Newcastle winger Yankuba Minteh, who trained under Arne Slot at Feyenoord this summer, has been linked to Liverpool. There are “agreed terms” with a new club, according to the player’s agent.
This summer, Liverpool has been connected to wide forward after wide forward. According to The Athletic, the Reds will be searching for a man to fill that role during the transfer window.
The Reds reportedly have players like Nico Williams and Xavi Simons on their radar. They haven’t played under Arne Slot, Liverpool’s new head coach, whether it is true or not. While on loan at Feyenoord from Newcastle this season, Yankuba Minteh is reportedly another winger who might end up at Anfield before you know it.
Whether he is headed to Liverpool or not, the 19-year-old is probably going to be moving this summer. According to his agent Bakary Bojang, who spoke with Chronicle Live, a Newcastle-based publication, Minteh’s team has “agreed terms” abroad. Has Richard Hughes spent his weekend negotiating a deal?
It looks like things are going swiftly. Minteh’s representative initially provided Chronicle Live with an update on Saturday morning. Bojang stated, “It is true that Newcastle is willing to sell the player if they receive a good offer.” “We will certainly take a look at it if Newcastle wishes to sell and the sporting project is good.” We are in contact with a few other clubs.”
However, by the evening, it seemed as though the player had a satisfactory money deal on the table. “I am unable to verify the clubs that are in contact with us. With one of the clubs, we have an agreement in place. Thus, Newcastle now has the remainder, according to Bojang.
The club that seems to be in the driver’s seat to sign Minteh will be the subject of fan speculation. It is known that he played for Slot or his assistant, Sipke Hulshoff, in 37 of his 54 senior games. They are already connected.
In March, Rondo heard glowing remarks about the young player from Liverpool’s new manager. Slot remarked, “That is a huge weapon if you are that fast.” “He will disappear after just one action, and you won’t be able to find him again. In the last stage, I believe his selections are already getting better. The unfortunate part for us is that he most likely won’t play for us if he starts making extremely good decisions,” he said. Even though that has come to pass, a reunion might occur far sooner than Slot would have thought three months ago.
According to Sky Sports, Everton is interested in Minteh as part of a deal to bring Dominic Calvert-Lewin to Newcastle this summer, although those talks are still ongoing.
According to Liverpool.com, comments; Could Liverpool be the team that has reached an agreement on terms? All we can do is speculate. However, it seems like a realistic move the Reds may make this summer, so we’ll need to closely monitor what transpires.
