac Allister would play for the two clubs chasing his signing.

Mac Allister selected Liverpool over Manchester United for a number of reasons, which makes Klopp laugh.
At United, Mac Allister was expected to play in the double pivot alongside Casemiro. At Liverpool, he will have more freedom to move forward on the left side of Klopp’s midfield three.

According to the report, Mac Allister’s father – former Argentina international, Carlos Mac Allister – had previously told Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi that Alexis would prefer to play later.

This is the role he thrives in with Argentina playing on the left as the de facto number 10.

The addition of Athletic is pretty much the same role Liverpool have in mind for Mac Allister, although a Klopp midfielder will always be tasked with following him.

Positional dilemma played a role in Mac Allister’s decision to pick Liverpool, while a second reason has been cited, albeit unconfirmed. Mac Allister’s favorite shirt number is 10 and that’s what he wore during his time at Brighton.

Liverpool have not given away the 10 shirt to any player since Sadio Mane’s departure, but according to the Liverpool Echo, the 10 shirt will be Mac Allister’s if he so desires.

Man Utd’s number 10 is Marcus Rashford, who won’t give up easily.
While the shirt number debate may be a diversion, it’s clear Liverpool’s plans for Mac Allister have proven more appealing than Man Utd’s.

Alexis Mac Allister explained why he thinks his move to Liverpool will allow him to increase his medal total and create many more career high points.

After an agreement was reached for his transfer from Brighton and Hove Albion for an undisclosed sum, the 24-year-old became the Reds’ first addition of the summer on Thursday.

After helping Argentina win the World Cup in Qatar at the end of 2022, it is the midfielder’s latest happy moment in a hectic year.

Making 35 appearances and scoring 10 goals in the Premier League, Mac Allister also assisted Brighton in securing European football for the first time in their history with a sixth-place finish.

He spoke exclusively to Liverpoolfc . com at the AXA Training Centre shortly after passing his medical and signing his long-term contract. You can watch the full interview in the LFCTV GO video below, or continue reading for the transcript.

Greetings from Liverpool FC, Alexis. How do you feel?

    I appreciate you.
Wonderfully wonderful. It’s a dream come true to be here, it’s amazing, and I can’t wait to start.

How happy are you that the transaction was completed so early in the summer?

Yes, it’s advantageous for the club and me. It’s good that everything has been completed because I wanted to play [from] the first day of preseason. Meeting my teammates is something I’m looking forward to.

Your family and friends back home must be giddy with excitement, so tell me about the last few days.

Yes, I’ve received a lot of messages. Even though I was active on Twitter and other social media, I kept to myself and was, of course, waiting for this moment.

With Brighton, Argentina at the World Cup, and now this move, the last year or so has been really good for you. Will it sink in eventually or has it already?

As you rightly point out, I had an incredible year thanks to the World Cup and the accomplishments we made with Brighton, but now it’s time to focus on Liverpool and make every effort to improve as a player and a person.

Why do you think that this move to Liverpool is the logical next step in your career?

due to the size of the club. Since I’ve been here, I’ve been able to see how big this club is, both in terms of the players we have and the staff as a whole. I’m thrilled and eager to play for this club.

You’ve participated in two opposing player games at Anfield. How excited are you for the time when you’ll be a Liverpool player and play there?

FULL Alexis Mac Allister interview with LFC: "This club will support me in achieving my goal of winning more trophies.".

I must admit that I have many happy memories of Anfield, but I’m hoping the future ones will be even better. I formerly played for Boca Juniors, and I believe Liverpool is the type of team that its supporters cheer on throughout the entire game. I can’t wait to perform for our supporters and demonstrate our abilities.

You’ve chosen No. 10 shirt, which has been worn in the past by some outstanding Liverpool players. Has that number any particular significance to you since you’ve worn it at some of your previous clubs?

    Not really, I’m afraid.
I am aware of how critical the No. Football is 10 yards. I had the option of selecting No. 8 as well, a significant number for this club due, of course, to [Steven] Gerrard. But I went with no. Because I frequently used it in Brighton, Argentina, and with the U.S. U23 team, I gave it a score of 10. I chose it because it’s a number I really like.

Has Jürgen Klopp given you the chance to speak since you signed, and did he play a significant role in your choice to do so?

I had the chance to speak with him, and he seems like a really nice guy. In addition to being one of the best managers in the world, it is clear that the players respect him. Working with him is something I’m really looking forward to.

You’ve already made significant career advancements. Do you believe that this team and club provide you with a platform to continue developing and getting better?

Yes, that is the plan. Since I won the World Cup, I have stated that I want to win more trophies, and I believe that this club will assist me in doing so. Winning trophies is necessary to be a part of a major club like this one. I therefore want that.

Do you want to briefly describe your experience playing a variety of midfield positions and roles for different teams as well as the skills you will bring to this team?

Since I’ve played in nearly every position, I believe the managers with whom I’ve worked are aware that I am capable of filling in wherever necessary. As a player, I strive to play as simply as possible while also assisting my teammates when they are attacking or defending. The most crucial factor is that, and I’ll do my best to bring my team-player skills to this club.

Are you hoping that your three and a half seasons in the Premier League will help you adjust quickly and contribute to the team right away?

    Yes, absolutely.
However, now that I am familiar with how everything operates, it was very difficult during my first year at Brighton due to the language and culture. Although it will take some time, once I’m accustomed to the club and everything else, I believe everything will be fine.

Over the course of your career with Liverpool, what goals do you have?

Well, the goal is to win medals. The particular ones are irrelevant. Of course, every player wants to win the Premier League and the Champions League, but I’ll work as hard as I can to support the team and try to take home every trophy.

What final message do you have for the Liverpool fans reading or watching this interview?

The most crucial factor is that I’m confident this team will sacrifice everything to win trophies and make them happy. It’s a pleasure to be here at this club, and I will give it my all every day. I hope they stick by me and the team, and I know they will.

    James makes a Mbappe reference.

This summer, Chelsea may attempt to make an outrageous move to sign Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe using two conceivable secret strategies.

Todd Boehly’s fantasy involves a footballing superstar moving to Chelsea amid growing rumors that Neymar will do so. After his relationship with a Blues player became public, another PSG attacker might instead join Chelsea in the upcoming transfer windows.

Reece James shared a photo of himself with Kylian Mbappe on Instagram with the caption, “*lightning bolt emoji* X *flexed arm emoji* @K.

Over the course of the weekend, the pair attended the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Barcelona, where Neymar, Ben Chilwell, and Mason Mount could also be seen on the starting grid.

N’Golo Kante’s agreement to join Saudi Arabian team Al Ittihad appears to be one of the first transfers of the Mauricio Pochettino era.

Pochettino’s Kante appeared to be close to agreeing to a new contract at Stamford Bridge, but when no deal could be reached, the Saudi Arabian champions pounced with an astounding offer. The midfielder will receive €100 million (£86 million) per season after agreeing to a two-year contract with an additional season’s option.

As Kante finished his Al Ittihad medical earlier this afternoon in London, according to Fabrizio Romano, the Blues will now likely have to play the upcoming season without their engine room operator. Although there are still a few last documents to be signed, the move has not yet been fully finalized.

    Kovacic admission of exit.

The fact that Mateo Kovacic will leave Chelsea this summer has been strongly hinted at. The Croatian has been a crucial part of the Blues’ midfield for the past five seasons, but he is just one of many players who could leave Stamford Bridge before the 2023–24 season.

Recently, Manchester City and Pep Guardiola started talking about signing Kovacic. Guardiola is also considering a mini-midfield rebuild. Although the process of moving to Etihad Stadium has not yet advanced significantly, Kovacic has made a significant admission about his future that points to a departure. Kovacic told Croatian news outlet Nacional, “I have one more year with Chelsea, this season was very bad.”.

Everything points to the fact that I will switch centers after five successful seasons, but anything can happen in football. I’m concentrating on the League of Nations and Croatia at the moment. “.

Transfer rumors from Liverpool as Reds'submit' $64 million proposal against new challenger in Nicol Barella's race
Liverpool transfer news: The Reds have made a sizable offer for a player they’ve wanted for a while, and the frequently linked Nicolo Barella is now desired by other teams as well.

The first signing Liverpool made this summer has already been finalized, but the next few months are expected to be extremely busy.

Just over a week after the Reds’ campaign came to an end, they welcomed their first new player into the fold when the club officially announced Alexis Mac Allister’s signing.

The Argentine’s fee has not been disclosed by either party, but Fabrizio Romano of some reports claims it could be as little as $44 million (£35 million/€41 million), which would make it the summer’s best deal.

However, with new sporting director Jörg Schmadtke having a lot of work to do after what has been a disappointing season on all fronts, Liverpool will need more players to join Mac Allister in making the move to Anfield.

With so many midfielders currently being linked to Liverpool, he has no shortage of names to choose from. Fans will recognize one of those right away, and another will be present for Saturday’s Champions League final.

The Real Madrid player Aurélien Tchouaméni.

Transfer rumors from Liverpool as Reds'submit' $64 million proposal against new challenger in Nicol Barella's race
According to reports in Spain, Liverpool has had a $64 million (£52 million/€60 million) offer for Aurélien Tchouaméni rejected.

The French international was obviously passed over by the Reds last summer because Tchouaméni opted to transfer from Monaco to Real Madrid. His first season, however, hasn’t quite gone as planned; he’s been in and out of Carlo Ancelotti’s team, which has sparked rumors that he might be moving on once more.

In an effort to complement Alexis Mac Allister’s arrival, Liverpool reportedly submitted its bid, according to Defensa Central. However, Real Madrid is adamant that Tchouaméni is not for sale and views him as “untouchable.”.

Even though Tchouaméni’s first season at the Bernabéu did not go exactly as he had hoped, Liverpool . com notes that another attempt to sign him always seemed unlikely. If the Reds actually made a bid, it was probably done to see if Real Madrid was interested in selling, so it’s more likely that they were just testing the waters.

Although the Spanish giant isn’t known for having patience, Tchouaméni has plenty of time on his side and, with Toni Kroos and Luka Modri both nearing the end of their respective careers, even if he’s having trouble making an impact right now, the 23-year-old will undoubtedly play a role in the future.

    Nicolo Barella (Inter Milan).

Transfer rumors from Liverpool as Reds'submit' $64 million proposal against new challenger in Nicol Barella's race
According to reports, Newcastle and Liverpool will compete to sign Nicol Barella this summer.

Given that Liverpool is looking for new midfielders and that Barella recently made an impression with Inter Milan and the Italian national team, he is expected to be a hot commodity. He might be the perfect addition to Jürgen Klopp’s squad.

However, the 26-year-old’s signing by the Reds would face competition. Newcastle is interested in signing Barella as well, according to Sportmediaset via FCInternews.com, and Inter may be considering selling him to help with their financial issues.

Barella would undoubtedly be a welcome addition for Liverpool, but if Inter finds itself in a situation where it must sell, that will only increase competition, and if there is one team you don’t want to be in a bidding war with, it’s Newcastle.

The Magpies now have access to practically unlimited funds, not to mention Champions League football to help them entice some bigger signings. Liverpool may have to rely on Klopp and the club’s allure to entice Barella to Merseyside.

Real Madrid considered him to be too pricey, but Liverpool were prepared to pay the player big wages to sign him.
Liverpool is prepared to surpass competing offers and give Gabri Veiga a sizable salary if he joins them.

In an effort to make up for last season’s mistakes, Veiga appears to be among the top candidates on Liverpool’s short list this summer. They’re not the only club with interest, though. The competition to sign the 20-year-old is about to begin, according to Spanish outlet Sport.

Veiga is allegedly closer than ever to the Premier League, with Newcastle United, Chelsea, and Liverpool rumored to be in the mix. The £34 million release clause for the Celta Vigo player is said to be easily met by all three teams.

While Real Madrid is rumored to be interested in Veiga as well, it cannot be said the same about them. Madrid, on the other hand, views the player’s value as being “excessive,” despite the English trio being willing to pay full price and pay him large salaries. In place of Veiga, Los Blancos reportedly plans to offer one or two players.

Real Madrid considered him to be too pricey, but Liverpool were prepared to pay the player big wages to sign him.
There are no such reservations from Liverpool, who reportedly ‘insisted’ on the Spaniard after passing up Jude Bellingham. The Reds are reported to be prepared to offer significantly higher wages than any other side as they face fierce competition for Veiga.

Veiga started to make his decision.

The release clause in Veiga’s contract is, at least in Premier League terms, quite reasonable. As a result, this battle will be decided in the small print of a contract offer.

Liverpool won’t be deterred by that because it is accustomed to competing with rival teams for players. The Reds are renowned for paying their employees well.

Furthermore, with Jurgen Klopp in charge, they have persuaded players of a higher caliber than Veiga to reject rivals and sign for them.

Real Madrid considered him to be too pricey, but Liverpool were prepared to pay the player big wages to sign him.
Without intending to offend Veiga, who appears to have the potential to become one of the continent’s rising stars. Yet, at the age of 20, he has not yet reached his full potential. He must choose the ideal location for himself in order to ensure that it is.

Perhaps it’s at Newcastle, who can offer Champions League football but don’t boast the caliber of potential teammates or management that other teams do.
Or maybe it’s at Chelsea, who appear to have no coherent plan of what to do with any of their players.

He might think he is at Real Madrid. For many Spanish athletes, it is the pinnacle and arguably the biggest club in the entire world. Veiga won’t be playing for Madrid because they are about to sign Bellingham to add to their glut of elite midfielders.

There is only one option left, Liverpool. The most sense is actually made by this. Gabri, everything is now sorted.

On the same day the team announced the signing of Alexis Mac Allister, Liverpool FC appears to be making more progress in what is already proving to be a hectic summer transfer window. Khéphren Thuram and Manu Koné, two French superstars, are reportedly in agreement on personal terms with the club, potentially adding a significant amount of reinforcements to the Reds’ roster, according to reports from Anfield Index.

Liverpool and Thuram and Kone come to an agreement.

Last week, 90min reported that Liverpool had begun talks with both players. Now, AI correspondent Dave Davis has revealed in an episode of the Transfer Pod podcast that both Thuram and Koné have agreed to personal terms. “Now, all that needs to happen is for LFC to come to an agreement with Nice for Thuram and with Mönchengladbach for Koné. He told host Trev Downey on Anfield Index, “The personal terms with both players are already agreed.

This is a crucial update for Liverpool fans who are itching for new talent.

Chief Anfield decision-makers are paying attention to Thuram, who is currently playing for Nice in French Ligue 1. The top spot goes to Thuram. Just take a look at the news reports, Trev,” Davis said.

Thuram, who is highly regarded for his power, tactical prowess, and instinct for scoring goals, could significantly improve Liverpool’s midfield. His arrival would not only strengthen Liverpool’s lineup but also represent their commitment to the upcoming season.

Borussia Mönchengladbach starlet Manu Koné is also rumored to be close to joining Liverpool. Davis made a suggestion, saying, “No one really knows, aside from Jurgen and his trusted lieutenants. The terms have been agreed upon, but look at the rumors.

Liverpool’s midfield could benefit from the flair, dexterity, and creativity of Koné. There is undoubtedly excitement surrounding the potential transfer of the young French prodigy to Anfield.

    Official Declarations are anticipated.

Although personal terms have been agreed upon, the transfers’ last stages have not been completed. Regarding when official confirmations would occur, Davis said, “We could be looking at any day now.”.

Fans of Liverpool can anticipate any confirmations of these transfers. Thuram and Koné could strengthen Liverpool’s midfield and herald an assertive transfer window for a team that is in desperate need of rejuvenating their midfield.

As Alexis Mac Allister completes his transfer, Liverpool sets its next five transfer goals

Although Brighton’s Alexis Mac Allister joined in the summer transfer window, there is still much to be done to revamp Jurgen Klopp’s midfield.

After bringing in Alexis Mac Allister as their first signing of the summer this week, Liverpool is planning to continue their search for midfield reinforcements this summer.

The World Cup winner underwent a medical on Wednesday after receiving permission from his current club Brighton to do so.
The Reds have reportedly agreed to pay £35 million for the Argentine midfielder.
As the Reds’ transfer plan takes shape, he is anticipated to be only the first arrival of the summer.

Last week, Jorg Schmadtke started working as the sporting director. The German was hired to help with Klopp’s transfer requests as he works to qualify for the Champions League again in the upcoming campaign. With James Milner, Naby Keita, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain all having left the club before their contracts were set to expire on June 30, midfield is thought to be the main area of focus for the summer transfer window.

As Alexis Mac Allister completes his transfer, Liverpool sets its next five transfer goals

Jude Bellingham, a midfielder for Borussia Dortmund, has officially signed with Real Madrid, costing the Reds the chance to sign him. The Athletic has revealed the targets who have come across the Reds’ radar and made a shortlist, so the Reds can now turn their focus to other targets.

Bellingham’s replacement, the 21-year-old Dutchman Ryan Gravenberch of Bayern Munich, has previously been suggested. Romeo Lavia, who was released by Southampton after being relegated, and Kephren Thuram, a 22-year-old French midfielder for Nice, have joined him.

In addition, Manu Kone of Borussia Monchengladbach and Gabri Veiga of Celta Vigo have both been mentioned as alternatives by the Reds, who are eager to reenergize the team with young talent. In the meantime, Franck Kessie’s agent dismissed rumors that he might join the team as “fake news,” even though a £30 million transfer from Barcelona had previously been proposed.

As Alexis Mac Allister completes his transfer, Liverpool sets its next five transfer goals
Liverpool’s ability to influence transfers is expected to change this summer as a result of their failure to make the Champions League and their constrained financial resources. As he discussed the Reds’ transfer plans earlier this year, Klopp hinted at a different strategy as the team moved forward into what they hoped would be a new era.

In April, the German remarked, “I’ve never understood why we talk so much about things that are theoretically out of reach.”. For instance, “We cannot sign six players this summer for £100 million each. I see now.

You must first acknowledge your capabilities before putting them to use. We then work with the amount of money we have available.
You need to complete that task.

“We do everything in our power to obtain the things we need and want. However, there are times when we must acknowledge that this or that is not possible for us, leave the situation, and take another action. ”.

After finalizing the acquisition of Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton, Liverpool is reportedly planning to hold new negotiations with the attorneys for Manu Kone and Khephren Thuram. The Argentine World Cup winner joined the Reds right away thanks to a clause in his contract at the Amex Stadium that allowed him to leave for a reduced £35 million fee.

In order to replace the departing James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and Naby Keita, additional midfield hires are now on the table, and it appears Jurgen Klopp is ready to complete his transfer shortlist.

In preparation for his midfield makeover at Anfield, Klopp has already initiated communication with the representatives of both players, who are now firmly in his plans.

Nils Schmadtke, the son of Borussia Monchengladbach’s new director and the new sporting director of Liverpool, has an interesting new job.

If Liverpool decides to enter into negotiations with their Bundesliga rivals, it might be advantageous to them.

Kone is admired by Chelsea as well and might be available for around £30 million.

Thuram is currently in high demand due to his contributions with Nice, which led to his recent inclusion in the Ligue 1 Team of the Year.

Despite being a mainstay for Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s team, the magnificent young talent only managed two goals and four assists in 35 matches in the French top division this season.

Alexis Mac Allister has been introduced by Liverpool as their first acquisition of the summer transfer window.
Thuram is a defensive midfielder who can also advance his team’s position on the field with his dribbling skills.

In addition to looking for a No. 8 to bolster their current options in the middle of the park, Liverpool is also looking for cover and competition for Fabinho.

Numerous other midfielders, including Moises Caicedo of Brighton, have also been connected to the Reds.

If Liverpool wants to compete for his services this summer, the Ecuadorian international will probably cost more than £80 million.

The 21-year-old’s interest in Arsenal and Chelsea is also strong, and both clubs made January bids for the box-to-box master.

As a backup for Trent Alexander-Arnold, Liverpool would prefer to sign a second central defender and perhaps a right-back.

Alexis Mac Allister will be joining Liverpool FC on a long-term contract from Brighton and Hove Albion for an undisclosed sum.

The 24-year-old has successfully completed a medical and accepted personal terms to become the Reds’ first signing of the summer transfer window.

Less than six months have passed since Mac Allister helped Argentina win the World Cup in Qatar last December, capping an extremely successful season with Brighton. He will be arriving at Anfield.

It feels incredible, the midfielder remarked to Liverpoolfc.com. It’s a dream come true to be here, it’s amazing, and I can’t wait to get going.

“It’s good that everything is finished because I wanted to be in [from] the very first day of preseason. Meeting my teammates is something I’m looking forward to.

The World Cup and what we accomplished with Brighton made it a fantastic year for me, but now it’s time to focus on Liverpool and strive to improve as a player and a person every day. ”.

Following a January 2019 switch from Argentinos Juniors, where he immediately returned on loan for six months before a second temporary stint with Boca Juniors, Mac Allister’s move to Anfield comes after three and a half successful seasons at Brighton.

In all, he made 112 appearances for the south coast club, 98 of which were in the Premier League. His Premier League debut occurred in March 2020. He did, after all, take on Liverpool six times.

Mac Allister added nine assists to his 20 goals overall for Brighton.

He has 16 international appearances for Argentina and has scored once, the first goal in a 2-0 victory over Poland during their successful World Cup run.

In La Albiceleste’s thrilling victory over France in the tournament’s championship match, he assisted Angel Di Maria on one of his six starts.

Mac Allister will represent Liverpool for the seventh time in Argentinian history.

“Since winning the World Cup, I’ve stated that I want to win more trophies, and I believe that this club will assist me in doing that — that’s the goal, and when you play for a major club like this one, you have to win trophies,” he continued. Thus, that is what I desire.

“Since I’ve been here, I can see how big this club is – the players we have, the staff, everyone. The prospect of playing for this club makes me extremely happy. ”.

Franck Kessie is not a player that Liverpool is interested in acquiring.

Liverpool have been linked with a transfer of Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie in recent weeks, but are not pursuing it.

Athletic’s James Pearce has claimed Liverpool have no interest in signing 26-year-old Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie this summer.

Kessie has been linked with a move from Barcelona this summer and the Spanish giants view him as a lasting asset.

It’s no secret that Barcelona are trying to raise money through sales in order to get their own signings.

It looks like they’re ready to sell the 26-year-old midfielder after signing him just a year ago.

The Blaugrana signed him for free and now hope to sell him for a substantial profit.

There is no doubt that Liverpool will need several reinforcements in midfield this summer.

They have reportedly finalized the deal to sign Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton & Hove Albion. But Kessie is clearly not on their list.

Franck Kessie is not a player that Liverpool is interested in acquiring.
Liverpool are now eyeing Borussia Mönchengladbach’s Manu Kone and OGC Nice’s Khephren Thuram. While Kessie has the physicality to thrive in English football, he may not be perfect for Liverpool.

Jürgen Klopp favors technically gifted midfielders with agility and flair.
Meanwhile, Kessie has also been linked with clubs such as Tottenham Hotspur.

And it remains to be seen whether the London club will be able to sign him in the coming weeks. The 26-year-old arrived at Barcelona with the expectation of establishing himself as a key player for the Spanish club.

The move clearly didn’t work for him and he struggled for regular playing time under Xavi Hernandez. The Ivory Coast international needs to leave to play regularly and a move to the Premier League would be ideal for him. It will be interesting to see where he ends up.

Meanwhile, Liverpool have lost the likes of James Milner, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade Chamberlain on a free transfer and must look to significantly strengthen their midfield unit before the window closes.
