  • Liverpool intend to reach out again to Bayern Munich star, with the giants ‘deeply concerned’

Liverpool intend to reach out again to Bayern Munich star, with the giants ‘deeply concerned’

Bayern Munich are said to be “seriously worried” about the possibility of losing Joshua Kimmich, as Liverpool plans to contact him again soon, marking their second attempt.

Kimmich, a key figure in Bayern’s lineup, is only outdone in seniority by Thomas Muller and Manuel Neuer. He is also one of the club’s top earners. Despite his importance to the team, with 10 goal contributions in 31 matches this season, Kimmich’s contract expires at the end of the season, raising the prospect of his departure.

According to Caught Offside, Liverpool initially approached the German midfielder in early January with the intention of securing him on a free transfer in the summer, and are planning to reach out once more “soon.” Reports suggest Kimmich is “leaning towards” a move to England, but no final decision has been made yet.

The report also indicates that Bayern are “seriously worried” about losing Kimmich, as they continue their efforts to convince him to sign a new contract.

    Kimmich will have alternative choices.

Kimmich is expected to have multiple options. Manchester City, another Premier League club, is reportedly interested in him, offering a potential easy move to the Citizens. Additionally, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are considered other possibilities.

For Real Madrid, Kimmich is seen as a potential replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold, whom they’ve aggressively pursued but might not secure. The Spanish club is reportedly frustrated with the slow pace of talks with Liverpool over the right-back and could shift their focus to Kimmich.

Should he move to Liverpool, Kimmich would likely strengthen their midfield, as he most often plays as a holding midfielder for Bayern. This is especially true if Alexander-Arnold remains at right-back. However, Kimmich has also played as a right-back throughout his career, including for Germany, and Real Madrid would consider using him in that position if they fail to land Alexander-Arnold.

Liverpool Update: Reds Pursuing Brahim Diaz

In other Liverpool transfer news, the club is reportedly prioritizing the signing of Brahim Diaz from Real Madrid in the summer window. Liverpool is also expected to move on from their pursuit of Martin Zubimendi and focus on Frenkie de Jong. With Barcelona’s contract talks with the Dutchman stalled, Liverpool might have a good chance of securing him.

Despite speculation, it is not believed that Alisson will leave Liverpool, even with the arrival of Giorgi Mamardashvili in the summer to compete for the No. 1 spot.

Liverpool Eyeing Bargain Champions League Winner as Potential Alexander-Arnold Replacement

Liverpool Eyeing Bargain Champions League Winner as Potential Alexander-Arnold Replacement

In a developing story from Anfield, the future of Trent Alexander-Arnold at Liverpool is increasingly uncertain. The Premier League powerhouse is reportedly eyeing Joshua Kimmich from Bayern Munich as a potential replacement for the talented right-back.

Alexander-Arnold, whose contract with Liverpool expires at the end of this season, has become a prime target for Real Madrid. The La Liga giants are confident about their chances of luring the 26-year-old to Spain in 2025. Real Madrid even attempted to secure his services on New Year’s Eve, but their approach was swiftly rebuffed by Liverpool. This response is fueling speculation that Alexander-Arnold may be seeking a new challenge, with many now anticipating his departure next summer.

Liverpool is expected to offer Alexander-Arnold a new deal in the coming weeks, and it is only after that offer is made that we will learn what direction the player intends to take regarding his future.

Should Alexander-Arnold leave, it would be a significant blow to Liverpool. The England international is widely regarded as one of the best right-backs of his generation, and finding a suitable replacement would be a near-impossible task.

Liverpool Set to Pursue Joshua Kimmich in Summer Transfer Move

In a developing story from Anfield

In preparation for this potential scenario, Liverpool has been keeping tabs on potential replacements, with Joshua Kimmich emerging as a key target. The 29-year-old is also reportedly admired by Manchester City and Barcelona, further highlighting his standing as one of Europe’s top midfielders.

Kimmich, like Alexander-Arnold, is set to be out of contract with Bayern Munich at the end of the season. However, talks about a potential renewal are ongoing. Should the two parties fail to reach an agreement, Liverpool is poised to make a move, according to Bayern Insider Christian Falk.

Kimmich would offer versatility to Liverpool’s squad, with the ability to step in at right-back, much like Alexander-Arnold, as well as play in the number six role—a position Liverpool pursued in the form of Martin Zubimendi last summer. With his vast experience, including a Champions League title among other major honors, Kimmich would undoubtedly be an excellent addition to Jurgen Klopp’s team.

The prospect of securing Kimmich in the summer of 2025 remains dependent on the outcome of his contract negotiations with Bayern, but if it materializes, it could prove to be a masterstroke for Liverpool.

  • The triple swoop is the perfect way for Liverpool manager Arne Slot to make a statement

The triple swoop is the perfect way for Liverpool manager Arne Slot to make a statement

    Jeremie Frimpong

Arne Slot, the manager of Liverpool, has begun training for the upcoming campaign.

The challenging task of succeeding Jurgen Klopp at Anfield has been placed on the Reds manager.

After losing several important players, the Merseyside club has made the decision to bolster their roster this summer.

Joel Matip, Thiago Alcantara, and Adrian left the team after their contracts expired, and the Reds will now need to bring in new players to take their places.

In order to sign an attacker, a midfielder, and a defence this summer, Slot plans to conduct a triple raid on the Bundesliga.

According to German news agency Bild, via the Liverpool Echo, Liverpool is reportedly considering bids for midfielder Joshua Kimmich of Bayern Munich, right-back Jeremie Frimpong of Bayer Leverkusen, and forward Donyell Malen of Borussia Dortmund.

    Jeremie Frimpong

For their teams in the 2023–24 campaign, all three of these players turned in excellent performances.

Under Xabi Alonso’s direction, Frimpong was an integral member of the Bayer Leverkusen club that won the championship.

Kimmich has long been a vital component of the Bayern Munich lineup, and his versatility as a right back and midfield player is well-known.

Malen was once signed by Arsenal, and a return to the Premier League would give him a legitimate opportunity to establish himself on the English football scene.

Liverpool needs to make some signings during the summer transfer window.

The Reds need to add players to those positions, thus it would make sense to make a move for all three of those individuals.

Since Kimmich is nearing the end of his Allianz Arena deal, signing him would be simpler than it would be for the other two players because Bayern Munich is eager to cash in on him.

While Manchester United and Chelsea, two of the Reds’ Premier League rivals, have been aggressively recruiting this summer, the team has yet not added a new player.

It’s time to add new players to the team in order to set them up for success with the new manager and the present roster with just one month left in the Premier League season to begin.

    Rio Ngumoha

Liverpool plans to waive their traditional wage structure in order to sign Rio Ngumoha, a teenage player from Chelsea.

After Ngumoha and Chelsea’s contract negotiations broke down, Liverpool is nearing a deal to sign the highly-regarded young player from their Premier League opponents.

The 15-year-old’s West London contract ends this summer, and the Reds are willing to pay above the academy level in order to recruit him.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool and the England youth international are close to reaching an agreement, which would be a major win for the Merseysiders’ academy system.

Ngumoha, who was born in 2008, participated in 2023–24 as a member of the Chelsea first team after training with them earlier this year. He rose to become Chelsea’s under-21 team’s third-youngest player of the century.

The winger, who has been compared to Jamal Musiala, scored in the championship game to win the Premier League U16 Nationals “Player of the Tournament” award in October 2023. In April, he also scored in the u-17 Premier League Cup Final with a fantastic solo performance

Liverpool is ‘working’ on three acquisitions to bolster Arne Slot’s starting lineup.

    Bologna

Since the arrival of new head coach Arne Slot, Liverpool has been silent in the transfer market. It seems, however, that Anfield’s recruitment chiefs are ratcheting up their efforts.

As Arne Slot tries to lead Anfield into a new era, Liverpool’s transfer chiefs are apparently working on three new players to strengthen his starting XI.

After nine incredible years as the Reds’ manager, Jurgen Klopp left, leaving the Dutchman in charge on Merseyside. It’s also likely that the former head coach of Feyenoord won’t be the only new hire this summer, as Football Insider reports that the hiring team is already pursuing a number of possible candidates.

According to their report, the Reds have had a quieter start to the transfer market and could add three players to their roster for the upcoming season. Liverpool has not been under any noticeable pressure to make any notable moves in the market as a result of the Premier League’s June 30 Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR) deadline.

That does not imply, however, that the rumours that connected the Merseysiders to a slew of elite players have slowed down recently. Even though many of the best players in the world are presently competing for their countries in the Copa America and Euro 2024 competitions, it seems that some progress has been made in terms of identifying possible targets.

Bologna center-back Riccardo Calafiori, 22, is one of the players rumoured to have attracted the attention of Anfield dealmakers. The Athletic reports that Calafiori caught their attention while playing for his country in Germany this summer. Liverpool’s interest in Lille defender Leny Yoro is another connection that has seen strength in the last month, according to the Liverpool ECHO.

    Bologna

Mundo Deportivo has previously hinted that the Reds are among the teams interested in acquiring Joshua Kimmich, the star midfielder for Bayern Munich. Meanwhile, Liverpool is just one of several possible destinations for Manuel Ugarte, the agent of Paris Saint-Germain defensive midfielder, this summer, according to Portuguese publication O Jogo.

But the Reds’ opportunity to recruit Anthony Gordon of Newcastle United was arguably the most concrete connection of the summer thus far. The rumours of an impending move to Anfield reportedly turned the England winger’s head, and the negotiations failed because the Magpies wanted Jarrell Quansah to leave in any such deal, according to Mirror Football and The Telegraph.

Although it’s yet unclear who players will sign a contract to join Liverpool this summer, it appears that incoming head coach Slot is eager to collaborate with sporting director Richard Hughes on transfer issues going forward. He declared: “When it comes to transfers, Richard and I will collaborate, but there will be a large backstage team involved as well.

“I believe that this is how I have always worked, and it is the best method for me to work because I can make the most of my time working with the team, with the remaining time likely going towards family time and a discussion with Richard on how we can improve the team. However, we already have a very capable group.”

Not Yoro: Liverpool is prepared to begin talks with a second “world-class” Real Madrid target

Joshua Kimmich is leading the race for a transfer to Liverpool, with a suggested Anthony Gordon swap deal.

Joshua Kimmich, a midfielder for Bayern Munich, may still be moving this summer.

According to people close to CaughtOffside, Manchester United and Liverpool are prepared to start talks with Bayern Munich about the German international’s transfer. The English duo could have to expedite their plans, though, because Manchester City is still linked to them and might enter the contest themselves soon.

With Juventus dominating the race to recruit Atalanta midfielder Teun Koopmeiners, the former star of RB Leipzig, the Merseysiders have been forced to give the former player priority.

Real Madrid is purportedly considering the 29-year-old during the current transfer window.

Kimmich transfer: Is it possible for Munich to sign a new contract?

It is understood by those familiar with the German scenario that Kimmich will not likely receive a new contract offer.

The Bayern player, who footballfancast.com’s Karl-Heinz Rummenigge called “world-class,” presently makes €20 million [£16.9 million] a year at the Allianz Arena.

The German star’s current contract is slated to end in the summer of 2025, and the Bavarian giants are willing to consider proposals of €30 million [£25.4 million].

What benefits might Kimmich offer Manchester United and Liverpool?

Crucially for Liverpool, the adaptable player, who can also play right back, would fill a holding midfielder void in the absence of a top-tier player at number six.

Wataru Endo, a 2023 signing who formerly played in the same position as Alexis Mac Allister, has been called upon by the Reds. However, it remains to be seen if the Merseysiders decide to move in the summer market for such an experienced operator.

Similarly, if Casemiro leaves this summer, Manchester United might want a top-tier defensive midfield player.

Liverpool star “ready to seal summer exit” as he “rejects contract offer.”

    Adrian

One of Arne Slot’s players received a fresh contract offer from Liverpool this summer. However, he had already expressed a wish to relocate to a place where he will play.

At the end of the season, Adrian, the 37-year-old Spaniard goalkeeper for Liverpool, was offered a fresh one-year contract extension; however, he turned it down in favour of going back home.

The local publication ABC Sevilla claims that Adrian is close to signing a contract to join La Liga team Real Betis, whom Liverpool will play in a preseason friendly in a few weeks. Adrian joined Liverpool on a free transfer from West Ham United in 2019 and has since made 26 appearances for the club.

Adrian had already stated in mid-May (via Muchodeporte) that he intended to go back to Spain. “I would like to return to La Liga after 11 seasons in the Premier League,” he stated. “A cycle would come to an end. I’m still prepared to compete, though. I may be 37, but I feel great.

“Goalkeepers, you understand that daily training provides you with the intensity necessary to compete, provided you take good care of yourself and haven’t had any severe injuries recently. It’s true that I would like to return to La Liga, and I believe I have a lot of time left. It must be a pleasant, fascinating project.

“Neither have I had a seat with Liverpool yet. Although it’s true that we will be keeping a close eye on La Liga, I don’t rule out the possibility of us having a chat.”

Following several changes in that area throughout the summer, Fabian Otte has been named as the new goalkeeping coach at Liverpool. Along with Jurgen Klopp, John Achterberg and Jack Robinson have gone on, and Caoimhin Kelleher, the backup choice, has acknowledged that he might have to go too in order to play regularly.

According to Liverpool.com, Adrian would need to leave Liverpool in order to play before he retires. For him and his family, it might make sense to move back to Spain. Arne Slot was never going to play Adrian for the Reds next season, but practically, the team needs enough bodies in the goalkeeping department to be trusted. He would just stay for the training exercises.

Richard Hughes, the sporting director, is leading Liverpool’s hunt for manager Arne Slot as they continue to try to sign a player during the summer transfer window.

Liverpool hasn’t finished a summer transfer yet because several players are currently concentrating on the Copa America and Euro 2024.

With his feet firmly planted under the desk, Arne Slot is hard at work getting ready for the upcoming 2024–2025 season. The Dutchman may have to wait a while for the Reds to achieve his own transfer goals.

As recently highlighted by Mirror Football, Liverpool’s summer campaign is anticipated to be one of continuity rather than revolution, even with the new leadership. Richard Hughes, the sporting director, is still open to the idea of signing players, though, if a deal comes up or as a replacement for current players.

Here are the most recent Liverpool-related rumours, covering both potential ins and outs.

    Kimmich ‘in a favourable position’.

Kimmich ‘in pole position’Joshua Kimmich, a top player for Germany who is now competing for his nation at Euro 2024, is rumoured to be leaving Bayern Munich this summer. Liverpool is one of the teams connected to the player. The most recent sources state that if Liverpool wants him, they will have to face off against Manchester City.

Teun Koopmeiners of Atalanta had piqued Liverpool’s interest, but according to TuttoJuve, Kimmich is now the front-runner for a transfer. Although Kimmich is a more offensive player and Koopmeiners was Slot’s previous captain at AZ Alkmaar, Kimmich is a better fit.

With just a year remaining on his Bayern deal, Kimmich is apparently unwilling to sign a new deal, despite reports that Real Madrid and Barcelona are also interested. His estimated net worth is £40 million. The £60 million Dani Olmo of RB Leipzig is another player that City is interested in.

    Bologna desires to trade Calafiori.

    Calafiori

Bologna centre back Riccardo Calafiori is well-liked by Liverpool, and according to Mirror Football, the Italian team would rather sell to the Premier League if they lose him this summer.

Calafiori, who played for Italy at Euro 2024 until their elimination against Switzerland on Saturday, is also attracting interest from Arsenal and Juventus. He will now need to make a decision regarding his future. Although he can play left back as well, his versatility at centre back is what makes him appealing.

The sporting director of Liverpool, Hughes, is also well-known for being a fan of the 22-year-old, whom he once followed while he was employed at Bournemouth. Because his old club Basel is entitled to 40% of any sale exceeding £5 million, the fee is probably in the region of £40 million or more.

    Reds float Gordon swap

Joshua Kimmich is leading the race for a transfer to Liverpool, with a suggested Anthony Gordon swap deal.

Liverpool may try to persuade Newcastle to sell Anthony Gordon by including Caoimhin Kelleher in a trade.

According to TEAMtalk, Liverpool is willing to offer Kelleher and £50 million in order to persuade Newcastle to let go of their best player. In an attempt to allay their concerns about profit and sustainability rules, the Magpies have sold Elliot Anderson to Nottingham Forest and Yankuba Minteh to Brighton, turning down Chelsea’s request for Alexander Isak.

Liverpool estimates the Kelleher’s worth between £25 and £35 million, thus the overall cost of the offer would be between £75 and £85 million. Gordon used to play for Everton, so if he moves to Merseyside, there might be opposition.

The Euro 2024 midfielder is viewed by Liverpool as a player who can balance the midfield.

Joshua Kimmich, 29, of Bayern Munich, is reportedly a target for Liverpool to join this summer.

Arsenal, Manchester City, and Barcelona will compete with Liverpool to sign him. Tutto Juve claims that the midfield player is amenable to leaving the German powerhouses.

Kimmich’s exit from the Merseyside club appears likely, as new manager Arne Slot is hoping to recruit a midfield player during the transfer season.

Following Jurgen Klopp’s exit, the Reds will support their new manager in their efforts to bolster the roster and make additions.

Liverpool is prepared to sign a midfield player this summer, even though they made midfield additions last summer in response to the departures of Fabinho and Jordan Henderson.

Despite the fact that Wataru Endo, Dominik Szoboszlai, Ryan Gravenberch, Alexis Mac Allister, and other recent arrivals have given the Reds more midfield depth, they still believe that they need a midfield player who can play at the base, directly in front of the defence.

The Bayern Munich star Kimmich is seen by the Reds as the guy who can provide them stability in the middle of the park.

Kimmich would also provide the team more versatility because he can play right back as well.

A star from Bayern may be the perfect addition to Liverpool.

As a result, Liverpool would have more choices for the manager and the team to rotate between Trent Alexander-Arnold and Kimmich at full-back and midfield, respectively.

Premier League rivals Arsenal and Manchester City are vying for Kimmich’s signature, and former Bayern manager Hansi Flick is eager to work with Kimmich again at Camp Nou.

After Klopp leaves, the Reds would gain the experience they need and a winning attitude by signing someone like Kimmich.

He should be available in a cheap contract because he will be a free agent come summertime.

Liverpool’s Joe Gomez position as Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany considers a transfer raid

    Joe Gomez

Vincent Kompany wants Joe Gomez to join Bayern Munich. Liverpool is understood to have a defined transfer strategy ahead of the window’s opening on Saturday.

Liverpool plans to take a tough position on Joe Gomez this summer. It comes amid reports of transfer interest from Bayern Munich, who are now led by Vincent Kompany.

Gomez had a good final season under Jurgen Klopp, playing the most minutes in a single season since joining Virgil van Dijk in the title-winning defence. However, he had to be a jack of all trades, featuring on the defence line and even in midfield. His adaptability has earned him a call-up to the England squad for the Euros.

It might also be beneficial to incoming manager Arne Slot; however, with Gomez still not first choice at any position, interest from Bayern Munich will force a decision.

Liverpool is prepared to make that decision for everyone else. According to the Mirror, the club considers Gomez one of its most valued players and is planning to deliver a ‘strong hands-off warning’.

    Joe Gomez

It is expected that he will be a key player under Slot. Whether this means he’s expected to compete for a starting spot remains to be seen, but Liverpool probably believes it will be hard to obtain comparable high-level defensive depth for the money Kompany and Bayern are willing to spend.

Barring a spectacular U-turn by Liverpool, Bayern Munich will have to search elsewhere. It is apparently interested in Bayer Leverkusen’s Jonathan Tah.

Liverpool shares Kompany’s admiration for Chelsea’s Levi Colwill. But both are likely to be disappointed, as the Blues are once again unwilling to move the defender.

According to Liverpool.com: Liverpool has taken a totally logical attitude. A huge offer could put it to the test, but unless something amazing comes up, it makes no sense to deprive Slot of such a valuable squad member.

The other variable is Gomez’s personal position. He was likely content with the minutes he received last season, but he may still be looking for a starting role someplace, especially if he prefers to play center-back in the future.

Hopefully, he will be satisfied to continue playing a key part for Liverpool. It has just been made quite obvious how highly the club regards him, and with any luck, it is reasonable to expect Gomez to play a significant role under Slot.

What Kimmich stated regarding Bayern future

Live transfer news for Liverpool Kimmich update and Kvaratskhelia "interest" in the midst of Real Madrid "contact"

Earlier this year, Joshua Kimmich talked about his future with Bayern Munich in an interview with the Spanish publication AS. The remarks were made prior to the Champions League semifinal match between the German powerhouses and Real Madrid.

I’d like to speak with Bayern. And I won’t go out and talk to the media about it after I’ve done that. My attention is solely on the two matches with Real Madrid.”

Concerning the connections to Barcelona, Kimmich elaborated:

I’m not thinking about this right now. As I mentioned earlier, I’ll talk to Bayern first. Of course, Real Madrid and Barcelona are tremendous teams with incredible histories.

Kimmich said that it would be significant to know the identity of the team’s new head coach. Since then, Vincent Kompany has been appointed.

I am aware that you do not sign a contract with the coach when you sign it. You and the club sign it. The club, not only the coach, is what matters most to me. Naturally, though, it’s also critical to understand the coach’s perception of both the squad and yourself. The selection of the coach is a concern for other club members.

    Kimmich ready for Bayern talks

According to BILD, Joshua Kimmich wishes to speak with Bayern Munich following the European Championship. According to reports, neither party is inclined to extend the Germany international’s contract before it runs out in the summer of next year.

It is suggested that a transfer fee of between £25 million and £34 million might be sufficient to sign the player within the current transfer window. But Kimmich’s enormous salary—roughly £320,000—might be a concern for Liverpool. Kimmich is reportedly considering signing with only five teams, including the Reds, Arsenal, Barcelona, Manchester City, and Real Madrid.

    Napoli’s Kvaratskhelia transfer position

Amidst transfer rumours surrounding the Georgia international, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has confirmed that the team would extend a new contract offer to Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. The disclosure was made by the movie producer yesterday at Antonio Conte’s first press conference.

There are no issues with Kvara because we have a contract; we will present him with a suggestion for a change, and in any event, I don’t see any issues with him. Then there may be others who get in touch with the players without the club’s permission.

The latter comment seems to be in reference to Paris Saint-Germain, who, according to numerous reports in Italy, have extended a lucrative contract offer to Kvaratskhelia this summer.

    Kvaratskhelia talks about future

A decision regarding Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s future will not be made until after the European Championship.

Following his announcement that the player will remain in Naples this summer, Antonio Conte, the new head coach of Napoli, made these remarks. Asked about the remarks after Georgia’s 2-0 win over Portugal in Gelsenkirchen, Kvaratskhelia said:

Conte is one of the best managers, and I appreciate him. I adore and admire Napoli as well. My next move will be decided after the Euros. I’m now focused on the match against Spain.

As the summer transfer window opens, Liverpool’s aims are clear: to improve their squad and compete at the top levels. Despite winning the League Cup last season, Liverpool’s record in the Premier League and other competitions suggests there is always potential for growth. With Champions League action on the horizon for next season, the team’s attention will undoubtedly be on strengthening their squad with top-tier players.

    Liverpool’s Interest in Joshua Kimmich.

According to Sky Sports Germany, Liverpool have set their sights on Joshua Kimmich of Bayern Munich. The 29-year-old midfielder, who has played a key role at Bayern, has been granted permission to leave the club this summer. This news puts Liverpool in a good position to sign a player of high quality and versatility who can play both as a right back and a defensive midfielder.

“Joshua Kimmich, with Liverpool planning on continuing their push for the Bayern Munich man,” Sky Sports Germany stated, noting the Reds’ continuous interest. The esteemed manager, Julian Nagelsmann, has previously praised Kimmich as a ‘world-class’ player, emphasising the potential impact he may have at Anfield.

    Kimmich Potential Impact

Bringing Kimmich to Liverpool might be revolutionary. His versatility in playing in various midfield roles and even as a defender allows manager Arne Slot to adjust formations and ideas based on the needs of each encounter. His arrival would not only improve Liverpool’s midfield options, but would also bolster the team’s strategic depth overall.

The most recent information on Liverpool’s possible summer transfer for Teun Koopmeiners comes from Fabrizio Romano. Atalanta’s midfield player may depart.

A few connections have been made between Liverpool and Koopmeiners, primarily from outside of Italy. It’s true that the connection makes sense.

Prior to Koopmeiners’ transfer from AZ Alkmaar to Atalanta, it is said that Liverpool had interest in the player years ago. But because of his extraordinary play this season, he is anticipated to depart Bergamo this summer.

Teun Koopmeiners: Although there are increasing hints that he is linked to Liverpool, I’m still informed that Juventus has him as a top summer target.

Juventus is addressing it,” Romano said to Caughoffside. “Let’s see what transpires at Liverpool, but from what I’ve heard, nothing solid has happened thus far.

According to sources, the 29-year-old is among Bayern’s highest earners, bringing in a gross annual salary of €19.5 million. A new contract has not yet been agreed upon.

There have been rumours that Bayern is prepared to let the player leave if they get a good offer during the next transfer window. Kimmich has been linked to a move to Spanish powerhouse Barcelona in addition to Liverpool.

However, Sport reports that Kimmich rejected Barca’s initial pay offer because he thought it fell well short of his expectations.

It’s no secret that Barca is having financial difficulties, particularly in light of the €30 million salary that Robert Lewandowski will cost and the severe financial fair play regulations that LaLiga has to follow.

The two sides may or may not be able to come to a solution, and if not, the ball may wind up in Liverpool’s court.
