Kylian Mbappé ought to pay attention to the Liverpool transfer message, After the unexpected PSG contract decision.

A message from a former Liverpool player might help Kylian Mbappé think through his next move as his time at PSG appears to be coming to an end.
Many Liverpool supporters have had long-held fantasies about signing Kylian Mbappé. Unfortunately, for the same amount of time, it has seemed to be nothing more than a dream.
The transfer link has continued, despite this. The fact that Liverpool made attempts to sign Mbappé, ostensibly more than once, is more-or-less public knowledge. Ahead of his most recent contract extension with Paris Saint-Germain, the player himself most recently confirmed in an interview with The Telegraph that negotiations took place.
Therefore, some credit must be given for the incredible possibility. And now that Mbappé has chosen not to activate an extension that would have kept him at PSG until 2025 (according to Sky Sports), it might be time for him to pay attention to a recent transfer message.
Several media outlets have reported that the French superstar has written to PSG to inform the club he won’t be extending his stay. His current contract is set to expire the following year, and the Ligue 1 champion may decide to sell him this summer.

Real Madrid, who, unlike the Reds, can boast Champions League football next season, is the other suitor who has been frequently mentioned in connection with Mbappé, which does not help any remaining Liverpool transfer hopes. But it appears that the French star will have to leave PSG soon regardless of the situation for the sake of his career.
Djibril Cissé also urged Mbappé to think about Liverpool in a conversation he had with Lord Ping earlier this year.
“I want to watch Kylian Mbappé play for Liverpool. He is in the ideal league, in my opinion. Look at what Mo Salah is doing right now; he could accomplish the same things. I would love to see Mbappé there because elite teams need elite players, but I am aware that many teams want him. “.
Salah should undoubtedly be a key selling point for any forward looking to advance to the next level. The Egyptian has not only won everything at Liverpool, but he has also greatly improved his own reputation, going from being a “flop” to one of the all-time greats in the Premier League.
No one has ever referred to Mbappé as a failure. However, the longer he waits to put himself to the test outside of PSG and to give himself a legitimate chance at Champions League glory, the more he will be seen as a wasted talent. He already seems to be losing the title of generational Golden Boy to Erling Haaland.
Mbappé will therefore be thinking about his best course of action as his time at PSG appears to be coming to an end. Although moving to Liverpool is obviously unlikely, perhaps Cissé’s words will give him some food for thought.

Liverpool transfer news as $109 million ‘talks held’ and a release clause for Jürgen Klopp’s option surface

Liverpool transfer news: Jurgen Klopp’s side have reportedly been in talks with multiple clubs over a $109million duo, while the Reds could also exploit a release clause.
The ink on the paper on which Alexis Mac Allister signed his contract with Liverpool had barely dried when attention turned to who the Reds could bring to Anfield next as part of Jurgen Klopp’s rebuild.
The Argentine is a great start to the summer but it needs a lot more as Liverpool look for more midfield opportunities and maybe a position or two as well.
Klopp has already admitted that every outfield position is under scrutiny.

Many players are rated and Liverpool are looking for good values in a market where some of the advertised fees are outrageous.
Mac Allister has certainly proved to be a smart buy and it wouldn’t be a surprise if factors like availability and price dictated strategy for the rest of the summer.
That said, at least one more new midfielder is more or less non-negotiable.
The ideal timing would be for more players to arrive before Liverpool resume pre-season training in less than a month, so that the new additions can be fully integrated into the squad and system before the new campaign begins.
Here’s Liverpool.com’s verdict on the market gossip that emerged around the Reds today, starting with an update on two exciting young midfielders who have been heavily linked to moves in recent days.
Manu Kone (Borussia Monchengladbach) and Khephren Thuram (Nice)
Liverpool have held talks with both Manu Kone and Khéphren Thuram, according to Football Insider, to see what taxes and wages would look like if the Reds make a more concrete move.
The foundations have presumably been laid by Liverpool for the duo, both 22, with price and availability crucial to what the Reds do next in the transfer market as more midfield options are sought after the arrival of Mac Allister.
Koné would be available for around $44m (£35m/€41m), while Thuram will, according to Le Parisien, pay each suitor $65m (£51m/€60m), while Nice is under no pressure to buy him out.
Liverpool.com says: If Jörg Schmadtke makes a move for either player it should be feasible given the clubs they play for.
Liverpool should be able to coax talent from these types of teams, but other options are being explored that could bring more value.
Gonçalo Inácio (Sporting CP)

As well as needing to sign at least one or two more midfielders this summer, Liverpool could also use another centre-back, with Sporting’s Gonçalo Inácio being one of the more popular options to consider.
But according to Portuguese outlet Record, Sporting are planning to hand Inácio a new contract to extend his release clause, thanks to interest from Liverpool and others.
There’s no mention of how much higher the stipulation could be, only that the current price tag is set at $48m (£39m/€45m).
Inácio may be reluctant to lift that clause. O Jogo reports that while Sporting are hoping to boost his release value, the player has “frozen” talks due to interest from Liverpool and Manchester United.
They will turn 22 in August and a number of top clubs across Europe are watching closely.
