Jurgen Klopp has already delivered the ideal message to guide Trent Alexander-Arnold on what to do.

For Trent Alexander-Arnold, the decision he makes in 2025 will not

For Trent Alexander-Arnold, the decision he makes in 2025 will not only shape the course of his career but potentially impact his life as well. As he waits for updates on a new contract at Liverpool, speculation continues to swirl.

According to the Spanish publication MARCA, Alexander-Arnold has already decided and plans to join Real Madrid. While Arne Slot has consistently avoided commenting on the matter in public, and the player himself has preferred to keep negotiations private, an announcement seems inevitable soon.

By early 2025, Alexander-Arnold will have to make his choice. In just three days, he will be able to speak freely with foreign clubs (with Real Madrid being the likely destination) regarding a potential free transfer. If no changes occur by the season’s end, his current contract will expire.

Despite Liverpool fans likely expecting one of their own to stay at a club arguably at its peak, joining Real Madrid has its advantages. The lifestyle and climate in Spain are more appealing, and the prospect of experiencing a new challenge could be enticing.

Jamie Carragher recently pointed out that Alexander-Arnold’s departure from Liverpool on a free transfer would be perceived differently compared to Mohamed Salah or Virgil van Dijk. While all three share the same contract situation, neither Salah nor van Dijk are local academy products.

For Trent Alexander-Arnold, the decision he makes in 2025 will not

There’s an expectation surrounding Alexander-Arnold to either remain at Liverpool or, if he leaves, ensure the club receives compensation to reinvest in a replacement. Whether fair or not, his departure would be framed differently from that of his peers, given his status as a local talent and a key player for Liverpool.

Steve McManaman’s move to Real Madrid on a free transfer, where he won two Champions League titles in four years, left a lasting impact on his reputation among Liverpool supporters. His departure was never fully forgiven, and Alexander-Arnold would have to consider if he’s willing to face similar scrutiny.

Jurgen Klopp once said, “Stay here [at Liverpool] and they will end up building a statue in your honor. Go somewhere else — to Barcelona, to Bayern Munich, to Real Madrid — and you will be just another player. Here you can be something more,” as he addressed Philippe Coutinho in 2017. This sentiment applies equally to Alexander-Arnold, with the choice between the allure of Real Madrid and the unique legacy he could build at Liverpool.

Had Arne Slot’s appointment not gone smoothly or if Manchester City were set to dominate yet again, leaving Liverpool might have been easier to justify. However, with the current state of affairs, Alexander-Arnold has just as much chance of winning another Champions League at Liverpool as he would at the Bernabeu.

While trophies matter, Alexander-Arnold has frequently emphasized his desire to leave a “legacy” and how he wants to be remembered in football. His decision regarding his future will significantly impact how he is viewed by the Liverpool supporters—arguably the most important group in his career. Klopp’s words to Coutinho seem particularly relevant now, especially since his departure didn’t go as he envisioned. If Alexander-Arnold leaves, as a local hero, his legacy on Merseyside would undoubtedly change.

Klopp given the challenge of blocking £66m Liverpool transfer, with his charisma potentially backfiring

    Jurgen Klopp might prevent Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp might prevent Liverpool from completing the £66m signing of a talented attacker by guiding the player to RB Leipzig, a report suggests.

Klopp has frequently hinted that his managerial career would end after leaving Liverpool last summer. Rather than continuing the pressures of top-tier coaching, Klopp agreed to take on the role of global head of football at Red Bull.

He will begin this position on January 1, and according to reports from Germany, one of his first actions could disrupt a major Liverpool transfer.

Liverpool is reportedly interested in signing PSG forward Xavi Simons, who can play both as a left-winger and as an attacking midfielder. He is seen as a potential upgrade over Dominik Szoboszlai in the latter position.

Simons is currently midway through his second loan at RB Leipzig, but his future will be decided next summer when the loan period ends.

In a recent article from The Athletic, Liverpool was mentioned as one of the “most probable destinations” for Simons.

“Arsenal, Barcelona, Bayern, Liverpool, and Real Madrid are seen as the most probable destinations, while Manchester United showed some interest during the previous market,” David Ornstein reported.

“But it also depends on the player and [PSG manager] Luis Enrique. If the coach wants to keep him and adapts his approach slightly – or if Simons returns and accepts not always starting – then he could stay.

“PSG view Simons as a golden opportunity either way; they either retain a top talent or trade him at a huge profit. Unless something goes badly wrong, his anticipated transfer fee is €80million [£66.6m] minimum.”

However, according to an update from BILD’s Christian Falk, Leipzig plans to use Klopp as their “secret weapon” to help keep Simons at the club.

Leipzig’s financial limitations mean they cannot meet PSG’s asking price, making Klopp’s influence critical.

“Leipzig are interested in keeping Xavi Simons permanently,” Falk told Caught Offside.

“PSG want about €80m [£66.6m] for his services, which is too high for Leipzig. I heard they were thinking about €50m [£41.3m] up front and then a further €30m [£24.7m] to PSG if they sell Simons to another club.”

Explaining Klopp’s role, Falk added, “Interestingly for Leipzig, they now have a secret weapon in the form of former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, who they could potentially rely upon.

“He’s starting his new role with Red Bull on January 1, and they hope he could be the man to convince Simons to stay. This will be Klopp’s first challenge in his new role.”

Latest Liverpool news – Nunez, Zubimendi, Alexander-Arnold

In other news, Arne Slot has backed Darwin Nunez to flourish despite his recent poor form and transfer speculation linking him to Atletico Madrid.

Sports Illustrated reported that both Nunez and Kostas Tsimikas are on Atletico Madrid’s radar. Diego Simeone’s team is also said to have had scouts watching Liverpool’s match against Girona in Spain last week.

Meanwhile, The Times revealed that Martin Zubimendi is now “open” to leaving Real Sociedad in 2025.

This change of heart has drawn attention from long-time suitors Liverpool, who TEAMtalk understands are preparing to make a second attempt to sign the talented midfielder in the upcoming winter transfer window.

Lastly, Trent Alexander-Arnold has hinted strongly that he intends to stay at Liverpool, following comments about playing under Arne Slot.

Jurgen Klopp’s next position revealed as details of his Red Bull contract surface for the former Liverpool manager

The latest news from Liverpool reveals that former manager Jurgen Klopp has joined the Red Bull group as the global head of football. Reports from Germany indicate that Klopp has the option to exit his contract with Red Bull if he receives a solid offer. This marks his first position since departing from Anfield in the summer.

In this role, Klopp will collaborate with clubs such as Red Bull Leipzig in Germany, Red Bull Salzburg in Austria, and Leeds United, the latter of which saw a minority takeover by Red Bull earlier this year.

Sky Germany reports that Klopp has entered into a long-term contract with the multi-club ownership group, with an annual salary estimated between €10-12 million (£8.4-£10 million). It is noted that while a coaching role is not “currently an option” for Klopp, the position of coach for the German national team may be a possibility in the future.

Klopp reportedly has an agreement with Red Bull allowing him to leave his contract if an appealing job offer arises. However, contrary to some reports, there is allegedly no formal exit clause in the deal, though a mutual verbal agreement exists.

In a post on his Instagram after accepting the new position, Klopp elaborated on his choice to refrain from coaching for now. “A few months ago I said I don’t see myself on the sidelines anymore and that is still the case, but I still love football and I still love working and Red Bull gives me the perfect platform for that,” he stated.

“I want to share my experience that I collected over the years and we all know there are more successful managers out there. In my career, I’ve fought for promotion, I’ve fought against relegation. I’ve fought for titles and I’ve fought for trophies.

“Sometimes we failed, sometimes we succeeded, and dealing with that is not easy but it is possible. Then, I want to learn again because when you’re in the job and you have to play every three days you barely have time for that.”

Klopp will officially begin his new role in January. After leaving Liverpool at the end of last season, he will have spent nearly eight months away from the game before returning with Red Bull.

As agreed upon, Liverpool “makes decision” regarding free agent

    Oumar Solet

Liverpool have chosen not to pursue Oumar Solet, who has agreed to join Serie A club Udinese in the January transfer window. The 24-year-old had been considered as a potential replacement for Joel Matip but is now set to move to Udinese after concluding his contract with Red Bull Salzburg this summer.

Matip’s departure at the end of last season sparked speculation that Arne Slot might look to bring in a new center-back to Anfield. Matip, who joined Liverpool on a free transfer from Schalke in 2016, ended his tenure at the club due to a series of injuries that impacted his final seasons.

Despite these challenges, he was instrumental during Jurgen Klopp’s successful era, contributing to the team’s triumphs in the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, and Carabao Cup.

Liverpool may have aimed to achieve similar success with Solet, who demonstrated his capabilities at Salzburg, winning two consecutive Austrian Bundesliga and Austrian Cup doubles during his four-year stint.

However, the *Mirror* reports that Solet is close to finalizing his move to Udinese, with both parties having reached an agreement and the Serie A club completing the final steps of the deal.

In Saturday’s match against Wolves, Ibrahima Konate scored first but later made a critical error that allowed the visitors to equalize. Slot expressed to Match of the Day, “The goal we conceded was definitely avoidable and it was unnecessary.

It came at a bad time because we had total control over the game. By conceding this way, they came back into the game and the good thing for us is we immediately scored to make it 2-1. With only one goal making the difference, it makes it a difficult game until the end.”

Jurgen Klopp's decision to join Red Bull

Jurgen Klopp’s decision to join Red Bull surprised Liverpool fans, but the renowned German manager has been preparing for this next chapter for years.

Jurgen Klopp has a new role.

Five months after bidding an emotional farewell to Anfield, the cherished former Liverpool manager has accepted the position of head of global soccer at Red Bull. This move has sparked controversy due to Red Bull’s ongoing unpopularity in German football. Although the announcement was made on Wednesday, the agreement has been in place longer than initially believed.

Meanwhile, Liverpool forward Diogo Jota has taken advantage of the international break to pursue interests beyond football by collaborating with his former club Porto. Additionally, right-back Conor Bradley has discussed his position under Arne Slot.

Klopp accepted Red Bull job while still at Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp’s transition to Red Bull has been in the works for two years. The former Liverpool manager revealed on Wednesday that he will start his new role in January. It has now come to light that he agreed to this move in 2022 for a meaningful reason.

According to the German outlet TZ, Klopp attended a private meeting in Salzburg with Red Bull co-founder Dietrich Mateschitz, who was terminally ill at the time. Mateschitz personally persuaded Klopp to join Red Bull, but he passed away just a few weeks later at the age of 78.

Liverpool forward Diogo Jota has formed a partnership with his former club Porto in the eSports arena. The 27-year-old played for Porto on loan during the 2016-17 season before moving to Wolves.

Now, he has aligned his eSports team, Luna, with Porto. Luna competes in popular games like EA Sports FC, Dota 2, and Rocket League.

    Bradley refutes Liverpool speculation

Jurgen Klopp's decision to join Red Bull

Conor Bradley believes there isn’t much distinction between his responsibilities at Liverpool and for Northern Ireland, despite playing a more attacking role for his national team. Northern Ireland manager Michael O’Neil counts on the 21-year-old as his sole Premier League player, assigning him the task of advancing the play.

When asked before their match against Belarus if he feels additional pressure while representing his country, Bradley stated, “It’s different, but it’s similar as well. When I play for Liverpool, I’m almost playing as a right winger sometimes because we usually have most of the possession in games, so I’m quite high up, trying to create chances for the strikers.”

Liverpool players show Arne Slot the utmost respect by avoiding Manchester United and Arsenal mistake

Arne Slot has made a promising start as Liverpool’s manager, with Reds legend John Barnes attributing some of this success to Jurgen Klopp’s legacy.

Barnes asserts that Slot has taken over an outstanding squad, which has maintained its momentum. The Dutchman succeeded Klopp earlier this year, following his successful nine-year tenure during which he led Liverpool to their first Premier League title in the 2019/20 season, alongside two League Cups, an FA Cup, and a Champions League trophy.

Slot’s early successes include a 2-0 win to start the new campaign, a victory over Brentford, and a commanding 3-0 defeat of Manchester United at Old Trafford. However, he faced his first loss against Nottingham Forest after the international break.

This setback was quickly followed by a strong 3-1 win over AC Milan in the European Cup and a 3-0 triumph against Bournemouth. Barnes believes that Klopp’s signings continue to play a vital role in Slot’s achievements, as the players are not easing up after their former manager’s exit.

Unlike Manchester United and Arsenal, which struggled after the departures of Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger, Liverpool seems to be thriving post-Klopp. Barnes shared his thoughts on Liverpool’s future during a podcast with Gary Lineker, stating: “Where do you see this current Liverpool team? Obviously it’s post-Klopp… he’s made a really good start, hasn’t he?”

Barnes noted, “Not only has he made a good start… just going around the plane with all the analysts… they’re now having a new way of playing. Playing around Ryan Gravenberch as a number six… a different type of player but more attacking, more comfortable on the ball.”

He emphasized that the players have embraced this new style, which includes a slower build-up but quick transitions. “We’ve seen when Fergie left, when Wenger left, big clubs that don’t do as well because the players relax – the big man has gone. Liverpool players haven’t done that.”

Barnes highlighted the character of Klopp’s signings, stating they recognize the importance of respecting the club and its traditions. The shift in style has particularly benefited players like Harvey Elliott and Curtis Jones, who thrive in a more ball-oriented midfield, contrasting with Klopp’s previous setup that included stronger defensive midfielders. “They’re better in possession, but they still have that transition going forward so it’s happy days.”

Jurgen Klopp has primarily utilized a 4-3-3 formation at Liverpool, typically featuring two box-to-box midfielders and a play-breaker. In contrast, Arne Slot favors a 4-2-3-1 setup that includes a number ten.

He has started using Dominik Szoboszlai in this position early in the current season, but Liverpool lacks a natural creative central attacking midfielder.

As a result, the club is reportedly looking to acquire a new number ten, with Bayer Leverkusen’s Florian Wirtz becoming a significant target. Liverpool showed interest in the German player, even making a £77.7m bid, but Wirtz opted to remain with the Bundesliga champions.

According to Christian Falk in The Daily Briefing, Wirtz has now indicated to Leverkusen that he intends to leave at the end of the season to advance his career. Leverkusen is open to his departure but demands a hefty £125.8m (€150m) fee, as he has three years remaining on his contract. Falk noted:

“He [Wirtz] has a contract now until 2027, so Leverkusen want a big fee for his services – €150m (£125.8m). That’s a lot and obviously not every club can afford to pay this.”

Falk also mentioned that Real Madrid is currently the frontrunner for Wirtz, with Bayern Munich and Manchester City also interested. He commented:

“But, of course, he also fits other clubs like Manchester City. Liverpool are also interested and we talked about Manchester United not being in the race at the moment.”

Wirtz is a versatile player, excelling as a natural No.10 but also capable of playing on the wing, contributing significantly to Leverkusen’s Bundesliga title win last season. Last week, the 21-year-old made his Champions League debut against Feyenoord, scoring twice in a 4-0 victory. Should Liverpool consider a substantial investment to sign Wirtz?

Liverpool set to finalize deal for £50 milliom star

Mohamed Salah has been Liverpool’s key right-winger for several years, but he is now in the final year of his contract and past his prime.

Consequently, Liverpool risks losing him for free next year. Should they fail to retain him, Arne Slot will need to find a replacement for the Egyptian in 2025.

Tony Cascarino, speaking with a fan on talkSPORT, suggested that Liverpool might look to sign Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo as a potential successor to Salah. Cascarino highlighted several reasons why Mbeumo would be a fitting choice. He commented:

“I remember saying to you about if Mo Salah left, Mbeumo would be the one I would have gone after. He’s got so much about him, he’s got goals, he’s got durability. He’s just a nuisance every time he plays.”

Brentford initially sought £50m for Mbeumo, but with his contract nearing its final year next summer, they might reduce their asking price to over £40m if he does not agree to an extension in the upcoming months.

Mbeumo, who turned 25 last month, primarily plays as a right-winger but can also operate as a center-forward. He demonstrated his abilities in the Premier League last season with nine goals and six assists in 22 starts, and he has already netted three goals in four appearances this season. Given that his prime years are ahead of him, he could be a valuable acquisition for Liverpool.

Unveiled: The Pre-Match RITUAL Arne Slot Has ELIMINATED Since Taking Over from Jurgen Klopp as Liverpool Manager

Arne Slot has been Liverpool’s head coach for 100 days and has already made a notable impression at Anfield.

With three matches played, the former Feyenoord manager has achieved three victories, with his team scoring seven goals and maintaining three clean sheets—remarkable statistics, though they only tell part of the story.

Slot has faced challenges such as the delayed return of international players from summer tournaments and missing out on his primary transfer target. Additionally, he has had to step into Jurgen Klopp’s significant shoes.

Despite these hurdles, Slot has made a strong start.

    Slot Implements Pre-Match Change

With Slot putting his own mark on the team, there has been a subtle yet significant alteration in Liverpool’s pre-match routine, which was enacted before the Reds’ first home game against Brentford.

As reported by The Athletic, the matchday squad now assembles on the morning of the match rather than staying overnight at The Titanic Hotel, a practice that was standard under Klopp.

Under Klopp, the belief was that having players stay together in the same city-center hotel helped them concentrate before the game by reducing distractions and fostering team unity.

The Titanic had become a crucial part of Liverpool’s pre-match preparations, creating a calm environment before key matches and reinforcing the team’s close-knit culture.

This season, however, has seen a slight departure from that tradition. By meeting on matchday morning, Slot’s approach introduces a more flexible strategy to matchday preparation.

This shift likely represents a different philosophy on balancing relaxation with mental sharpness and indicates a change in management style, emphasizing players’ personal routines and granting them more autonomy the night before a game. So far, the new approach appears to be effective.

Manchester City, Liverpool, and Arsenal are all monitoring their transfer targets for the upcoming year.

These Premier League giants made significant investments in their squads this summer and are expected to compete fiercely for the title this season.

Off the pitch, they are also set to battle each other for Premier League talent.

Brentford’s Bryan Mbuemo has caught the attention of top English clubs due to his consistent performances.

According to HITC, Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal, and Newcastle United are all interested in acquiring the Brentford forward.

His impressive performances have been somewhat overshadowed by Ivan Toney’s presence at the club.

Nevertheless, Mbuemo and Yoane Wissa stepped up to lead the team’s attack during Toney’s suspension due to his betting ban.

The report suggests that Mbuemo could become one of the most sought-after players next year, given the interest from numerous clubs.

He meets the criteria that clubs are currently prioritizing, performing well in the data and analytics that many recruitment teams use today.

Brentford will aim to secure the player with a long-term contract.

Man City, Liverpool, and Arsenal are all interested in Mbuemo.

The Cameroon international excels both as a scorer and a creator, and his versatility in attacking roles makes him a valuable asset for any team that signs him.

He has begun the new season strongly, scoring three goals in three games so far, including a brace in Brentford’s 3-1 victory over Southampton last week.

Ryan Gravenberch discusses Liverpool's progress under Arne Slot following challenges under Jurgen Klopp

Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch has impressed in the early part of the season and is relishing his time under new manager Arne Slot, who has introduced several changes.

Gravenberch, who joined Liverpool from Bayern Munich for £34 million on deadline day last summer, had a challenging start under Jurgen Klopp. Despite his potential, he struggled to make an impact during Klopp’s final year, partly due to stiff competition in midfield.

He made 26 Premier League appearances in the 2023/24 season, but only 12 were starts, with new signings Alexis Mac Allister, Wataru Endo, and Dominik Szoboszlai often being preferred. However, Gravenberch has thrived under Slot, starting all three Premier League matches so far and making a notable impact.

His standout performance in the 3-0 victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford drew praise, and Gravenberch is flourishing under Slot’s management. Reflecting on his recent success, he told Dutch reporters, “There were sometimes matches in which I had only touched the ball once after five or six minutes. Then you don’t get into your game. Now I get the ball more, then you get more comfortable. He just saw this. In the end it worked out well,” adding, “Now it’s going well, so, yes, everyone is praising him.”

Gravenberch did not feature for the Netherlands in Euro 2024 and has only made three international appearances since his breakthrough in 2021. With Marten de Roon and Georginio Wijnaldum absent and Frenkie de Jong injured, Gravenberch could be a key player for the Netherlands in their upcoming matches against Bosnia and Herzegovina and Germany.

To continue his rise, Gravenberch must convince Dutch coach Ronald Koeman, who recently commented, “I am glad you added that last part. I have always seen the potential in him. But I believed he lacked focus; this is something that he had to improve and now it seems that he finally realises what is asked of him.”

Slot has given Gravenberch a more flexible role, and the player explained, “I had a little chat with him and he said I have to focus on the No 6 and No 8 positions. Now I play at No 6. In the past I played it as well so I know what I have to do. I’ve enjoyed playing there.” He added, “It’s a little bit of a different system than we played last season, but I think everyone has adapted to it. Now we have to build it further and further. I think at the end we can be a really dominant team.”

Arne Slot, the new head coach of Liverpool, has been “on top” of star striker Mohamed Salah and the adjustments the Dutchman is hoping to see made by his team.

We have witnessed the difference in approach between Arne Slot and Jürgen Klopp in Liverpool’s first Premier League games; Slot’s revamped Reds are more intent on holding possession and controlling the opposition both with and without the ball.

The number of Liverpool’s top players who have disclosed how exacting Slot has been since the former Feyenoord manager took over is telling, and Salah is no exception.

Regarding the shift in approach, Salah stated, “Now we are trying to control the ball all the time,” in an extensive interview with Men in Blazers that was posted on the Liverpool website. Not that it wasn’t previously, but it wasn’t really the main focus since, under Jürgen [Klopp], we frequently attempted to counterattack or counterpress in an effort to win the ball as high as we could. We definitely still do it now, but you also have more time to hold onto the ball and simply attempt to move it around when you have it. So, increase your ball possession.

Arne Slot, the new head coach of Liverpool, has been "on top" of star striker Mohamed Salah and the adjustments the Dutchman is hoping

Salah went on, “The senior group in particular has adjusted fairly well, I believe, to the new system, even if we have only had one manager for the past seven or eight years. We are still adjusting to our new manager. So far, everything is going smoothly, so maybe we can keep it up and bring home some major awards.

    “I want you to adapt”

Salah discussed the mental adjustments he had to make in response to Slot’s demands, saying: “Yes, definitely, because naturally when you keep doing things for seven or eight years, you’re subconsciously programmed to do it that way.” Therefore, the new manager was aware of those things, especially during the preseason, and he told me, “Okay, I know you did that for many years, but our pressing is quite different so I want you to adapt to that as well.” I’m attempting to adjust as a result. We’re finding that it works well for everyone so far, so hopefully we continue in that path.

Salah has shown no signs of weakness as he has scored two goals and provided an assist in the Reds’ first two Premier League games.

Regarding Arne Slot's Liverpool debut, Jurgen Klopp says, "A lot of things changed"

When Arne Slot succeeded Jurgen Klopp

When Arne Slot succeeded Jurgen Klopp as Liverpool’s head coach, he had big shoes to fill, but Klopp has only been supportive of the new manager.

Forever, Liverpool supporters will value Klopp’s perspective as a now-iconic character in the club’s history.

The German, however, has showered Slot with praise while acknowledging that he has faced some difficult pre-season challenges.

He is anxious not to place undue pressure on his replacement. Klopp stated, “We spoke one or two times [at the start],” in an interview with ESPN.

We may have texted a couple more times, but I can’t tell him anything that he couldn’t find out for himself.

He worked so hard, and I wanted to start by saying that I am a human being and that this is great feedback.

“I am aware of this as the trip is extremely demanding during a year that includes the Euros and Copa (America). The team is not together when they arrive, and there is only one week until the opening matchday and other events.

“So, I believe he was in a comparable circumstance, but was it precisely the same one? Without a doubt not.

I didn’t watch the games to consider how they looked; rather, I watched them because I witnessed the games. That’s all you can say about the coach—his work and ideas were clearly visible.

    A remarkable start

Regarding Arne Slot's Liverpool debut, Jurgen Klopp says, "A lot of things changed" When Arne Slot succeeded Jurgen Klopp

Klopp is now a fan of the Reds and was pleased with Liverpool’s performances against Ipswich and in the preseason.

He went on, “That’s extremely nice because I really enjoyed his football when he played with Rotterdam (Feyenoord).

“I saw the preseason friendly between Sevilla and us now. Significant portions of it were excellent, and the league game’s second half was undoubtedly excellent.

“But it doesn’t matter if I like it; you can see he is an excellent coach, and the team—which I now know better than most—is a really wonderful group.

Thus, everything will go pretty smoothly. “I want the club to succeed as much as I want him to succeed. My goal is for the players to succeed.

    The changeover

Despite being a prominent figure at Anfield and having sway over the club, Klopp was “really happy when he heard Liverpool were going for Arne Slot” and had no input in the choice of his replacement.

“I was not involved in anything, it should not be like that,” he clarified. I don’t resemble the guy in the background who is still wearing strings and other similar items.

“That’s not what I want; the club is too good and too big.” The folks are excessively intelligent.

“A lot has happened since we left, but I’m just worried about whether they’ll have a competent coach.

“It played a significant role in the decision, and Liverpool was quick to act and found an excellent solution in Arne Slot.”

After Klopp’s last game in May, he called out the incoming coach’s name, which immediately inspired supporters to believe in Slot and that things would get better.

Although the early going is encouraging, Slot’s legacy will not be determined by his performance in the first season, much like Klopp’s. This year is all about positioning the Reds for future dominance.
