Aurelien Tchoaumeni has been sought after by Liverpool for a while. He passed up the Reds to join Real Madrid last summer. But we still desire him.

The Merseysiders want to use the midfielder’s complicated situation at the Bernabeu to finally hire his services, claims Spanish source Nacional.

The Catalan news outlet reported that Klopp’s Liverpool have made the French international an offer of 55 million euros (£47 million).

The Les Bleus player’s development in Spain has been sluggish, so the Los Blancos will demand at least 80 million euros (£69 million) to offload him.

Madrid has a center of the park with a lot of quality and depth, as well as players of the highest caliber.

German international Toni Kroos has formally agreed to a one-year contract with the La Liga giants; Modric is also anticipated to remain with the club until next year; and Jude Bellingham has recently been added to further strengthen the department.

Tchouameni might play fewer minutes next season due to the presence of midfielders like Valverde, Camavinga, and Ceballos as well. During the 2022–23 season, he began 24 league games.

How can Liverpool even consider signing the 23-year-old for 55 million euros when Florentino Perez struck a deal worth 100 million euros to entice him away from AS Monaco last year?

The team that represented France in the World Cup final in Qatar included the former Ligue 1 star as a crucial player. In the semifinal matchup against England, he scored an outstanding long-range goal.

Should Liverpool accept Aurelien Tchouameni’s asking price of £69 million, in your opinion?

Liverpool agree personal deals for Celta Vigo star Gabri Veiga

Celta Vigo star Gabri Veiga could certainly be on his way to Liverpool as representatives from both sides agree on personal terms.

According to Corriere del Mezzogiorno, Veiga will earn £83,000 a week via Paisley Gates (h/t ECHO) in Liverpool.

Facing competition from Premier League rivals Chelsea and Serie A side Napoli, Liverpool will certainly have to move quickly to secure the 21-year-old Spaniard’s signature.

The report also suggests that Napoli, under new coach Rudi Garcia, are planning a last-ditch effort to lure Gabri Veiga to Italy.

Garcia, who is looking to bolster his midfield options, sees the youngster as an important addition to his squad. Liverpool must fend off the Italian giants and prove that their project and ambitions are superior to those of Napoli while aiming to secure the services of Veiga.

Veiga has caught the eye with his impressive performances for Celta Vigo. At just 21, he has already shown great maturity and potential, catching the eye of several top European clubs. Known for his technical ability, vision and composure on the ball, Veiga certainly possesses the qualities Liverpool value in midfield.

Veiga at the Reds? Following the departure of several midfield mainstays, Liverpool could certainly use reinforcements in that department. Having a youngster like Veiga on board could mean the Reds will also be future-proof down the road.

The Reds are looking to strengthen their midfield by providing more depth and competition in an area which is central to their style of play. We need a dynamic midfielder who can contribute both in defense and attack, and Veiga’s abilities seem to fit the bill perfectly.

Although it is difficult to see him starting games week after week, it is a feeling that we have been missing as a club in recent years to have a quality option on the bench and ready to be called up according to our needs.

With the potential signing of Veiga, Liverpool could certainly solve that problem as well and be in contention for the title next season and beyond.

Ideally, we should have him on board as soon as possible. His market value will definitely increase at the European Under-21 Championship if he is above average.
