Liverpool
Thanks to Kylian Mbappe, as Liverpool is ‘planning’ a double Real Madrid attack.

Ahead of Arne Slot’s debut season at Anfield, Liverpool has big intentions in the transfer market this summer.
Two Real Madrid players are on their radar following Kylian Mbappe’s move to Spain. Liverpool wants to take advantage of Kylian Mbappe’s sensational transfer to the Spanish city by recruiting Real Madrid players Rodrygo and Arda Guler this summer.
The former PSG star Mbappe will be joining an attacking group that already includes Vinicius Jr. and Jude Bellingham, making competition for spots in Los Blancos’ starting three next season intense. New Liverpool manager Arne Slot and returning CEO Michael Edwards will be looking to take advantage of the surplus, with the Brazilian and Turkish players in particular.
Real manager Carlo Ancelotti’s attacking options will be further enhanced by the impending arrival of teenage sensation Endrick from Palmeiras, giving Anfield fans hope that a trade for Rodrygo or Guler may be possible this summer. The Reds are evaluating the likelihood of reaching an agreement, according to Estadio Deportivo, however it’s still uncertain if Real will comply at this time.
With 15 goals and 8 assists in 47 appearances in the competitions last season, Rodrygo, 23, was a key player in Real Madrid’s victories in both La Liga and the Champions League. Guler, on the other hand, was much more of a supporting cast member, but the 19-year-old winger nevertheless left his imprint, tallying six goals in ten La Liga games.
With a strike from long range that hit the top corner to seal Turkey’s victory over Georgia in Dortmund on Tuesday, the teenager has emerged as a breakthrough hero of Euro 2024.
When Slot becomes leadership at Anfield, both players would be a huge asset to his offensive options. Restocking the attacking ranks is a top priority for Slot and Edwards this summer if the Reds are to compete for the Premier League title, with Diogo Jota sidelined by injuries, Cody Gakpo, Darwin Nunez, and Luis Diaz struggling for form, and Mohamed Salah’s abilities waning as he approaches 32.
Although a move for Guler seems optimistic, considering Madrid doesn’t seem to be under any pressure to let go of such a phenomenal young prospect, a move for Rodrygo seems more realistic. He may be moved out of Ancelotti’s starting lineup at the Santiago Bernabeu as he approaches his prime.
The 23-cap Brazil international may be drawn to a new challenge and a more prominent role given his three La Liga crowns and two Champions Leagues. UOL reports that Rodrygo may be forced to leave the Bernabeu this summer in order to prevent the possibility of a disappointing campaign in which he spends a lot of time on the bench.
The departures of center-back Joel Matip and midfielder Thiago on free transfers were confirmed at the end of the last campaign, meaning the Reds have not yet made their first summer acquisition.
